Hi @NotBurpeesAgain
Did you have a thread about losing your little boy? I’m sure I recognise your username and something to do etc that situation.
I’m so sorry you went through that but so chuffed that you are pregnant again and I wish you all the luck in the world.
It is a horrible nerve racking time and most of us are in a similar boat full of anxiety.
We don’t judge!!!

Martydog · 18/04/2018 19:59

Sorry if it's tmi but is anyone having lots of cm, sometimes I can feel it so I rush of to the toilet thinking I'm bleeding and I'm not it's just cm.

MagicalCreatures · 18/04/2018 20:05

Martydog
Yeh it’s perfectly normal. Apparently it’s your body’s way of clearing stuff out quicker to prevent infections x

Martydog · 18/04/2018 20:06

On a better note made my appointment with the midwife for a week on Friday. Up here we see them at 6 weeks you don't see a gp at all. Getting really real now. 😐

PineapplePrincess · 18/04/2018 20:23

Hi guys. Hope everyone is doing well. I’m slowly but surely going crazy here!?!

Currently 7+1, early scan 9am tomorrow morning. Have been counting down the days for so long now, I think I may just have a heart attack tomorrow morning.

Have convinced myself if it’s bad news that at least it’s early doors so the ‘process’ won’t be too bad. If it’s good news, I’m still too worried that I’m still not out of the woods (I lost first MC after finding a heart beat). Worried that the longer it goes on that I’ll end up back in hospital with a D&C again.

Can’t really let myself believe, that this will happen.

Random question, has anyone ever got a picture of an early scan? I remember asking with DC (as husband couldn’t attend) and was given a sharp no. Didn’t ask with more recent scans and never had anything to remember pregnancy by.

Athers666 · 18/04/2018 20:40

@PineapplePrincess All the best for your appointment x

NotBurpeesAgain · 18/04/2018 20:44

Hi MagicalCreatures. I did have a couple of threads about my son. Mumsnet helped me a lot.
I feel extremely lucky to have got pregnant so fast at 36, but the miscarriage seems to have sucked all the joy from this pregnancy.

Cakelaur · 18/04/2018 20:58

@NotBurpeesAgain welcome welcome! So sorry for your loss. 🤞🏻this one goes smoothly!

@PineapplePrincess great news for the scan. I totally know the feeling mine is next Friday and I'm DREADING IT!! 🤞🏻all goes well! Keep us posted!!

I'm in two minds about asking for a scan as I had one at 7 weeks last time I saw the heart beat then a week later I miscarried. But then on the other hand it's a long wait until 12 weeks

PineapplePrincess · 18/04/2018 22:04

Thanks @Athers666 and @Cakelaur.

@Martydog, I can understand you thinking. I automatically get a scan to confirm viability before starting clexane, due to previous DVT, so kinda have to do it.

Not sure my nerves would hold out to 12wks. I’m hoping it some how provides reassurance, but I doubt I will have until I pass the 12, 16 or even 20wk mark.

peachesarenom · 18/04/2018 22:58

Excellent question Martydog I was wondering about cm too!

I hope everything goes well at the scan tomorrow PineapplePrincess I am especially looking forward to hearing about the photo situation. I was sad too that I don't have a pic of the last one, especially considering I had seen the heart beat.

NotBurpeesAgain hello, glad you're here x

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 18/04/2018 23:02

So pleased to see you on here @NotBurpeesAgain I was on a miscarriage thread with you (I've name changed) and remember you well. We can do this. One step at a time. The first step was two lines on a test so we're making great progress!

Hand holds for you all. I won't relax until I have a babe in arms, this pregnancy. Pregnancy after loss is a whole different ball game.

@peachesarenom So many books!!

NotBurpeesAgain · 19/04/2018 08:38

Thinking of you PineapplePrincess. I hope everything goes well.

Cakelaur · 19/04/2018 09:31

Hope everything went ok @pineappleprincess 🤞

lolli18 · 19/04/2018 20:34

Hope all went well @PineapplePrincess ❤️❤️

PineapplePrincess · 19/04/2018 20:46

Hey guys. Thanks for the messages.

Scan went well. Heartbeat detected and all is looking well. Measuring 6+4 (slightly out from 7+2, but I think that’s normal at this early stage).

Feeling slightly calmer now. Almost burst into tears in front of the first nurse, as I ended up in the same room I was admitted with for my D&C. Between that and the radio playing some dodgy music that kept repeating ‘Mama, Mama’; you couldn’t have written it!?!

Hoping the next few weeks pass uneventfully. Still on crotch watch through!?! Next week’s drama is the midwife booking-in appointment.

NotBurpeesAgain · 19/04/2018 20:54

I am glad you got good results Pineapple.

Martydog · 19/04/2018 21:24

Really worried most of my symptoms have disappeared a few days ago I felt really nauseous, my boobs were really sore, loads of bloating and I was really tired. However everything has disappeared apart from the bloating. Has this happened to anyone else?

BobbySD345 · 19/04/2018 21:24

Ooh this is an exciting thread ! I think I am due 20th Dec. Had a missed mc in October. Fingers and toes crossed for this one. Anyone phoning the unit to see if they can get an early scan?

lolli18 · 19/04/2018 21:25

@Martydog exactly the same for me!!! Please let me know how you get on! Xx

lolli18 · 19/04/2018 21:26

@BobbySD345 I tried after 4 miscarriages and they said 7 weeks x

MagicalCreatures · 19/04/2018 21:34

PineapplePrincess
Fantastic news!!! Did you get a picture x

BobbySD345 · 19/04/2018 21:38

@Martydog have you been using clear blue digi? People say you can measure HCG in a way because it would go up in weeks as the levels rise. Relax and think positive ♥️

Martydog · 19/04/2018 21:48

@BobbySD345 no I haven't I can't justify £10 for a test. I'm going to do an internet cheapie one in the morning and see if the line has gone darker since Monday. But I'm just really worried that this might be the start of the slippery slope. Last time I miscarried 3 days after my booking in appointment with the midwife and my appointment is next week and I'm wondering if this pregnancy is going the same way. Miscarriages really mess the whole joy of pregnancy up. 😭 I suppose I should be just pleased that I'm pregnant but I keep worrying it's not going to last.
