I'm gonna ask for a picture!

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 17/04/2018 22:28

Good choice of bedtime reading @peachesarenom! I think I had that one in my first pregnancy. 'What to expect when you're expecting' is good too.

peachesarenom · 17/04/2018 23:10

Check out my collection SpongeBobGrannyPants!!! All are from last pregnancy bar your preg week by week which is my fave! Got one for DH too, he says he has read the first chapter, I'm not convinced!

Girls Help please!!!
How dark did your FRER go. The reason I’m so panicky about this is because I’m my miscarried pregnancy, my HCG was rising too slowly.
I’ll attach a pic but I don’t think this mornings line looks any darker then 2 days ago. I don’t know how dark the lines are meant to get x

@MagicalCreatures the bottom one is darker for sure. And it's beaten the control line!! Whoop!! Doing great. If you're worried, do a cb digital. It should say 2-3weeks

Cakelaur · 18/04/2018 08:18

@MagicalCreatures it looks the same as my one at 18dpo.

@Cakelaur
Thanks Hun. The line is thicker than the control line but not darker (in the flesh)
I just didn’t know if these tests get to a certain point where they don’t get any darker or if they do. X

MagicalCreatures · 18/04/2018 08:30

I’m being so over analytical (if that’s the correct word)
I sat awkwardly at a clients yesterday whilst doing a pedicure and pulled a muscle in my groin and now I have this visualisation that I’ve damaged something and ripped the baby away from where it was snuggled in.
It’s awful. My anxiety this morning is getting the better of me x

Beck1988 · 18/04/2018 09:02

@magicalcreatures the bottom one is defo darker! I know how you feel tho every twinge or cramp I get I'm like oh god is this normal? Am I cramping too much? An when I'm not getting any I'm like why have they stopped?! 😂Just gotta take one day at a time an I keep telling myself everything will be ok with this pregnancy! 🤞

Athers666 · 18/04/2018 09:09

Had my GP appointment! Was not very in depth, just took a few notes and blood pressure and booked me in to a midwife, which isn't until next Thursday! Seems a lifetime away, is this standard? Waaaaah!

Beck1988 · 18/04/2018 09:20

@athers666 I don't get to see a midwife until 8 weeks so that's good! X

Athers666 · 18/04/2018 09:26

@Beck1988 cripes! Must have seemed luje forever?! I have told a friend and she said I'll get a green book etc from the GP eith due date etc but I didn't get any of that today. Maybe the midwife will do all that?

Athers666 · 18/04/2018 09:28

@Beck1988 sorry my post made no sense, I meant 'that must seem like forever!' X

Cakelaur · 18/04/2018 09:39

Midwife booking appointments are between 8-10weeks usually

Beck1988 · 18/04/2018 09:55

I no it does! Think it will be off the midwife they might wait till you have a scan to give it to you tho? So they no dates are correct. Gonna try get early scan at 6-7 weeks hopefully x

xLeanne128 · 18/04/2018 12:18

My midwife appointment is next Tues and I'll be 6 weeks!! Not my choice. Receptionist said it was fine so who knows..

Athers666 · 18/04/2018 14:32

Oh, so my surgery just rang me, and cancelled my midwife appointment! Apparently as it's a booking appointment it's too soon so they've now changed it to the 4th of May! Ugh! The receptionist made the original appointment in error apparently.

Athers666 · 18/04/2018 14:35

@MagicalCreatures I hope you're ok. It's so hard isn't it not to analyse every little thing. I feel exactly the same, Im so so anxious and miserable!

MagicalCreatures · 18/04/2018 14:41

@Athers666 Thanks Hun. I need to just accept that if it’s meant to be, it will be. There’s nothing I can do about it.
So how far gone will you be on the 4th May.
I’m booked in for the 10th when I will be 7 weeks. I thinks that’s about normal x

Athers666 · 18/04/2018 14:45

About 7 weeks as well roughly x

peachesarenom · 18/04/2018 14:45

I've got my booking in appt with my scan on Monday. I'm high risk for several reasons though so maybe that's why?

NotBurpeesAgain · 18/04/2018 15:15

Hi everyone! Can I join in?
I lost my baby boy in January at 18 weeks (probably due to a chromosomal anomaly). I am pregnant again and I am doing everything I can not to think about it. I think I am trying not to get involved in case it ends badly again. When I do think about it, I am terrified.
I am going to try to get an early scan at 7 weeks to see if the pregnancy is viable, but it is not going to reassure me.
How do you manage to relax?

Beck1988 · 18/04/2018 15:33

Well my dd school txt today to say that there is slap cheek in school! Now I'm pretty sure she had it when I got pregnant last time but it was never confirmed by doctors. A few kids had it in school around the same time, (this possibly could of been why I misscarried last time but who nos) so now I've got this added worry what if it wasn't that last time & she gets it this time?😫 Really need these next 3 weeks to hurry up so I can get an early scan!
