@peachesarenom @martydog very bloated over here too couldn't fasten my jeans yesterday kept trying and unbuttoning them again a minute later haha xx

Yup. Mega bloated. Plus it doesn't help I have to wear a belt around my hips!! Being pregnant last time messed with the ligaments around my pelvis so I wear a really tight belt thing to hold my pelvis back together. It defo doesn't help with digestion!! Haha!!

@peachesarenom hahahah!!! Yup! That's totally what it means!! While I was waiting for the blood test results I went "browsing" in baby shops! I refuse to acknowledge the pregnancy yet. (Obviously not drinking or licking pate or anything) but until I see a scan it's not real. My mum bless her has started up the knitting again!! And OMG!! The prams are my favourite part. But I guess I have the nursery designed already from last time, and I know what car seat etc. Pram is still up for debate. Clothes I'll take a lot of hand me downs from my best mate. But I refuse to buy anything at all until after 12 weeks. I'll start thinking about it again at 8 weeks (if the second scan goes well) and I'm even refusing to download baby apps and stuff!! Haha

I've also refused to download baby apps this time! Last pregnancy I downloaded them when I found out an then I was sitting on the epu waiting room after the scan deleting them all & trying to stop the emails! 😞 So defo not looking at anything until I've had a scan this time! X

I'm the same @cakelaur whilst I acknowledge I'm pregnant I'm not thinking about it or allowing it to be real yet just want everything to be ok, for us all xx

Just been reading the epu website page at my hospital & hospital slightly further away and both say you either have to get referred by a doctor or of self referral you have to of had at least 2 miscarriages! 😞 Gonna try an beg the doctor to refer me but they usually aren't very good! Otherwise it will be private £45 scan at 7weeks! Seems like forever away.

Did you see the epu when you had your mc Beck1988? Just call them. I always find they are easier going and have more empathy than others

@peachesarenom yes I went the epu for scan when I had miscarriage. Think I'm gonna fone docs today & try get appt for next week, if they don't seem like they are gonna refer me il phone epu & try to get in b4 I book a private one just not holding onto any hope. The silly thing is my sis is a midwife in the same hospital so I no if I told her she could prob have a word an get me in, but didn't want to tell anyone till I no everything's ok, my family don't even no I had the miscarriage! X

Just phoned doctors & they haven't even got any appt to book me in for next week! Gita phone up on the day early & try an get one 😡 To fit around work & school pick up! Rubbish doctors!

OMG! You've really got to know what you want to say to the EPU when you call them! What did you say cakelaur? When I called, I just said that I was told to ring back if I got pregnant and they said 'no, this is an emergency department, then I told them my name and they said 'I recognise you, you can come in on...' Lol! No letter for permission from work but they will give me a discharge note!

I was literally on the phone for less than 30 seconds, they told me to call if I was preggers again for a scan at 5 weeks so that is what I did! It might be because I had gestational diabetes last time? Dunno.
