@Cakelaur I see your perfect little bump, and I raise you one great big bloated heffa!!!
😂 I had dinner out for a family birthday the other night, and after I looked 7 months atleast x

Athers666 · 04/06/2018 17:03

@xLeanne128 I totally get it. I also feel pretty much normal. Very few signs to report. I have googled it over and over and I'm convinced that I'll be getting bad news at the scan. Hope we will be the lucky few who still feel ok and have a healthy bean x

Athers666 · 04/06/2018 17:07

Here's a pic of my bump aka fat. It's just food isn't it? 😞😞

hayleyfx · 04/06/2018 18:45

@Cakelaur I’m slightly less nervous than last week but still terrified at every cramp! 5 weeks today and still not feeling like it’s real, not allowing myself to be excited unless I get good news at 7 week scan tbh. Wow MC makes consequent pregnancies so much harder!

xLeanne128 · 04/06/2018 18:53

@Athers666 yay haha I've posted on a fee threads and had a Google apparently it's quite common xx

Primrose16 · 04/06/2018 19:47

@cakelaur thanks I’m okay. No symptoms for the last 4 days so really stressed. I have tiredness still- but with a 18month old it’s to be expected. Nice bumps coming along there. I thought I was getting a bit of a bump- but my friend asked today if I had lost weight 🤔. Got to ring up for my scan in the am.
I didn’t feel flutters until 18 weeks with my daughter, I remember it fondly. I was in a serious child in need meeting and I felt a little flutter so started to smile- oops. Ha ha

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 04/06/2018 21:52

lianne I think it's about 1 in 5 who don't get symptoms so fairly common. But I know it comes with worry. Tbh I had the worst sickness in the pregnancy I lost at 20 weeks so sickness doesn't necessarily go hand in hand with a healthy pregnancy either in my experience. It's just that people will always say something to make a pregnant lady feel better, so if they say they're sick they'll say it's a good sign because, well, it's bloody awful feeling nauseous all the time so might make them feel like it's worth it. Try not to take it to heart Thanks

I just wish we could have a little window in there to check!

BabynameEdie · 04/06/2018 22:59

Hello everyone, I've been reading and keeping tabs on your messages but have had such a busy time at work so unable to post for a while. Loving all your bump pics and positivity coming through!
@xLeanne128 @Athers666 I'm so with you guys, I barely feel anything. When I'm working I basically forget about it except for feeling far less energetic on long shifts. I get occasional bloating and had cramps last week but still nothing else. Felt a little nauseous on the train earlier today and a bit grossed out by the smell of someone's food sitting next to me. But otherwise, nout.
I have my first scan tomorrow at midday, I should be 6+4 but am pretty certain it's bad news. I just don't feel it, it doesn't feel good. I feel quite matter of fact about it but know that's self preservation and it'll be horrendous to go through another mc. Am so scared I'll never be able to carry to term, and people keep saying 'at least you know you can get pregnant' and I know they're trying to be nice but it makes me want to slap them!! 🤦‍♀️
Anyone else have a scan tomorrow? Feel I need some hands to hold 🤝🐧

Athers666 · 05/06/2018 06:14

@babynamedEdie I have a scan tomorrow so deffo need a hand hold too! Am so so worried x

BabynameEdie · 05/06/2018 06:47

@Athers666 we can do this! Thanks for your support

Athers666 · 05/06/2018 06:50

@BabynameEdie Good luck today. Thinking of you! X

Cakelaur · 05/06/2018 08:00

@BabynameEdie good luck hun. If it helps I felt nothing til about 6 weeks ish. Then nausea started slowly. Just the odd day. I hope bub is all nice and snug and just behaving in there. Sending hugs and hand holds.

@Athers666 it will all be perfect. I'd say yours looks like bump. But the pic is really blurry haha. This is your nuchal scan right? You and me both tomorrow!!! Argggh! Although after finding bubs heartbeat on the Doppler last night I feel much more relaxed.

Good luck for scans @Athers666 and @BabynameEdie - will be thinking of you both.

Wow I didn't know the stats were 1 in 5 for not having any symptoms - I guess that's why you hear about so many people who didn't know they were preg! Hope you're feeling a bit better @xLeanne128 .

First day back at work after half term and feeling super conscious of my bump.. desperately hoping none of the students ask!!

Athers666 · 05/06/2018 08:30

@Cakelaur fingers crossed for us tomorrow. Mine's in the morning so I can't panic all day which is good I guess!

Athers666 · 05/06/2018 08:45

Crisps or sticky Bean? Waaaah x

I have just rung up for my scan and they don’t have a appointment for me. I don’t know what’s happened- if they fully booked or midwife not sent it through. I’m 11 weeks on Thursday so ideally I want a my scan next week- I don’t think I can wait any longer because worry is making me ill. I have come off the phone crying and have to wait for them to ring me back either today or tomorrow. 😢

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 05/06/2018 09:06

Good luck for the scans today ladies.

I've got some elastic waistbands (H&M cotton summer trousers) on today and it feels AMAZING. I'm not sure there's any going back to my jeans after this.

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 05/06/2018 09:08

@Primrose16 They'll have to fit you in before 13 weeks (IIRC) if you're getting the nuchal testing. Hope they get it sorted soon.

Is a private reassurance scan an option for you in the meantime?

Primrose16 · 05/06/2018 09:14

@SpongeBobGrannyPants I looked at a few on groupon etc but couldn’t find any good deals locally. I never looked into the cost of full price. I thought since I was so close to 12 weeks now I’d be fine waiting another week but I might have to look into it

Cakelaur · 05/06/2018 09:27

@Athers666 defo cute little bump!!
@Primrose16 don't worry babe they'll fit you in. They always find a little space. Cos they have to do it before 13+6. Otherwise they can't do the testing. Hopefully it will be early next week to save nerves.

They just rung back. 19th June I don’t know what time she said as I had to jump out of the shower to answer. I think she said 1.

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 05/06/2018 13:08

Ah that's great news primrose! I'd just call back and double check. No harm!

Cakelaur · 05/06/2018 13:11

Yay @Primrose16 that's just 2 weeks away!! Whoop!!

How's everyone keeping it hidden from work?

Really struggling. Got booking in Appt tomorrow so I'm working from home to try 'mask' how long id actually be out the office for (app says 90 minutes)

I'm in no way ready to tell anyone...

But I'm so bad at telling white lies HmmBlush

Got my scan date for 12th July - 5 weeks 1 day for my dating scan. So plenty of time to think of a reason while I need the afternoon off.

Primrose16 · 05/06/2018 15:50

@SpongeBobGrannyPants yep good job I rang back- 4:10 😂
Yep 2 weeks today @cakelaur, can’t come soon enough as I’m getting all stressed and worked up.
@Patienceofatoddler my scan is actually on my day off. Does your line manager know?
