Yes ladies. Very productive. Is everyone else still just taking baby steps? I joined a fb group this morning for December babies and I feel I'm pushing it too far. Almost deleted them! 🙈

@tweedles1511 I paid for private thyroid, hcg and progesterone blood levels to be done. I was really panicked that it took so long to get a bfp. And was worried all my levels were off. They were all fine which was defo a relief. I'm still using my serenity progesterone cream as I believe it got me my bfp, so I'm going to keep using until 16 weeks to be safe. But right now I just have to get to 27th April when I have a scan at Epu.

Hi all, finally plucked up the courage to join! I'm 5 weeks 2 days and due around mid December. Had 2 early miscarriages last year so as much as I'm excited I'm also feeling terrified! I'm trying to be positive though and taking signs like being really tired as a good thing.

I've spoken to my GP about the possibility of any early scans, reassurance etc but apparently 2 miscarriages doesn't qualify me - have others found the same? If I try calling my EPU might they see me anyway? I haven't got any appointments yet, basically unless anything starts to look like it's going wrong they are treating this like a first pregnancy. So it's a case of counting down the days and a private scan at 8 weeks!

Beck1988 · 16/04/2018 17:50

How did everyone's first day back at work go? Mine went pretty quickly didn't tell anyone I'm pregnant tho! X

peachesarenom · 16/04/2018 19:20

Hi everyone!

I got told I look 'radient' today! Lol!

lolli18 · 16/04/2018 20:43

Mine went slow and tiring haha dreading the long shift tomorrow 😔

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 16/04/2018 20:50

I have the midwife on 10th May too @MagicalCreatures. Should see consultant at some point too but don't have a date for that yet.

I'm definitely extra cautious @Cakelaur. I thought about joining that Facebook group but going to wait a bit. I found it a bit sad leaving the one I was on for my last pregnancy as I had got to know them a bit (although I couldn't have stayed on it and seen all the babies coming).

I saw something on the news about people camping outside Lindo wing for kate and will's third baby. It made me really sad as I remember thinking that when her baby was born I'd only have a month or so to go for my own one.Totally mad. I don't even know them.

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 16/04/2018 20:51

Hi and welcome to those with the fresh BFPs too. Congrats!

peachesarenom · 16/04/2018 21:44

DH is driving me mad! We might be moving and he's packing in a panic and with no plan, he doesn't want to hire help, or even label boxes. I resorted to calling my mum, she told him to keep his hands off my stuff and that she'd help me pack. Really angry with him! Raging!

Martydog · 16/04/2018 21:45

My first day back was tiring, I'm sure people are going to guess soon as I keep running off to the loo to check everything is still fine. I'm still using my serenity progesterone cream as well.

MagicalCreatures · 16/04/2018 23:21

@SpongeBobGrannyPants
Exciting. How far gone will you be then. I’ll be 7 weeks exactly.
Well it’s my DH and mines 1st Wedding Anniversary on Sunday and he’s surprising me to a hotel night stay with dinner etc. I have no idea where we’re going BUT it’s got a sauna and jacuzzi that I CANT USE (sob!!!)

Beck1988 · 17/04/2018 09:11

Wow the tiredness has set in today! Could go to sleep standing up right now 😴

Cakelaur · 17/04/2018 13:22

@Beck1988 right there with you babe. Curled up on the sofa about to take a nap. Hoping the puppy won't pee on the floor for an hour!! Haha!!

I think I'll be about 7 weeks based on my dates, but 8 weeks based on LMP @MagicalCreatures

xLeanne128 · 17/04/2018 16:09

Same girls!! Last 2 days I've been shattered been yawning and weeing all day. Not sleeping at night either x

lolli18 · 17/04/2018 20:42

Me too ! Happy though

Athers666 · 17/04/2018 21:25

Got my GP appointment tomorrow morning. So nervous but I don't know why! No idea what to expect!

Cakelaur · 17/04/2018 21:35

Has anyone else got achey uterus? I keep getting stretching pains hoping it's a good sign!

OP posts:
SpongeBobGrannyPants · 17/04/2018 21:38

Got my 2-3 today on CB digi so some hcg progression. Baby steps!

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 17/04/2018 21:41

I've been mildly achey since ovulation this cycle, more so since implantation. I've had some degree of cramping in all pregnancies in the first trimester (except not so much in the one I lost come to think of it) so think it's normal/positive sign.

Sometimes cramps/aches can be coming from your digestive tract too. The rise in progesterone slows your digestion I think.

Cakelaur · 17/04/2018 21:54

@Athers666 good luck tomorrow. Nothing to worry about. They literally just chat to you.

@SpongeBobGrannyPants yay!! It's so exciting to see it get past the 1-2 weeks. I only tested twice with my first bfp. This time I've tested almost every day! 🙈

OP posts:
Beck1988 · 17/04/2018 22:02

@calelaur I've been having uterine cramping and lots of stretching & pulling feelings! Hoping it's a good sign baby is getting deep into the lining! My legs have been really achy this time too! X

peachesarenom · 17/04/2018 22:15

Cakelaur mine has been crampy, but focussed cramps, if that makes sense? No stretching yet, I did get that last time though but I was thinking maybe my uterus has been pre stretched!

peachesarenom · 17/04/2018 22:19

Also, not great with the taking baby steps, already told both sets of parents and one brother! Also, bought this.

My scan is on Monday, I will only just be 5 weeks. I think it will be too soon to see a heart beat but as long as there is a gestational sac in the right place all is well, right?

Cakelaur · 17/04/2018 22:19

@peachesarenom haha a pre-stretched uterus!! Haha!! Made me chuckle! My chiropractor guessed last week I was pregnant cos my pelvis was really loose. She told me yesterday she suspected but didn't wanna say anything in case it was just left over from the mc.

OP posts:
Cakelaur · 17/04/2018 22:21

@peachesarenom yup at 5weeks you just wanna see a sac. I think the fetal pole starts growing in week 5. Too early for heartbeat.
