@lolli18 haha weird! I dont really know my cycles are irregular. I'm 16dpo maximum I think I'm about 4weeks 2 days but who knows haha.. You? Xx

xLeanne128 · 15/04/2018 19:05

@magicalcreatures yeah give doctors a ring so they can refer you to midwife. Might be a dump question but how do you go about getting a private scan? Think id like one at 8 weeks for reassurance x

Beck1988 · 15/04/2018 19:39

Google private scans by where u live there's usually quite a few places around. The one by me is £45 but a few of the girls on here have foned their epu an they have got appt for early scan even tho only had 1 miscarriage. So I'm gonna phone mine first an try get in b4 I book private x

Martydog · 15/04/2018 19:52

I'm going to keep testing until the positive line is darker than the control line. I helps me as I know the pregnancy is still developing. I just hope this one sticks I don't think I could cope with another miscarriage especially as my husband is away with work (out of the country) until 22nd May and he is the only one who knows at the moment.

I'm a teacher in year 2 so I'm back to work tomorrow. (Sorry I couldn't remember who asked)

wombats · 15/04/2018 21:02

Thanks for the welcome all. @magicalcreatures, don't think I'm any stronger than anyone else, just feel I can't stop until we get our baby!

Marty, I tested every two or three days for the first week, v reassuring to see line get darker. Are you able to book a blood test or early scan? Knowing my HCG level was high helped tremendously.

Martydog · 15/04/2018 21:14

@wombats where do you get the blood test from? I'm going to contact the midwife next week as around here you go straight to them rather than your go. So hopefully they will tell me if I can get an early scan.

Cakelaur · 15/04/2018 21:15

@MagicalCreatures I only had one mmc and I called Epu direct and sort of self referred so they may see you.

@xLeanne128 I'm about the same ! Can't wait for a scan :)

xLeanne128 · 15/04/2018 21:37

I'll try epu first then as they scanned and confirmed miscarriage last time and have records for me. If not I'll pay private. @lolli18 aw it's nice we have same name and are nearly same haha xx

Cakelaur · 15/04/2018 22:33

What's everyone EDD?

Beck1988 · 16/04/2018 07:04

So I took early response test this morning but also done ic with same urine? The Er was as dark as control line but ic was not as dark as previous days? Do u think it's because I done two tests after each other? The 1st one getting the hcg more? Don't no if this is how it works???

Cakelaur · 16/04/2018 07:22

@Beck1988 don't worry babe. The IC is less sensitive. So it will take longer to become darker. Top frer is 15dpo, middle frer is 17dpo, bottom frer 18dpo. IC is this morning at 21dpo. The bottom frer 'beat the control line' 3 days ago. But the IC isn't even close.

@MagicalCreatures congratulations you must be so pleased

Beck1988 · 16/04/2018 08:28

Thanks @cakelaur just panicking at everything now! Just managed to get through to the docs & have got an appt at 9 this morning so I can tell them. Seeing the doc that I seen when had miscarriage so hopefully she will be kinder & phone epu an get early scan for me 🤞.

Cakelaur · 16/04/2018 08:45

@MagicalCreatures YAY!! Great progression!!

@lolli18 @Cakelaur
Thanks girls.
Oh my god that was the longest 2 days of my life but I’m so pleased. The line is so much darker x x

Beck1988 · 16/04/2018 09:48

Feel a little better after seeing the doctor, she wouldn't refer me for early scan but said to give them a call an ask myself otherwise it will be private scan. Let's hope these next few weeks go quickly an everything is ok with our scans! X

Cakelaur · 16/04/2018 10:04

@Beck1988 call Epu direct. It worked for me. I bypassed the Drs completely

I never get tired of seeing BFPs! So exciting.

For the first time I've bought more CB Digis so I can see some progression in the 'weeks from conception' count. Going to do one tomorrow when it should safely be 2-3 weeks and again next week when it should be 3+. This is my fourth pregnancy and I've never felt anxious enough to do this before. Symptoms don't really kick in for me until 5/6 weeks usually so I need some reassurance.

xLeanne128 · 16/04/2018 12:26

Just rang doctors to ask about procedure/how to organise booking with midwife. They have a midwife based at my doctors so im booked in for a week today!! I said I'm only early no more than 5 weeks she said it's fine so who knows! Will ask my questions there and ask about a scan xx

MagicalCreatures · 16/04/2018 12:48

Rung my doctors and they said go straight to the pregnancy unit next door which I did.
I’ve got an appt booked for 10th May when I should be 7weeks exactly. Exciting!

tweedles1511 · 16/04/2018 14:08

Hi ladies, I'm tentatively joining, had a couple of faint BFPs on the weekend and finally a proper positive line this morning. Terrified after having had two miscarriages in the past 6 months. Just wondered if anyone has had any bloodwork done to test for progesterone levels to make sure increasing as they should be? Feel like I'm jinxing things just by joining pregnancy group!
