Went to the docs this morning thought it's better to get checked out sooner! They have booked me in at epu on Monday, this will be one long ass weekend! 😫

@Beck1988 oh bless you. That’s a long wait. Try to do relaxing and fun things this weekend. @Cakelaur oh heck bless you that doesn’t sound good are you in pain? Have you heard from the gp yet. Pregnancy does strange things to the body. @xLeanne128 hope all goes well on Sunday

@Martydog the first test was done at 4+5 weeks at 19dpo and the second was done at 5 weeks 21dpo
How many weeks are you?

@kaytees I really did think twins but not now. I think that Ifbit was my HCG would be more then doubling every 48 hours. Mine were just a fraction short of doubling

@MagicalCreatures my was done on 5+5 and 6 so I am a little bit in front of you, that probably explains why mine were higher I was starting to worry that I might be have multiplies.

@Martydog so your a week ahead of me. Now I am thinking it might be twins.

@kaytees maybe we should put bets down and try earning a few squid 😂

@lolli18 the week before I got my BFP I had THE worst nightmares I kept waking up crying!

You're on @MagicalCreatures - a fiver says yours is twins! 😂 I haven't even heard from maternity unit so expect I won't get bloods before my early scan.

And YES @lolli18 that was one of the first things that made me suspect I was preg, such vivid dreams!

@kaytees @BobbySD345 aw thankyou pleased to know , had to explain alot of d.v past and brought up a lot but never usually have dreams or nightmares

@lolli18 the 2 nights before my BFP I had really vivid dreams. And since then I have had a few nightmares too

@BobbySD345 me too with the crying nightmares!!
@MagicalCreatures yeah it is a fissure! Which I never knew I had.

Pregnancy has made it nice and plump with extra blood flow, so today's explosion was it releasing!!! Crazy thought I'd lost the baby!! 🙈 but all good Drs had a good poke around. No piles or anything. So they said no to worry. And my brown spotting has stopped. All in time for my holiday!! 😍

Oooh statistically someone needs to have twins!!! 🤣😂 I've had a scan. It's defo not me!!

@Cakelaur oh you poor thing. I feel your pain!!! My lovely little friend has (quite literally) been a pain in my arse for a few years now 😂
But hey, let’s get them settled in now, coz after child birth, they’re gonna pop their ugly faces out anyway.
And yes, statistically twins have to appear someone on the December thread. I can’t wsit to see who it’s gonna be. I’m still not convinced it’s gonna be me.
I still have no sickness or anything really. I’ve heard that with twins, the sickness and tiredness is meant to be overpowering x

Got my BFP 11 dpo. Now on 15dpo and got 2-3 weeks on a digital this morning. So I'm being brave and lingering on the threshold lol.

In august I mc'd at 7 weeks with a suspected ectopic. If it works out this would be my first.

I'm telling some close friends today which I think will help me feel a bit more excited about it.

How many of you are having/have had early scans? And when do you think is a good time?

I had a scan on Wednesday at 5+5 as I was bleeding and they could only see a sac, so I'm going back in a week and a half, I will hopefully be 7+5 then. 🤞It's ok. Everyone on here is really nervous and worried about sticky beans so it is very supportive. Enjoy telling your friends today I am telling my parents next weekend and I think they are going to be very surprised (they don't know about my previous miscarriage) as I am 41 and we have a 10 year old so I think they think we only want 1 child.

@martydog fingers crossed for the next scan! Let us know what your parents say!

I told my close friends and family about the MC a few months after it happened. I think I'll tell people in stages with each milestone

Hi @Daffodil77 - I remember you from conception boards, good to see you here! I had an early scan (I think around 6/7 weeks) with DS and found it so reassuring. Have another booked for the same time frame.

@Martydog how are you feeling about the wait between scans? Sounds like telling some friends is a good idea... as you say, makes it feel better when others are excited.

Haha who will be having twins?! I have nausea and tiredness but had it early on with DS. Though I did get 3+ weeks on a digital test at 16DPO so could be... 2 weeks today til scan!

@Daffodil77 Hiya ! 🌷 Congrats ! If you want my advice don't go to EPU before 7 weeks unless there is a problem. I phoned because I'd had mc in oct and they said they wanted to do early scan but I wish I'd never gone as they found an empty sac, potentially only because it's too early but I haven't slept properly since worrying and googling. The wait is awful.

Try and hold out until 7 weeks unless there is a problem! X

@kaytees I'm trying to be positive but I do keep thinking I might not get to the next scan. Especially as I keep having spotting, yesterday morning I woke up to some which lasted for about an hour whenever I wiped (sorry for tmi) and today I was fine when I woke but then half an hour later I got some more. It keeps going and coming back. I just want to know if this means I'm starting to miscarry or it's just one of those things. It's the not knowing that's the worse.

@Martydog the wait is awful isn't it. Can't you get booked in sooner? They usually want you in if there's any bleeding. Have you got any other symptoms? X

I was in on Wednesday and I have to go back a week on Wednesday. Our epu doesn't scan at the weekends and honestly they don't really know why I was bleeding. They said it could just be inplantation and the baby getting comfortable in my uterus.

Hi Daffodil77. Bobo on the conception thread said if you've had an ectopic before you have to go at 5 weeks, you wont really be able to see anything but I think they just want to be sure it is growing in the right place. Otherwise, next time I wouldn't go in till 7/8 weeks.

@peachesarenom glad your scan was good 😊
