Hello

I thought I'd start a new thread for people who have are due late Nov/ early Dec

A bit about me...

I'm 28 have been married nearly 2 years and we were very lucky and managed to fall pregnant first month TTC...

I've self referred on the NHS website and am awaiting my booking in appointment 🙂

I know what you mean. I had the midwife on Tuesday and felt like a fraud really because I didn't know if I was still pregnant or not.

AnotherOriginalUsername · 14/04/2018 07:55

I think I'm going to speak to my GP next week and see if I can be referred for a scan or at least have some bloods done

ND348 · 14/04/2018 08:39

I discovered a new symptom I wasn't aware of today.... increased heart rate. Normally hover at around 60 bpm but the last two weeks it's been 65-66 bpm on my fitbit. Google said this is really normal. Who would have thought something the size of a Blueberry could increase your heart rate by 10%! Shows there is a lot of amazing stuff going on inside us right now x

EL332 · 14/04/2018 13:21

I've just had what I thought was an 8 week scan but my dates were out and baby is 6.5 weeks but looking good with a very strong heartbeat 🙂

Awww congratulations! I was 6 weeks 6 days yesterday according to scan so we're just a couple of days apart :) x

GreenGooner · 14/04/2018 14:17

I don't get this dating lark. They just put me forward to 7+3 but all looked well and heart beating nicely! I do have a cyst on my ovary though x

Emma198 · 14/04/2018 15:11

Aaw congratulations!! They go on how big it is so I'm not sure if some grow quicker than others. Dated me at 5 weeks last Friday and 6 weeks 6 days yesterday so grown 13 days worth in a week! Sonographer said it's not very accurate until 12 weeks x

AnotherOriginalUsername · 14/04/2018 18:15

Has anyone had any heartburn? I'm assuming it's heart burn, I've never had it before. Got a dodgy heart so could be a heart attack, who knows?!

Emma198 · 14/04/2018 19:13

I've had loads from dead early on 😓

AnotherOriginalUsername · 14/04/2018 19:30

I'm taking it as a positive sign after Thursdays shenanigans. It's unpleasant but I'd rather this to nausea and vomiting.

Have text my husband and told him to pick something up for heartburn. Kinda hoping he interprets that as ice cream, not gonna lie...

AnotherOriginalUsername · 14/04/2018 20:01

And this is why I married him!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 14/04/2018 20:06

Photo helps

AnotherOriginalUsername · 14/04/2018 20:13

Or not!

Emma198 · 14/04/2018 20:31

Is it ice cream? 😊 new symptoms are surely a good sign. Mine doesn't go away without taking actual medicine at the moment I've been downing milk like no ones business x

AnotherOriginalUsername · 14/04/2018 20:39

Ben and Jerry's and gaviscon!

EL332 · 14/04/2018 21:25

@AnotherOriginalUsername that's a good pregnancy partner! I think Ben and Jerry's makes everything better 🤰❤️

Is it too late to join this? I’m 26 (first baby!) 5 weeks and due early December :-) I keep having cramps like my period is coming so I’m super anxious!

Emma198 · 14/04/2018 21:46

You've got a good one there @another. X

EL332 · 14/04/2018 22:11

@Rachbones1992 hello! Come join us - I had pains like that for a few weeks and when reading up I think it's the uterus stretching a growing 🙂 how are you feeling other than that?

Rachbones1992 · 14/04/2018 23:08

Hello! :-) ah that’s good then :-) I am quite nauseous on a morning and if i have a long period without eating (work!) haha I didn’t think I’d have symptoms this soon! Thank you for the reassurance :-) I think I’ve been so excited for this to happen that now I can’t quite believe it!

ellsharks · 15/04/2018 16:24

8 week scan today! Baby measuring at 7.6 days so pretty spot on and ❤️ 148bpm! It doesn't actually look like anything just a lump 😂! But has definitely settled my anxiety so would highly recommend for anyone who's nervous xx

Emma198 · 15/04/2018 16:31

Yyeeeyyy well done x

AnotherOriginalUsername · 15/04/2018 17:21

Glad all is well ellsharks!

Aggiemacc · 15/04/2018 20:42

Happy for you @ellsharks x

Liz3891 · 15/04/2018 21:32

@Rachbones1992 I had exactly the same crampy feelings in the first couple weeks (maybe weeks 5-6?)
