@Wow1234 YES!! I have been so tired and tearful. I’m even getting on my own nerves!

@AHungryMum Ditto, it’s exhausting. And sick of waking up with my stomach physically hurting because I’m so desperate for a wee...at least twice a night! Oh God how much longer....

BluePheasant · 04/02/2018 09:38

Good luck @Kpo58, hope it all goes well Smile

Yes to the pain when needing a wee! And being emotional!
I was in Tescos yesterday and pain was getting unbearable and I felt if I had a wee it would ease it. All toilets out of order except one and a queue. This is after 20 mins of DD acting up and asking for something every 5 seconds! Had to compose myself not to just cry and have a tantrum myself!
Getting everything online for the foreseeable future!

Anna2006 · 04/02/2018 13:36

Well due date today and nothing happening. Eugh.

Went for 2 mile hike in the woods.

I was proper emotional for few days last few days. Was hoping it was a sign but hasn’t come to much an feel normal ish again now lol

X

Readytopop12 · 04/02/2018 14:23

Baby is pressing on a nerve in my groin which keeps sending shooting pains through my lady bits (sorry if TMI) sounds dramatic but literally has me bent double in pain, or as bent double as you can be with a huge bump 😩 Midwife wasn't very sympathetic. Due a week tomorrow, loads of tightenings but never comes to anything. Tired and emotional!

laelti · 04/02/2018 14:26

Aw @Anna2006 I know the feeling.
Officially overdue now and fed up! Waddled to the shops and back but not sure my hips will take any further. Back ache and mild cramps coming very intermittently last few days but never seem to go anywhere. My original LMP due date was Feb 10th so wonder if he's working to that schedule!

Very fed up of being asked for updates too... I know it's because people are excited and all but so frustrating!

Rainshowers · 04/02/2018 15:44

Due date here too! Anna2006 I'm impressed you managed two miles! We probably walked half (if that) this morning into town for a coffee and I'm wiped out. No sign here of a due date baby.

Baby is just so low, it's uncomfortable and I feel like I'm pretty useless with DD1 at the moment. I'm so pleased I've kept her in nursery and couldn't entertain her every day!

charley39 · 04/02/2018 16:38

Just started to have really bad pains but high up in my back and around my chest so not sure if this can be Labour or not? It’s a constant ache and then builds up to a more intense pain. Have had tightenings and lower back ache all day yesterday but unsure if this could be the real thing?

Dixeychick · 04/02/2018 19:09

Does anyone else feel like an absolute whale? I'm getting some swelling now which isn't helping, but I feel really embarrassed by how big I am! I've put on about 35lb(!??!) & am starting to realise that pretty soon people will realise that it isn't in fact all baby but quite a lot is cake! I know breastfeeding is a great way to lose weight but 3 stone of it...........???

SomehowSomewhere1 · 04/02/2018 19:56

Dixeychick another great big huge whale here!! SPD, excessive fluid and no idea where my feet are!

MsP0b · 04/02/2018 20:46

SPD and a massive breech baby here! Pretty much immobile and sooooo frustrated. 9 days to go to ELCS.

Warm baths and bouncing on exercise ball helping a bit with agonising fanny pain Confused

Hang in there everyone. Some people with cramps and pains sound like they are getting close! Xxx

BluePheasant · 04/02/2018 21:26

Yep, feel bloody massive! Last time I checked I’d put on about 2 and a half stone and I was only about 8st to start with! My swollen legs are like sausages.

Fingers crossed it won’t be long for those of you overdue now.

MsP0b, how long have you know your ELCS date for? I think I will phone my hospital tomorrow as I’m 38+1 so shouldn’t I have a date for ELCS by now? They seem to leave it really last minute here Hmm

MsP0b · 04/02/2018 21:36

I had a scan at 36+5 to see if she was still breech and they booked it then. The ELCS is at 39+3.

Yes I would phone and chase up your ELCS date I reckon. X

BluePheasant · 04/02/2018 21:40

Wow that’s so different to my hospital. With DD we knew she was breech from about 34 weeks and then at 37 weeks decision was made to go for ELCS as still breech but I still didn’t get a date until a few days before she was born. Yes I will phone them tomorrow, would be nice to have a date to aim for!

Dixeychick · 04/02/2018 21:57

Glad it's not just me! I'm about to waddle off to bed to see how long I last until the hip pain stops me getting back to sleep... not long to go now!

MsP0b · 04/02/2018 22:04

@BluePheasant To be fair, the scan at 36 would have been happening anyway because I've had regular growth scans after a dodgy bleed at 17wks.

They have also told me they'll scan on the morning of the ELCS and if she's turned they will cancel it and send me away!

MsP0b · 04/02/2018 22:06

Goodnight @Dixeychick and all! Another night of tossing and turning while wedging pillows under heavy bumps and annoying hip and rib pain!!

BluePheasant · 04/02/2018 22:52

Ah I see MrsP0b, that must feel strange knowing it could all completely change so last minute!

I would quite like this baby to stop doing his leg stretches now so I can get some sleep, he’s been at it all day! Goodnight all!

TriJo · 05/02/2018 01:51

Should be 39 weeks, but am in a hospital bed beside my 4 day old's cot. Was induced for reduced movements, little guy arrived on Thursday in quite dramatic fashion and it turned out there was a tight true knot in the cord.

Kpo58 · 05/02/2018 04:01

@TriJo How is your 4 day old getting on?

I was hoping for more sleep in hospital (before the baby comes), but in reality I'm having to wake every 2 hours to check my blood sugar levels. It's really hard getting back to sleep. I'm only in a room shares with one other person, so there isn't even any noise to complain about. Sad

Kpo58 · 05/02/2018 09:42

My waters have now broken a day before the planned c-section. I wonder if it's going to happen today instead.

inappropriateraspberry · 05/02/2018 09:59

Ugh. Been sick this morning, and wondering if it's a sign!

BluePheasant · 05/02/2018 10:53

Congratulations @TriJo that must have been scary though, hope you and baby are now doing well.

Exciting @Kpo58 hopefully they’ll just crack on with it for you! Smile

@inappropraiteraspberry it could well be a sign! I’ve been sick the last couple of days too but I’ve had sickness on and off all the way through, another thing I will be glad to see the back of!

Emcharlierush · 05/02/2018 11:38

So jealous @Kpo58 ! Good luck!

Absolutely nothing here still. Resigning myself to the fact that this baby probably isn’t going to come out unless she’s forced. This could be the longest 7-10 days of my life...

TriJo · 05/02/2018 12:02

Still in hospital, he's on IV antibiotics for an infection. I'm on day 8 here so going slightly mad at this stage!

Mrstobe90 · 05/02/2018 14:23

Good luck @Kpo58!! Keep us posted! :)

@TriJo hope you and the little one are doing ok xxx
