Hello Smile I'm 7 weeks and 4 days today and have had super sore nipples (this and fatigue have been my only symptoms really and just a dull sick feeling all day no actual sickness) and today I've woken up and my boobs feel completely normal and I'm a little worried as I had a loss last year and I'm terrified the same is going to happen and I'm analysing everything. I guess my question is, is it normal? Has anyone had this and gone on to a successful pregnancy? Thanks in advance x

Thinking of you @agteacht hope you are okay x

Hi ladies
I am still bleeding and cramping a bit today but it is nothing compared to yesterday. I feel so much better and can manage the pain.

The only thing that's really worrying me is if there is a repeat to come as there was still a sac visible on the scan and I believe that must be still there. So not sure what will happen now.

In any case I think I have to just acknowledge that this baby is most likely gone and there will be a next time. And if somehow there is a miracle on 25th when we go for the scan then I will be just overjoyed.

Thanks for your thoughts. I don't want to take away from your discussion so please keep going. I'll update you if anything significant happens between now and 25th, and otherwise I'll let you know the results x

jellybean218 · 17/01/2018 09:18

@agteacht I'm sat here with my fingers crossed hoping for good news on the 25th but if the worst happens we are all here for you Flowers in the mean time plenty of self love and care. Do you have good support at home? X

Hi ladies
I did a pregnancy test tonight and it's showing as negative so that's me out. Wishing you all so much luck with your journeys. I'll duck out from Mumsnet for a while and hopefully come back and see you in the not too distant future x

jellybean218 · 19/01/2018 08:54

@agteacht I'm so so sorry to hear that Sad I wish you all the best in the future and sending my love and hugs. Thanks x

@jellybean218 how are you? Are your symptoms still coming and going? My breast tenderness has pretty much disappeared today at 10 weeks. Hoping it’s not a bad sign. Is it normal for symptoms to fade in and out? Breasts always seem to feel a lot less sore in the morning so hopefully it’s just that.

Noonaylor · 24/01/2018 12:30

@hopingandprayingthistime there are lots of forums out there saying that lots of pregnancy symptoms come and go throughout pregnancy - including breast tenderness. A few I've seen are from years ago, which is actually quite reassuring as they go on to have healthy babies! So I think it's all very normal! Easier said then done, but I think we all need to not worry! I know that I am just waiting for my 12 scan as I still can't believe I am pregnant (9+6 atm).especially with symptoms disappearing! How far along are you?

Noonaylor · 24/01/2018 12:31

@hopingandprayingthistime sorry having a blonde moment you said you were 10 weeks!

hopingandprayingthistime · 24/01/2018 12:41

Thanks @Noonaylor looks like we’re pretty much at the same stage!

jellybean218 · 24/01/2018 13:31

Hey @hopingandprayingthistime I'm doing okay thanks hope you are well! I'm ten weeks today too. Erm my morning sickness has gone off the past two days, boobs are still sore but I have had cramping the past two days too but it seems to be later on in the day after work (doing a 7 day week this week :( ) so the cramps have worried me tbh but on my app it says at ten weeks you will have a little pain due to stretching but with the miscarriage last year I can't help but worry and think oh god it feels the same. Scan in 8 days though so I'm counting down! So both our symptoms are playing hide and seek! I've read so much lately that it's really normal so try not to worry too much and I'll do the same :') x

Thanks @jellybean218 happy 10 weeks! I read something that helped me: try to think that not that long ago there were no scans so women just had to have faith that everything was fine if there was no reason to think otherwise! So yes let’s try to keep positive! We have no reason to think anything is wrong. Your work sounds full on - try to take it easy at every little opportunity even if it’s just hiding in the loo for 5 mins every now and again! I keep getting tummy pains every now and again too. I suppose that must be normal given everything that’s going on in there at the moment! Fingers crossed for both of us x

jellybean218 · 24/01/2018 18:41

Thanks @hopingandprayingthistime Smile how far are you now? Similar to me if I remember right? It's getting exciting now ay! But yes I'm trying to think positive and that is a good way of thinking about it, it's crazy to think of a time when you just didn't have scans or due dates :') yeah I work in a nursing home so it's really full on, I do try to sit down if it gets too noticeable to me as it's more like a dull ache saying hey I'm here it's not too bad. When is your next scan? I count down the days :') x

hopingandprayingthistime · 24/01/2018 18:42

@jellybean218 I’m ten weeks today too exactly the same as you! I actually have a scan tomorrow Confused fingers crossed x

jellybean218 · 24/01/2018 19:48

Oh no way @hopingandprayingthistime ! Happy ten weeks to us both! And oh that's brill, let us know how it goes tomorrow and send a pic our way :D x

Okay so this morning my midwife text me back after I'd text her yesterday morning telling her about the cramps I'd had for three days and sickness dwindling off. I got a text back this morning "could be muscles, watch for bleeding" not much help at all really and hasn't made me feel any better :/ or am I just being sensitive? X

OP posts:
hopingandprayingthistime · 25/01/2018 10:24

@jellybean218 that is a bit business like, but I think meant to mean no bleeding = good sign = try not to worry. I hope you feel better soon xx

jellybean218 · 25/01/2018 14:59

Thanks @hopingandprayingthistime I just felt a bit left in the lurch like. Not even a we'll try not to worry Katie it may just be your muscles and what not, it was just very formal. I haven't had it today or yesterday so I'm trying to stay positing, still no feeling sick or anything xx

jellybean218 · 25/01/2018 17:02

Totally just realised I put my name on there haha but hey ho! X

OP posts:
hopingandprayingthistime · 25/01/2018 19:30

Haha! Don’t worry @jellybean218 at least it’s a very popular name so not revealing Wink...

I’m sorry the midwife wasn’t nicer about it. I think perhaps they see anxious mums to be asking about this sort of thing all the time and it’s all just work to them? Still, a bit more compassion and gentleness / kindness would be nice. Really hope everything is just fine for you and it’s just normal pregnancy twinges. Try not to worry as long as no severe pain or bleeding.

hopingandprayingthistime · 25/01/2018 19:31

P.s. scan looked good Smile (and barely any symptoms here either!)

Noonaylor · 25/01/2018 19:55

Yes I think your right @jellybean218 it was a bit business like but like hopingandprayingthistime said they probably get it A lot. If anything her brushing it off so quickly probably means everything is fine. @HOPINGANDPRAYINGTHISTIME that's so exciting about your scan! Oh Im still trying to stay strong and not get my scan until my one scheduled at 12 weeks.
Have any of you told anyone you are pregnant yet?? And when are you going to tell work?? X
