I was naive and didn't twig at the time but I had REALLY bloody sore boobs for a few weeks before it occurred to me to test. the week long nausea, tiredness and then throwing up in the street finally prompted me to test, but only after my mom pointed out that as I was trying I might be pregnant and should test. Genuinely didn't think I'd be lucky enough to be pregnant Blush

I felt strangely breathless when I went for a walk and had period type cramps for about 5 days before I was due on. Tested the day before P was due and there was that magical second line!

Mulch · 26/12/2017 08:55

Nails grew rapid, thought it was odd how frequently I had to cut them but never put two and two together

Kit1411 · 26/12/2017 08:56

Hi, Not the answer you’re after but I actually thought this was our month, I would’ve bet my bottom dollar on it. Felt what I thought was implantation on 7 dpo, had a cold and stuffy nose but not bad cold, heartburn, bleeding gums, mild cramps constantly, creamy Cm, blue veins on my right boob. But tested at 10/11dpo and BFN, I know that’s early but not going to bother testing again as I’m sure i must’ve been symptom spotting and just know I’m not now.

jusdepamplemousse · 26/12/2017 09:01

Boobs enlarge and change shape entirely from about 3+3. Dead giveaway for me - have known all three times I was pg super early because of it. So different for every woman though. Good luck!

PinkyPromise77 · 26/12/2017 09:25

Kit1411 is this recent? I heard some people are few days after their P is due with a negative and then suddenly turns positive. I think it’s because sometimes you may not produce enough hormones to be detected?

jusdepamplemousse sorry to sound silly but can you explain 3+3? Lol I have no idea what it means :)

I went off coffee in a big way. I'm 38 weeks and coffee is a severe trigger for sickness as I have hyperemesis. My husband smelt really foul. This was all about 4-5 days before missed period.

Mrstobe90 · 26/12/2017 09:43

I felt like I probably was but didn’t want to admit it incase I was wrong. I would’ve been devastated. So I kept telling myself I wasn’t and then I got my bfp!

Knittingteapot · 26/12/2017 09:50

I definitely knew this time. I have been pregnant 3 times before though so can recognise the feelings. Just a feeling to be honest, felt a bit queasy, some cramps and had a few light headed moments. Had a positive test a week ago when it should have been too early for a result, so I think I ovulated early. Now I'm feeling very sick, tired, back ache, cramps and thinking, "Another 9 months of this!" Best of luck!

HanSpan1 · 26/12/2017 10:10

I got my BFP 2 days ago, and honestly i had zero symptoms during the 2WW.

thinpigeon · 26/12/2017 10:49

I had what I thought were PMS symptoms - slight cramping, mood swings and headaches - but they started much earlier than usual. Usually only have a couple of days beforehand, this was over a week before I was due. Also, I had ridiculously dry skin on my legs which is not normal for me which made me wonder, but I've never come across that as a pregnancy symptom before!

BigBaboonBum · 26/12/2017 11:06

I had really sore boobs (and they became very veiny) and tailbone pain that was just the absolute worst, about a week before period was due! I didn’t know but I had hoped, as we were trying.
Last pregnancy I had no signs at all though before headaches/SPD/heartburn set in the second trimester, the one before I can’t remember if I had signs before hand because all I remember was being knocked out by hyperemisis for weeks!
All my pregnancies have been as different as they can possibly be from each other, but this is the only one that I can recall in which I’ve had a strong reaction before I’ve had a positive test

TheweewitchRoz · 26/12/2017 11:16

I felt very bloated & swollen from very early on - didn't think I could be pregnant at all so spent a lot of time exercising to try to get rid of the feeling. Only when it happened again in my 2nd & 3rd pregnancies did I realise that it was actually symptoms of pregnancy very early on.

Good luck - I hope you get the outcome you're wanting.

EmmaLou3422 · 26/12/2017 11:55

I had period pains, but the period never came for over a week. Decided to do a test and it was positive 😊

thaigreencurry82 · 26/12/2017 15:24

Symptom spotting and googling was driving me mad so I stopped and waited til I was 10 days overdue on my period. This is the most reliable sign.

jusdepamplemousse · 26/12/2017 16:14

Sorry - 3+3 means 3 weeks and 3 days pregnant - so about 4 days before period due.

PinkyPromise77 · 26/12/2017 16:44

Oh Thanks jusdepamplemousse... that’s really precise 😂 When do you start counting? Is it first day of your last period correct?

I cried at work twice in the space of a couple of days. And was badly constipated! I was tracking ovulation and these were new symptoms for me. Good luck!

hannknitted · 26/12/2017 17:38

I had no symptoms - or, at least, none that couldn't have been attributed to normal PMS / hormones / bodily quirks. I didn't try to symptom spot or second guess anything - tested the day my period was due and got a strong positive. Really noticeable symptoms (i.e. sickness and tiredness) didn't really start until a couple of weeks after that.

mrssmith1415 · 26/12/2017 18:01

With my first I had been having weird pains in my ribs and my sister told me to take a test. I was shell shocked to find I was pregnant! I was on the pill and periods were irregular anyway so who knows when I would’ve found out if I hadn’t humoured her.
Second baby was planned for and the day we went on our honeymoon I kept saying “I’m definitely pregnant, I can feel it” as I felt really lethargic and had waves of nausea at certain times of the day. The first test had a very very faint line that I felt was probably a negative, then tested a few days later and it came up straight away!

peachgreen · 26/12/2017 19:24

I've had two months where I just "knew"
I was pregnant. I wasn't. Both times I was pregnant I had no idea (despite trying) - in fact I was convinced I wasn't!

jusdepamplemousse · 26/12/2017 19:49

Yup first day of your period...so effectively you’re two weeks pregnant as soon as you get pregnant if that makes sense (it doesn’t but that’s what it is anyway...!).

Mol1628 · 26/12/2017 19:53

I knew. I had butterflies in my stomach from quite early on, before a test would have picked it up. Then the smell of warm food made me wretch.
All those things happened first pregnancy but I didn’t pick up on them so much. Second time I told my husband I was pregnant after a few days conceiving.

YouCantArgueWithStupid · 26/12/2017 20:00

We were trying but it was at the back of my mind as it was first cycle. Wasn't until I was sent home from work throwing up and when I called DH he suggested testing. I laughed and did POAS to placate him. Bugger me it was BFP

RaeSkywalker · 26/12/2017 20:09

We were on (what was planned as) an active, walking holiday- and I just had zero energy. DH dragged me on a 4 mile walk one day, and I could’ve cried. I also felt low-level nauseous the whole time- this developed into full-blown HG within a week of the BFP.
