They've gone to 2 week apart these last 2 ones but when my next one was due 2 week today I have a scan the day after.

I've never been one for drinking lots but since I've been pregnant I can't quench my thirst

mrsjkerry · 04/10/2017 19:21

Yes I am finishing work at half term. Two weeks. Can’t wait 🙏🏻

EmmaLou3422 · 04/10/2017 21:00

Hi everyone, first time for me too! I'm 15+3 and I'm worried about literally everything. 20 week scan coming up and making me anxious, I was want to know everything is ok, driving myself mad!

Pranpreeya157D · 04/10/2017 21:14

Tighten belly at 30 weeks!! Should I be worried?
Hi all the experiences mom please help, I am freak out as in the past few day I start to see and notice my belly is getting really tight and hard sometime wired shape !! It's actually quite painfull tho, is this a braxton hick or what is it? Or just a baby being so active and changing position? Most of tge time s is one the side , sometime is on the top, bottom etc....should I be worried?

mrsjkerry · 04/10/2017 23:23

@Pranpreeya157D sounds like either baby moving or BH. Mention it to your midwife at your next appnt. I get all sorts of funny shapes and pains. Nothing to worry about. You’ll know if you were having real contractions.

Thank you,mrsjkerry
Omg!! I can't imagine when the real contractions actually comesConfused

Missonhartbaby · 05/10/2017 10:42

@Pranpreeya157D Yea sounds like he's just moving to be fair, my little man is always pushing himself out against my belly which makes it hard and painful and then he'll wriggle around again to a better position. Or it's braxton hicks which I haven't experienced but heard it's normal to have them from as early as 24 weeks :)

Missonhartbaby · 05/10/2017 10:45

@EmmaLou3422
Welcome to the groups and congrats! I know I felt quite anxious in between scans untill I had my 20 week one, pretty sure it's normal! But try to relax about everything, being too stressed isn't good for baba either :)

TheLionQueen1 · 05/10/2017 12:06

Ahh pessary in, induction process started! Can't believe this is actually happening now!

ew1990 · 05/10/2017 12:30

@TheLionQueen1 good luck 😊 keep us updated xx

TheLionQueen1 · 05/10/2017 12:31

Thanks @ew1990 will do, am going to go for a wonder and stuff and try and keep on my feet, hoping it'll force him out sooner!!

IrnBruCraver · 05/10/2017 12:32

Good luck @TheLionQueen1 !

Missonhartbaby · 05/10/2017 12:33

Good luck @TheLionQueen1 so excited for you!

EmmaLou3422 · 05/10/2017 13:02

@missonhartbaby thanks for replying, I suffer from anxiety so finding it hard to relax. I think once I have the scan I will start to chill out, until it comes to being in labour lol.

ew1990 · 05/10/2017 13:27

@EmmaLou3422 I agree, I'm starting to get nervous about labour now! 😬😬

Missonhartbaby · 05/10/2017 13:43

I'm weirdly not nervous about labour... Don't think itl hit me untill it actually starts happening!! Yea once you've had the 20 wk scan you kinda know then that everything's OK and your little one is there to stay :)

ew1990 · 05/10/2017 14:18

Although when I had to go hospital for reduced movements it was terrifying, I don't think you ever stop worrying deep down till they are grown adults! 😂

Bobbiepin · 05/10/2017 14:55

EmmaLou you're a parent now, you'll never stop worrying! There'll always be something, the best thing is to try and let go and go with the flow.

@Thelionqueen1 got fingers crossed for an easy birth for you. Keep us in the loop.

ValentineFizz · 05/10/2017 14:56

Best wishes @LionQueen1, l am so excited for you!

TheLionQueen1 · 05/10/2017 15:28

Thanks all! Just got period type pains at the moment, but he said that was normal after pessary, fingers crossed happens naturally and don't have to be reassessed tomorrow. Next step is called a cook balloon and it doesn't look too fun!!!

lydiangel83 · 05/10/2017 15:52

Ahh good luck @TheLionQueen1 that is exciting! I’m hoping you don’t need the balloon, not sure what it is but can imagine!! Keep us updated and good luck - you’ll be fabulous :-)

roguenation · 05/10/2017 19:35

Hi Everyone!

Only just seen this thread and thought I'd join in ☺️

I'm 11 weeks this Saturday with my first! eek still can't believe it, I've been incredibly lucky in the sense where I have only had about 2 days of sickness so far and thats it, so I'm hoping that's all I get for morning sickness.

I had an early scan at 8 weeks to make sure there was only 1 baby (as DH and I both have twins in our family) and also to make sure everything was progressing well as I haven't had any symptoms. All is fine thankfully and we've got another scan on Saturday to go to, so we are really excited!

Is anyone finding that they are getting treated differently at work now since telling their employer?

IrnBruCraver · 05/10/2017 19:46

Ooh my dad is a fraternal twin, I might consider an 8 week scan myself!
