@mrsjkerry mine went from my back to my stomach then into my back again when she went back to back.

It is unbearable. It doesn’t come in waves or surges or peak it just feels like someone is twisting everything I my back.

I don’t think I can go back in. Contractions aren’t really there or regular and at 8am this morning cervix still far back and closed. What can i do

Have you got your tens machine yet? Put that on ASAP.

If it is unbearable, you do not have to put up with it. Ring back the ward and ask them what they suggest. Thinking of you: you WILL do this and it will be worth it. It cannot last forever so every minute is closer to the end

Yes I have tens machine. Not doing much. I haven’t slept now for more than a few minutes since Wednesday night.

What do you mean I don’t have to put up with it? What can they do?

No advice @mrsjkerry but just wanted to say good luck! Have you called them and told them all you've said? Maybe they could get you in just to give you drugs to make the pain more manageable if nothing else? X

I'm in so much pain, called the birthing centre and they won't see me until I'm 3 mins apart, I'm 5 mins right now. We live 20 mins away 😢

@mrsjkerry l felt most of my labour pains in my back and the only thing which helped was a warm bath, not sure if you've tried this or not but it's the only thing l can suggest to help..... Will be thinking of you.....

The pains ramped up to 1-2 mins so we went in. Fully effaced and 4 cm so I'm staying in. Good luck and see you all on the other side :)

I've got what I can only describe as nearly constant lightning crotch with light 'period pain' and backache again, he's flailing around in there too! Seems to be a nightly thing now!

I'm now one week postpartum and feeling much more like myself, doesn't sting to wee as bad as before and am able to empty my bladder fully without feeling like I'm going to die. Third we have tried the hot water bottle and it does seem to help a bit, will persevere!

I really feel for you @mrsjkerry I found out Sophie is back to back too, and that's why my back pain is agonising.
When I went in for an assessment they mentioned codine to take, but then they kept me in instead.

I hope you won't be suffering too long, I'm looking forward to seeing that you've had your little one, especially since we share a due date!

Currently getting buzzed on gas and air (it's wonderful). I'm not good with needles though, when she put my canula in for the epidural, I vomited and pissed at the same time. Isn't pregnancy wonderful

My waters have gone and 2cm dilated. They are suggesting I go home 😩

@mrsjkerry surely since your waters have gone you need to be delivered within 24 hours? :o

Yes they’ve booked me an induction for 8pm tonight if nothing happens before then. Praying she comes soon

How are you feeling now @mrsjkerry? I’m glad you went in, not least for proof that all the discomfort was actually doing something! How are you getting on?

Still 6cm here, they broke my waters and I went crazy on codine, currently hooked to the epidural and I am in heaven :)
