Yay, Charlie!

WonderfullySunny · 25/08/2017 02:00

@charlie0692 that's fantastic news and reassuring for you! Did you get any nice pictures to take away with you?
Getting up to pee in the middle of the night and then not getting back to sleep officially sucks!!!

IslingtonHels · 25/08/2017 07:06

Congratulations @Charlie0692. Really pleased for you. Flowers
Hating my anxiety today. Scan is not until Tuesday & I have been awake since 2am worrying. Got to go to work now and feeling so tired.
Wishing everyone a relaxing and positive Bank Holiday weekend.

charlie0692 · 25/08/2017 07:45

Thank you ☺ feel so much better now! Yes they took 5 pictures but you can't really make anything out. Looks like a cute little blob ha so so pleased though. Wishing you luck for your scan next week @IslingtonHels

FourForYouGlenCoco · 25/08/2017 08:29

Charlie that's fab news!
Welcome to the newbies Smile and congratulations!
6 weeks on Sunday here and the nausea is kicking in a bit more. Have completely gone off sweet stuff and coffee is now making me feel bokey, noooo Shock I'm down to 2 cups a day but massively addicted and not sure how I'll function if I can't drink it at all any more! Going to ring mw next week and try and wrangle an early scan through her, and book a private one if not. Am further than I ever expected to be, but it feels like such a long way to go still. Just really want to know that there's an actual baby in there!

Bettabye267 · 25/08/2017 10:29

Sorry about been a bit late posting it was my daughters 3rd birthday yesterday too, hospital done bloods n they have over doubled witch is great but scanned and they couldn't see nothing so done another internal and they found a sack but couldn't see nothing in so still at high risk of eptopic back in on Wednesday for the same process to be repeated xxxx

charlie0692 · 25/08/2017 10:52

So sorry to hear that @dmc23 but stay positive!! Xx

dmc23 · 25/08/2017 10:59

Thankyou @charlie0692 I'm trying the kids I have got are keeping me going x

Shanners123 · 25/08/2017 11:55

Keep the faith @dmc! The doubling has got to be good news? Fx

@charlie that's amazing, I'm a day ahead of you so living through you until my scan date 😂

Still haven't heard anything. Just called GP surgery who said the hosp will arrange an apt with me when I'm between 10-12 weeks for a scan, so I've between 3-5 weeks to wait! Don't mind, but I think it will only become real when we have that scan!

Mild nausea here but generally I find if I eat every few hours I'm okay. Had a couple of cups of normal tea on Sunday as was with extended family and didn't want to raise suspicions but couldn't sleep a wink that night! I've obviously lost my tolerance to caffeine. Also tired still. Can barely find energy to do anything after work.. Makes me feel guilty and lazy.

Also find myself Flipping from being happy to the smallest comment or thought setting me off in a rage! Blooming hormones. My partner is not enjoying living with a hormonal mess! Anyone relate?

Hi everyone. Can i jump in? Due 20th April and according to my LMP I was 6 weeks yesterday. Anyone else not really got any symptoms? Congrats everyone.

GlitterRollerSkate · 25/08/2017 16:31

@Charlie0692 congratulations Smile

@dmc23 sorry to hear that. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome for you.

Welcome to the newcomers (as I have been here since yesterday and am no longer new Grin)

I'm pretty sure I am already hormonal my poor poor husband! And still very very hungry!

coastalchick · 25/08/2017 16:42

hey ladies

am on the march 2018 thread too - by LMP should be due 29 march, but after an early scan at 6 weeks got pushed back to 10 april! So will post here too if you don't mind?

Hating the nausea. Was in pets at home before, and it was hot and the bloke was taking AGES to serve the 2 people in front of me - chatting away. I was feeling sicker and sicker. When I got to till he asked if I had a membership card or something and just snapped at him "no, and I don't want one either". Then I said, sorry, I've just got awful morning sickness. Hoofed way round supermarket feeling sick too!

We are supposed to be going out for dinner tonight but think am gonna see if OH will get take away instead - feel SO rough!!!! Had to work from home weds (thankfully wasn't at work today) as was being sick!!!!

ally62442 · 25/08/2017 18:57

I'm away camping at the mo. So haven't been keeping up with the thread over the last two days. Welcome all the newbies!!

Please could someone sew my mouth shut so I stop bloody eating!!!

HarryHarry · 25/08/2017 18:59

7 weeks tomorrow and the MS has just kicked in, can't even brush my teeth without gagging, but painfully hungry at the same time. I have a 9 hr flight on Sunday and I'm dreading it. Hope everyone else is doing OK x

ScarletSienna · 25/08/2017 19:08

Can't stop eating sweet things 😬

lisara79 · 25/08/2017 19:46

Hi All... Welcome Newbies.... anyone else having an irritation overload. I seem to be irritated with everyone and everything... I can't help it... usually I'm very easy going.

Loosemoose28 · 25/08/2017 19:57

Has anyone had days where you just dont feel pregnanr for a day?

My right boob is still a bit tender but I just feel normal today.

WonderfullySunny · 25/08/2017 20:31

@lisara79 I had an almost zero patience threshold the other day I even scared myself! Today I'm feeling like the world is going to end and I keep crying, so yup to the out of character moods!!

@Loosemoose28 I did POAS two days ago for exactly that reason. The only continuous symptom I've had so far is being woken up needing to pee!

@HarryHarry could you try one of those anti nausea wrist bands for the flight? I have a friend who gets travel sick at the drop of a hat and she swears by them, might be worth a look.

FairfaxAikman · 25/08/2017 20:42

I'm bleeding slightly Sad

lisara79 · 25/08/2017 20:45

@fairfaxaikeman Try not to think the worst... can you contact your local early pregnancy unit... they might be able to reassure you x

CaffeineBomb · 25/08/2017 21:10

@fairfaxaikeman try not to worry bleeding is relatively common in early pregnancy and not always in indication that something is wrong but it would be worth seeing a gp (even if ooh tomorrow) to see if you can get a referral to the early pregnancy to put your mind at rest xx

PurpleFuschia4 · 25/08/2017 21:19

Evening all,

Plucked up the courage to post after having a good old look around. So I'm about 7 weeks and this is my first so all brand new and very surreal. Symptoms so far: mild nausea, cramps (started wednesday) sore breasts and extreme tiredness.

Also my head is in the clouds - I can't concentrate for very long and earlier I rang to change my booking appointment to be a week earlier, so during my annual leave, but have since remembered I will be on a flight back from gran canaria doh!! Grin anyone else not know their head from their ... you know, at the moment???

FairfaxAikman · 25/08/2017 21:24

We don't have an epu as such. Have called NHS24, in part because I'm on Metronisodol gel for suspected BV and I need to know if I should continue the course

ScarletSienna · 25/08/2017 21:45

Hope NHS24 can point you in a helpful direction Fairfax.
