30 weeks and so miserable

I'm officially over being pregnant. Everything aches, I feel so big and stretched (I know I will only get bigger!) it's hard to breathe, I feel overwhelmed at the idea of working for another 8 weeks, my hands and feet are swollen, not sleeping well at all now (waking up for a wee about 5 times a night, plus hip pain and leg cramp), can't be bothered to eat anything that isn't cereal or cheese (am trying though), just generally fucked off.

My husband has been incredible throughout the whole pregnancy, looking after me and the house and just generally being wonderful. I have been a big bag of whinge.

Don't really have a point to this post other than a little whinge.

I'm also 30 weeks and a bit over it now! I think these last few weeks will fly by tho

Just feel like a fat waddling huffing and puffing winging cow at the mo, you're not alone!!

ememem84 · 02/08/2017 07:17

I hear you!!

31+6 here today. Not long left (so everyone seems to be reminding me!). Im lucky that I've had minimal issues so far - no pain etc. But my god am I tired now. And I can't get comfy in bed. And it takes about 4 hours to roll over in bed. And I have to pee all the goddam time.

and my belly button is threatening to pop out

Dh has been awesome. Super supportive but not fussed me or treated me like I'm made of glass. He's let me get on with things and has provided support/a sounding board/food as and when needed. Even after the "cake rage" the other day (I left it too late in the evening to bake a birthday cake, was advised to not and just buy one, did it anyway, didn't let it cool enough, filling and frosting slipped out/off. I swore at it and cried. Obviously all dhs fault...)

Mandraki · 02/08/2017 07:32

Ladies ❤️Flowers Yes to taking hours to roll over in bed too!

I'm the same OP. A big whinge bag. In fairness this pregnancy has been "the worst pregnancy anyone could have" in the words of my mum! I feel like My body has only just managed at the expense of my mental health. 4 weeks left to go. I pray baby is punctual!

I'm lucky too, my partner has been beyond supportive. But it may just be down to fear of me. I bet he can't wait to have his old girlfriend back!

We can do this. We have no choice!

Bumdishcloths · 02/08/2017 07:43

Omg OP are you me? I could've written this yesterday after crying over a potato (long story) 😂

Bumdishcloths · 02/08/2017 07:44

Also amen to the shitty hip pain. It blows.

xflipflopx · 02/08/2017 07:58

Feeling your pain too ladies Flowers
28 weeks and two kids off for school holidays...every day feels like a week at the moment.
We will/can do this and it'll all be a distant memory.
On the other hand got midwife appt today and the kids will be able to hear heartbeat...hopefully they are interested!
Smile

mummabubs · 02/08/2017 08:01

Also 30 weeks and starting to wish time away til the end. We had to have a growth scan on Monday as I measured 3 weeks behind at midwife appointment, only to find out on the scan that the head measurement is actually 1.5 weeks ahead... my immediate gleeful thought was "maybe this means they'll come sooner"... followed quickly by the dread of having to push a larger than average head out of my hoo hah.

Completely feeling you OP, I'm still throwing up bile 4 or 5 days a week, sleep is a nightmare, I feel massive and am getting frustrated that I can't do anything at my usual speed without feeling tired. I've thankfully managed to avoid hip pain so far but the back pain more than makes up it. My only saving grace is that I've been signed off from work until my annual leave was due to kick in before mat leave starts on my due date so that's at least taken a long commute and stressful working environment out of my life. We will get there eventually! Xx

AgentCooper · 02/08/2017 08:03

Love and sympathy to all Flowers I'm 29 weeks, got chub rub under my boobs, every time I stand up it's like a killer whale rolling over, I'm just bloody knackered and sick of my commute to work and I nearly cried there because the bin stinks and it made me dry heave.

Mandraki · 02/08/2017 08:10

Bumdishcloths please tell us the story of the potato! I need to know. I haven't done much crying in pregnancy, though thought I would, had more rage than tears haha! I have been a delight.

Sorry you're all miserable too but I am secretly glad not to be on my own.

Misery loves company....

I've been really good at trying to hold it all together. Especially at work where people are being fucktards I've got 6 weeks left and everyone is on holiday at once. Sigh.

We can do this.

Then the fun starts....

MissBax · 02/08/2017 08:19

I felt really fed up around the 30 week mark myself OP (36+4 now), and other than bad back at night I don't feel as stressed as I did. I stopped work at 34 weeks - was meant to go till 38 myself and I'm so glad I took it early. Can you finish work earlier than 38?

AgentCooper · 02/08/2017 08:23

This is really therapeutic actually Grin em my work is a bloody nightmare too. I work in support at a uni, all the lecturers have fucked off without putting their out of offices on so we have shitloads to organise for the new term and nobody to ask. And you know they'll all have plenty to say about it when they get back the day before term starts...

And I have a colleague beside me who is a nice person but is LOUD and constantly interrupting me. Feel like I get fuck all done and I need to get stuff done before I go!

And I am sick of dragging myself to the end of the train platform in the hope of a seat every day just for folk to push in front of me when the doors open Angry

krakentoast · 02/08/2017 08:31

Snap! 30 weeks here too and not getting any sleep due to heartburn, hip pain, needing to pee etc. I will slap the next person who says "Enjoy as much sleep as you can now, because when the baby comes..." - the baby is already here, effectively, stopping me sleeping!

I am also only eating cereal and cheese. The baby is going to come out made of cheese.

confusedat23 · 02/08/2017 09:09

Can I join?

I feel bad moaning as only 28 weeks on Friday Blush

Had restless legs since BFP so now it is getting very very old! Adding to this I have developed prickly heat in patches on my feet and legs (I could literally rip my skin off!

To top it all off I have felt really embarassed in my body this whole pregnancy and people have been really kind saying I look great and that I am carrying all out front etc... Only to have a growth scan and find out the baby is a whole LB!!!!!!! bigger than he is meant to be at the moment and people now going well I did think you looked a bit big Sad

How the hell am I meant to work 50 hours a week for the next 10 weeks and why are the hospital so crap at booking antenatal appts that I still have the aggonisisng 4 weeks wait between them!!

Mandraki · 02/08/2017 10:24

This is all very therapeutic! Can I also add that I haven't seen my fanny in weeks but I can feel it's Amazonian, this is the worst bit. Well maybe not but it's quite upsetting!

OP posts:
AgentCooper · 02/08/2017 11:06

Oh I feel for you confused Flowers Everyone has something to say about our bumps, don't feel embarrassed.

If it's not 'are you sure you don't have triplets in there?' or 'I was never as big as you' or 'you're awful big for xx weeks' (the latter from BIL who of course has carried plenty of babies himself Confused)...

Then it's 'you're looking a bit small, is everything OK?'

How in the name of God can you be both at once?!

BentleyBelly · 02/08/2017 11:20

Hahaha join the club. 30+2, fat, grumpy and uncomfortable. This is my second and last child...I cannot do pregnancy again. I hated it first time too. Its a boy this time and completely different, I am a different shape and his movements are more uncomfortable...don't think he is going to be as chilled out as his sister was and still is. I finish work in 4 weeks and can't wait!

BentleyBelly · 02/08/2017 11:24

Something that helps....yoga classes. The 1.5 hrs i did last night was bliss, especially the relaxation bit at the end. I always sleep better on Tues nights and my mood is better on Wed. I am definately at my worst Sun/Mon.

Dede124 · 02/08/2017 11:31

Just hit 30 weeks and feel like it's never going to end... the thought of another 10 weeks makes me feel ill Envy I feel trapped in my own body I want my body back Shock I actually dread going upstairs because it's such hard work. I can't even have a bath anymore with dp being there to get me out. I can't sleep properly from going to the toilet about 50 times arghhhhh so much to do and zero energy!!!!

30 weeks and so miserable
mummabubs · 02/08/2017 11:34

Haha oh my life this is just fuelling me further!! 😂 In addition to what I've already said: YES to heartburn/acid reflux, YES to the comments re sleep because I'm also not getting any sleep now and if one more person tells me I look like I'm expecting twins or touches my bump without asking violence may ensue. (I promise I was very mild mannered before pregnancy!)

Also I haven't been able to see my hoo hah in a couple of months so I've taken to using my electric razor with bikini attachment and just hoping I'm getting most of the inevitable jungle 😂🙈 Pregnancy is so glamorous isn't it!!

Bobbiepin · 02/08/2017 11:36

Someone at a family gathering (very kindly) told me I was glowing. Before I could thank them someone else butted in and said "no she's just sweaty".

Almost 28 weeks and I'm so ready for her to be born.

BentleyBelly · 02/08/2017 11:41

As for once I am in a better mood....lets think of some positives...my hair and nails are looking great and will break off and fall out in clumps once baby is born Grin Grin

user1497695727 · 02/08/2017 11:45

OMG I thought I was the only person who felt like this. 31 weeks and everyone around me "loved" being pregnant and can't understand why I hate it 😂 (I have come to the conclusion that these people did not have a life before pregnancy) also been feeling really out of breath but recently got the results of some blood tests back and I am borderline anaemic and getting some iron tablets so that might be worth looking into OP especially if your surviving of cereal and cheese

confusedat23 · 02/08/2017 11:49

Oh OP i'm the same as Mumma in that my electric bikini shaver is being used to hack at the amazon sized forrest that has grown!... i tried to sit infront of the mirror to do it the other day only for my legs to get so tired i got stuck on the floor! 🙈

Bobbie that is savage!

Thanks for the support Agent i really bloated for the first 20 odd weeks as baby used the favour the lower half of my womb so struggled with that and now i seem to spend some days looking like a beached whale and others looking a nice shape! Lol

Also he is head down and very far down into my pelvis (during growth scan she was deep in the amazon with the scanner thing!) and hos favourite game is to make mummy almost pee herself by pushing down so hard she needs to wee but can't actually walk!! 😂
