Don't know if this helps, says it could be very early labour signs... Happens a few days before actually labour. If so good luck!!

Thanks Bobbie
They're both doing ok. They were good.weights for 32+3 Twin1 was 4lb5 and twin2 was 3lb8 both have regained their birth weight a week ago and are continuing to gain

Flatwhite31 · 05/09/2017 16:42

Really happy for you @MistyBxx xxxx

Bobbiepin · 05/09/2017 17:42

@msh it must be so worrying though. Any idea when they can come home?

MSH2010 · 05/09/2017 18:28

Unfortunately they are having their feeds via tubes. Twin 2 has started taking bottles of expressed milk but twin 1 is struggling so got someone coming to see us tomorrow.
I've had a moan today as feel like everyone is ignoring me yet I'm the only mum that's on the ward all day 8.15am til 5pm
I don't leave their sides.
I just want them home.
I know I'm not expressing enough to fully feed the pair of them. But part if it's stress from being in their and there's other options available other than donor milk that I'm willing to do. But like I say no one talks.
It's certainly making my first time mum experience a murky one 😭

mummyGof2boys · 05/09/2017 19:01

@preggers17 do you get the dihorrea when you have the tightenings? If so this is a big song of labour. Every contraction I had in full blown labour I had to run to the toilet. The nausea unfortunately could just be a Pregnancy symptom at your stage. How you feeling?

Congratulations @MSH2010 they are fab weights for being early. My first was 35 weeks and was 4lb13. I hope they speech and language therapist can help twin 2 with feeding. Have you found a premature forum? Also team Bliss is an amazing charity that help with support, maybe contact them.

preggers17 · 05/09/2017 19:04

Yes I do get the dihorrea when I get the tightening it is very uncomfortable but there is no sign of the show or waters breaking I get the sick feeling at the same time

mummyGof2boys · 05/09/2017 19:09

My waters broke first so not sure about that. Could be early labour but also could be a sickness bug. I know there are a lot going about just now. I would call the maternity unit and see what they say xx

preggers17 · 05/09/2017 19:27

OK hun thank u for ur advice

MistyBxx · 05/09/2017 20:03

Oh thank you @Flatwhite31 been thinking about you chicky, hope you're ok 💕xx

NC1990 · 05/09/2017 20:04

Hope you're all well and congrats to those who've just got their BFPs! Must be so surreal to have your little ones here MSH, hopefully you get them home soon. Congrats Misty, a lovely little girl ☺️

I'm a bit crap at keeping up with this thread Grin We went for a growth scan today to see the baby and check all ok, had it booked for ages and was worried it would make me anxious but I'm so pleased we went. All measurements were bang on and everything looks good (at our 20-week scan the FL was on the small side which sent me into a panic but it's now caught up). She's on the 51st centile overall (for now!).

I had physio yesterday and feeling very sore today, hoping this is normal? Feel like I've been run over 😥

preggers17 · 05/09/2017 20:15

I am very concerned

mummyGof2boys · 05/09/2017 20:34

Preggers if you are concerned you really need to call the hospital or go in.

preggers17 · 05/09/2017 20:46

I c my midwife tomorrow afternoon I will see what she says

Bobbiepin · 05/09/2017 20:47

@msh is there a nurse or someone you see all the time? Or someone else you can express your concerns to? Often doctors get so busy and caught uo with stuff they are shit at communicating and need a kick up the bum for it. I second the preemie boards, they probably have more practical advise than us well meaning (but probably fairly useless) strangers. If anything we're always here for a hand hold. They'll make it home soon enough, one day you'll look back on this time and be amazed how far they'll have come x

Marijon · 05/09/2017 22:38

Hi all, I'm new here so sorry if I've posted in the wrong place. Scared witless at the moment - 5wks pregnant with my first, and a little spotting appeared four days ago. Went on till yesterday morning, and the doc said it was normal. But tonight I'm bleeding more- still not period-like but heavier than spotting and bright red blood. Terrified of having a miscarriage or something being wrong. Anyone else experience this?

lydiangel83 · 06/09/2017 06:46

Aww @MSH2010 that sounds tough and you're totally right to make a fuss, don't let them forget about you as you need support, advice and a plan to get the bubbas home! Xx

Flatwhite31 · 06/09/2017 07:40

Struggling @MistyBxx as I'm still bleeding and getting positive tests with no baby. Royal Baby 3 is a kick in the teeth as well, couldn't care less when I can't even hang on to my first.

Flatwhite31 · 06/09/2017 07:41

@MSH2010 thinking of you and your gorgeous twins. Xx

MistyBxx · 06/09/2017 08:54

Ohhhh that's the worst @Flatwhite31 it feels like it's never ending doesn't it. I know it's hard but try not to do any more tests. It just makes things feel all the more hideous, your hormones take a while to settle and as you say, nothing worst than seeing that bfp when you know what you know. Don't ever beat yourself up for feeling down though, you're not on a timescale and don't put any pressure on yourself to bounce back and suddenly be fine, it's your own pace, always. And as for the royals... pfffff they are essentially just another unemployed family pumping out babies at the taxpayers expense lol nothing special there 😏 don't even compare yourself to anyone else, her body is no different to yours, it's just fate and timing as we all know. I promise you'll feel better soon lovely girl, maybe not yet, but you will. Once the bleeding stops, it will be like a cloud has lifted a little. Then your cycle will soon get back to normal. I only had one period in between before I caught again. your body is ready for a baby, just look at how many hormones are still there, it's trying its best. When it happened to me, my cousin put it well... you spend all these years trying NOT to get pg and then when it happens, it's something so obscure and different, your body is like "hmmm... what is this?!? Doesn't feel right! Nope, don't like it!" But then when it happens again, those hormones will return and every cell in your body will be like "hmmm I recognise this feeling... it's not so bad after all!" Keep me posted hun and you take care of yourself xx

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 06/09/2017 09:20

so apparently i am now consultant led! always been told that i was midwife led.. until i received an appointment in the post yesterday!

anyone else consultant led?

lydiangel83 · 06/09/2017 14:17

Awww @Flatwhite31 I'm sorry :-( wishing you all the best xxx

SunyBay · 06/09/2017 17:02

Oh @Flatwhite31 that sound ghastly. I'm so sorry.

So, I had my scan today. Baby is fine. Curled up and doing twists. Lovely little heartbeat. (Due to not many symptoms, I had been worried.)

The sonographer had trouble taking a measurement because it was curled up so much, but what she did take tied in my EDD (I know exactly when my last period was, so I figured it'd be close). They've moved my due date one day to the 22nd March.

Couldn't get an NT measurement either, because the baby was cosied up to the uterus, so I've got have the blood test done at 15 weeks (just when I'm meeting up with midwife anyway).

Happy to know it's not all in my imagination! And glad we can tell people now! (Of course, everyone's going to mention Kate's baby now too.)

Missonhartbaby · 08/09/2017 15:04

@mistyb that was such lovely advice :) and @flatwhite I'm wishing you all the best, stay strong and it'll happen for you at the right time I'm sure!

@sunybay that's all such good news!

@victoriaaaa I was consultant led initially because I am on anti depressants so they just wanted to check everything was OK, I'm now back on midwife led as it's all fine, so it may be your on some kind of medication and they are just assessing it for now :)
