Great news brenna and mogul. 😃

Harriet thanks! I've had no more this afternoon, so just going to assume everything is ok. Not much more I can do right now. So glad you're feeling a bit better.

NoParticularPattern · 04/08/2017 18:56

Just popped by for a check in and did a proper girly squeal for Brenna and Mogul!! Such fab news!!

I am now officially 14 weeks and into the second trimester!! Woo hoo!! Today I have eaten half a dozen apples and half of an army family sized cottage pie. It feels very weird to want to eat an apple- I normally hate the damned things because the skin gets between my teeth! I'm thinking about trying to reduce the anti sickness meds perhaps? I just don't want to feel unbearably shit again. Anyway yay for the good scans and yay for second trimester!!

rider1975 · 04/08/2017 19:52

Brilliant scans - congrats ladies. Always so nerve racking !
Dancing that's worrying but I've only heard from threads that brown blood is nothing to worry about. Understandly concerning though.
Started a weeks holiday here - going to my folks for tlc and long sleeps. Soooooo joyous I can't tell you Grin

I'm struggling to keep up on here this week, we've had loads on with the boys as we've both had the week off work, it's been non stop. Hope I've not missed too mich, seen some scan pics above :) glad they went well

AmyB1986 · 04/08/2017 22:13

@Brenna24 your scan looks fab so pleased for you!

@mogulfield your scan also looks great!

Happy news!!

Brenna24 · 04/08/2017 22:28

Thank you all. Flowers and thank you for being here. It was a long journey to get here.

Sweetyboo · 04/08/2017 23:25

Lifeofpies · 05/08/2017 09:36

Sorry, not quite ready to stop looking at this thread...wanted to say congratulations to mogul and Brenna - what wondeful scans Flowers

Miami81 · 05/08/2017 09:42

How are you pies? I hope everything went as well as it could on Friday. FlowersFlowers

Lifeofpies · 05/08/2017 10:04

Thanks Miami, I'm ok I guess. Found it a lot harder emotionally this time, it all happened so fast. The op went well though and I'm hardly bleeding now. DH is being great and friends have taken DS out for the day today. I've just ordered 'it starts with the egg'. So you know, focus on the practical... My aim is to be back on the thread before all of the current folk have their babies! Thanks so much for asking. Thinking of you all XXX

Miami81 · 05/08/2017 10:53

Pies I am glad it was as medically ok as it could be. I got that book. I found it really helpful to have something to try to do rather then just crossing my fingers and wishing for a good outcome. No idea if it made any difference or if it is all just random but as I say having a plan helped. All the best and I hope we see you back here soon.

TeaAndPjs · 05/08/2017 11:04

lifeofpies I hope you're doing ok xx

itsgoingtoofast · 05/08/2017 11:10

Great news Mogul and Brenna!

Pies I'm glad that Friday went to plan, and that you are recovering. Take care Flowers

Brenna24 · 05/08/2017 11:22

Flowers Pies. I am glad Friday went as well as it could. Hugs.

pies that's good the bleeding isn't too bad already, I hope you have a quick recovery and are back here with good news soon!
Thanks for all the lovely messages- I've been through such a rollercoaster these last few weeks! You ladies further along give me hope Smile

Lifeofpies · 05/08/2017 19:06

Thanks so much lovely people Flowers you all give me hope. I'll take a look at that book utter, thanks for suggesting Xx

thisismadness77 · 05/08/2017 21:42

Pies do you need to leave? Don't feel you do, I've just realised the thread title and I'm not pg yet oops Xx

Lifeofpies · 06/08/2017 08:00

It's all good thisismadness - I'm sure I'll lurk to see how people are doing, but there is a ttc after mc thread on the conception board that I'll join when I'm ready. Have you seen it?

mogulfield · 06/08/2017 09:21

Nobody needs to leave, we're all in the same boat but different stages/outcomes! The thing is we've all been through miscarriages so all understand each other, that's what really helped me here rather than people being in the exact same current circumstance, iyswim.
brenna do you finally feel a bit more relaxed now you're at 12 weeks safely?! I'm 12 weeks on Tuesday and am hoping Il start to feel less worried!

FuzzyOwl · 06/08/2017 10:03

That is great news Mogul and Brenna.

Pies I'm glad that Friday went as well as it could under the circumstances. Do stay on the thread anyway but I really hope to see you posting with your sticky BFP before long.

Brenna24 · 06/08/2017 10:07

Don't feel you have to leave Pies or Madness. You are more than welcome here (and hopefully will be rejoining the ranks again soon). We have all been at your stage of the process too. Although the ttc after mc is also a good thread with lots of info. Stay on both.

I think once I reach 15 or 16 weeks I might feel more relaxed Mogul. I know people who have had losses at 13 and 14 weeks, so not that relaxed yet (I also had a friend lose a baby at 18 weeks due tot he cord getting wrapped around baby's neck - the whole thing just seems too fragile).

DancingUnicorn · 06/08/2017 11:09

Brenna it's so hard when you know people who've had that experience, but it is really pretty rare for things like that to happen. Obviously, no less devastating to your friend, but I hope you are able to find a way to relax. ❤️ (not as if I can talk!!)

rider1975 · 06/08/2017 12:52

Dancing how are you getting on?
My mum showed me a knitting pattern for the baby and asked me about names. I'm glad that she's getting excited but at less than 10 weeks she's going where I don't dare
