lifeofpies im so so Sorry! I have no words! I hope you've got lots of support round you. Sending hugs ♡

WLMcI · 03/08/2017 21:18

Welcome Perpetual, both congratulations on your pregnancy, and I'm so sorry for your losses. You must have suffered so much and I admire your resilience! I know it's a roller coaster, but fingers crossed for you this time! X

lifeofpies I'm so so sorry Sad. Take care of yourself for a while and we'll hope to see you back again X

Those suffering with their anxiety, I have in the past also. I found having a counsellor to listen to me and to point out the patterns in my thinking and behaviour helped me enormously and I would recommend anyone to try talking therapies (I did one-to-one counselling through my job's health plan). I was also one of those people who everyone thought had it all together and was able to cope with anything--until I couldn't, and I would snap. I was ashamed of not being able to cope at the start, but now I've realised that it's about maintaining your health, not about keeping up appearances. It's still hard when you add on the worries of pregnancy after miscarriage, plus hormones, but the strategies and self-understanding helps!

FuzzyOwl · 03/08/2017 21:43

I would also recommend it itsgoingtoofast and hope it helps.

Hello Perpetual and I really hope things go smoothly for this time.

Perpetualstateofchaos · 03/08/2017 22:04

Thank you both. I've got 2ds already but always wanted a 3rd. I've got an early scan in 2 weeks. I'm hopeful as I'm further along than what I usually manage to get but I can't bring myself to get excited. I've just bought bother hpt to do in the morning hoping to make it feel a bit more real. As if the nausea sickness aren't enough. I'm going to try catch up a bit as I've not been on here since January.

Brenna24 · 04/08/2017 05:48

I hope everything is ok Mogul.

I have been quite down and very anxious over the last few weeks, but it seems to be getting better the further on I get, so I am doing nothing more than monitoring it right now. I have had depression a few times before and know the signs and how to get myself out of the vicious cycles. So far I have been ok. If it gets too bad i will go and ask for help, but I haven't felt the need to yet.

Hi and welcome perpetual. Congratulations. I hope this is a sticky one for you.

12 week scan for us today. Nervous but, after a few days of feeling less sick, I woke up feeling rough again this morning. Hopefully that is a good sign.

rider1975 · 04/08/2017 07:20

Good luck today Brenna

DancingUnicorn · 04/08/2017 07:26

Fingers crossed today Brenna. Hope it goes well.

mogulfield · 04/08/2017 07:33

Good luck brenna

rider1975 · 04/08/2017 07:34

Really struggling with fatigue. Does it really go by 12-13 weeks? Need some light at the end of the tunnel Easter Smile

mammabear4 · 04/08/2017 07:49

Just caught up on a few pages. Pies I am so, so sorry Flowers

Hope everything goes well today Brenna

rider 18 weeks here and I'm extremely sorry to report my fatigue has only just started to disappear in the last week or so! However I am carrying two so that may be a factor! Also since my midwife prescribed iron tablets it's either been the placebo effect, coincidence or they are actually miracle workers - maybe worth asking your midwife or GP about?

DD and I are jetting off to Spain tomorrow - total last minute trip as we only booked yesterday! My auntie has a villa out there and my mum went with her yesterday - I was so jealous that we decided to tag along ha. Only second plane journey for DD and first was when she was 5 months old so I think she's going to be excited! DH has no idea - going to FaceTime him from the airport - I think he'll be slightly jealous though as he takes DD to airfields all the time and would have loved to see her face getting on the plane but never mind - Spain awaits!

In other news seeing a reflexologist this morning as my lower back pain is just horrendous now - fingers crossed she can sort me out.

Hope everybody else is doing ok today xx

People with back pain - have you tried sleeping with a pillow between your knees / under your top knee? Mine was AGONISING but doing that has cured it almost entirely.

AmyB1986 · 04/08/2017 10:12

@Brenna24 good luck with your scan today!

@rider1975 my fatigue vaguely disappeared around 15 weeks but returned again after 20 weeks. 29 weeks and feel like a need an extra weeks worth of sleep. Never enough.

Woke up with a horrendous head ache today.
Lo is sideways this morning. There is a limb of some sort poking out near my belly button. Not sure which part of her it is but if I press said pokey part she wiggles furiously.
Hope everyone has a good day today

mogulfield · 04/08/2017 10:24

utter that's understandable as when dreams are so vivid they can stay with you can't they, I'm sure everything is absolutely fine. Surely if anything had gone wrong you'd know as you're so far along? My non medical opinion there Smile
I'm a twin and it's lovely being a twin, I went through everything with my brother, it's wonderful to have that shared history.
I'm on my way to the EPAU for a scan, midwife referred me as I've had 2 instances of bleeding now. I'm a nervous wreck.

Thanks ladies - not sounding good in the fatigue forecast Shock. I'm on hols next week (staying with my folks) and looking forward to the break. House has been completely neglected and skipping dinner to snooze in the evenings.
That's really cute Amy can't imagine what it's like to have feet sticking out !
And no worries on the dream front Utter I too have had some mighty wild dreams including some very bloody horror ones - still pregnant today tho. Just a bit of natural anxiety

SayItIsntSo1 · 04/08/2017 13:46

Mogul I hope everything is ok at your scan.

Brenna I also hope your 12wk scan goes ok. It's a big milestone.

I am laid on my bed with house magazines and a cup of tea. Bliss! Manic morning of cleaning, tidying, gloss painting. Health visitor has been for her pre-baby visit, quite surprised she doesn't want to come back to check we get our building site of a house sorted but sadly I suspect they see plenty of unpleasant living situations that aren't temporary chaos.

I keep meaning to ask, has anyone heard from @grainmum? Hope you and the baby are keeping well if you still follow the thread!

Feeling anxious this afternoon. Had the tiniest spot of brown, which I'm sure is nothing at all, but of course I'm now terrified! Will phone the mw this afternoon if it gets any worse.

Hope scans are ok mogul and Brenna.

Brenna24 · 04/08/2017 14:21

12 weeks and 4 days and looking perfect (if a little stubborn about moving into a position where measurements and pictures could be taken). Baby was lying on its side napping and not for moving for anyone. It took some creative photography through my left hand side to get a picture and measurement. Grin

I hope everything is ok Dancing. I had 9 days of red blood from 6 to 7 weeks and we have made it past that.

I hope all went well Mogul.

AnUtter funnily enough on Monday I was looking out the window and watched a white feather floating past the window and down to the street below. The day after there was a big rainbow out the same window. I could not decide whether they were a message from this baby to say goodbye or from my others to say all was ok. I hope it was just a dream brought on by you worrying about the babies.

Oh and Rider I am still absolutely shattered all the time. I believe the second trimester is supposed to bring loads of energy and feeling great. I am quite ready for that now.

mogulfield · 04/08/2017 15:22

Fantastic news brenna it's such a milestone to make it to, you must be so pleased.

I had my scan and all was well! A healthy baby with a heartbeat and even did a little wave (see photo!) I was so relieved I cried. They put me at 11+3, so just 4 more days till I feel a bit safer!
No more bleeding and they're not sure what it was (they said most probably a clot).
rider when I was pregnant with my DS I started to feel MUCH better at 13/14 weeks and was back running and swimming again.

Fab news Brenna and mogul.

harrietm87 · 04/08/2017 17:07

Congrats brenna and mogul!

dancing I checked with the midwife yesterday and she says brown is nothing to worry about. Mine has stopped now and the cramping has eased up as well so I'm feeling much better.

mammabear4 · 04/08/2017 17:21

Absolutely fantastic news brenna and mogul!

Reflexologist was amazing, it was so relaxing and felt like a really chilled but focussed massage - she said it sounds as if babies are lying on my sciatic nerve 😬 she's suggested sitting on a pregnancy ball on an evening rather than sitting static on the sofa. peach I have one of those humongous U shaped pregnancy pillows and sleep with it between my knees... so comfy on a night but during the day the pain comes back 😓
