I just got my BFP on the 9th June, and I'm calculated due 18th Feb 2018. Anyone else with similar dates out there who'd like to share the ride?
Current symptoms are tender, larger boobs and mild, intermittent 'cramps" In my left abdomen (more like a poke than a cramp!).

Hey ladies,

I had my check in appointment with the midwife today - suddenly starting to feel real Smile

I wondered if any of you have yet and if your midwife gave you your notes to take away? I've just checked my folder and realised there is nothing in there?

Mrstobe90 · 27/06/2017 22:33

Hi!
Can I join?

I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and due on the 20th of Feb :)
Getting married on Saturday and we thought this would be a great time to start trying and it happened first time!
Thanking my lucky stars!

Sticky babies for everyone Smile xxx

RS123 · 28/06/2017 00:02

Hi Mrstobe90, congratulations - have the most amazing time on Saturday!!! I think i'm 6 weeks tomorrow too - though PCOS so could be plus or minus a bit but temps look like 20/21 Feb :)

Sadie, mine was for one week's time but had to change the time which means it's 2 weeks now, so 8wks by my chart but 9.5wks but doctor's records. Quite tempted to have an early scan too as an older mother and first time, would be amazing to hear a heart beat and eases anaxiety a little. What was the appointment like?

Lots of indigestion and nausea yesterday, but think that may have been as I wolfed down a Chinese the night before, as thankfully less today. Mainly tiredness, light headed, heavy breasts, fuzzy brain and bloating, and some mild aching. Finding it hard to disguise as can't do all the things I used to at the moment, which is a little problematic.

How's everyone?

boopdoop · 28/06/2017 10:06

Hi Sadie. I am pretty sure the midwife should have given you your notes, as I think from then you have to have them yourself to take to appointments etc. Might be worth calling to check. Might be different in different areas I guess, but I'm pretty certain you should have them!

boopdoop · 28/06/2017 10:07

Congratulation on both pregnancy and wedding mrstobe! Wow! Lots going on for you. Hope you have a fab day on sat and these last couple of days beforehand aren't too stressful.

Mrstobe90 · 28/06/2017 10:44

Thanks guys! Smile

I've been getting nausea everyday and some actual vomiting, my boobs are huge and sore, sense of smell has gone ridiculous and I'm soooo tired!

It's nice to know there are other people in the same boat :)

EmilyK83 · 28/06/2017 17:59

Congrats on both Mrstobe! I'm getting married in 9.5 weeks and we're due Feb 14th, so if all goes well, we're hoping to announce it at the wedding, by which point I'll (touch wood) be 16 weeks!

The nausea is real here today. In a way I'm glad it's arrived, as at least I'm feeling more pregnant...

Mrstobe90 · 28/06/2017 20:04

Thank you! Congratulations to you too Smile
I was glad when I first got morning sickness. I'm not glad anymore lol
So scared I'm going to be ill during the wedding!

EmilyK83 · 28/06/2017 20:12

Awww I'm sure you'll be fine - hope you have an amazing day! Smile

LeannieRVN · 28/06/2017 22:27

Thank you, and congratulations Anna.
I'm booked in to see the lady at the PAM clinic on Monday evening. She really does sound very nice.
All my symptoms seem to have disappeared and my clear blue digital said 2-3 weeks, when I'm actually 6.4 weeks. I'm very worried now!

Congratulations and have a wonderful wedding day Mrstobe

Happy Sunday everyone. I hope all is quiet because everyone is feeling contented and healthy. I was thinking of doing stats a list for the threads (apparently it seems to be the done thing). So if you'd like to be on it (no obligation), pop whatever stats you'd like included in a post!

I'm excited and nervous about my scan at Pam's clinic tomorrow evening...pleeeease let there be cardiac activity!!!!

Hi all! I'm pregnant with my first at 30, the NHS due date calculator says we're looking at 24/02. My first GP appointment is on Thursday, I was going to wait till then to start thinking of myself as 'actually pregnant' but my symptoms have been horrible and it's unmistakable - exhausted all the time, such painful boobs, and I'm feeling so sick this morning. Thinking of sending DO to the shop for some crackers / ginger biscuits.

Good luck for tomorrow Leanne!

poppylou27 · 02/07/2017 10:09

Hi @LeannieRVN good luck for tomorrow!

I'm 28
Pregnant with DC1 (although second pregnancy as first ended in MC at 6+2)
I'm 8 weeks 6 days
Due date 5th February
Current symptoms: sore and enlarged boobs and no other!
Already had 2 scans, most recent was Wednesday which dated me 2 days ahead but at this early stage is nothing to go by as sizes can fluctuate. I have a private scan booked for a weeks time for peace of mind due to past experience.
Convinced I'm already starting to show as the 'bloat' is always there, even first thing in the morning.
Feeling anxious and tired but that's tonne expected!
Hope everyone else is doing well Smile

Anna2006 · 02/07/2017 12:36

@LeannieRVN I am also due to have a scan tomorrow. I'm very nervous an hoping that there will be something in there. I know that sounds stupid but I have anxiety after last time.

@poppylou27 I'm 8+5 today so due date 6th Feb currently. I haven't had any scans yet so hoping to have good news tomorrow. My mmc was at 13 weeks pregnant And was a empty pregnancy sac measuring 13 weeks. How does that even happen?! So very nervous hoping there is a baby there with a heartbeat. Don't blame you for having several though. It is a dreadful worrying wait but I figure nothing can change the fate. It's either meant to be or it isn't.

Fingers crossed for us all. Can't wait to get to 13 weeks and everything is okay & can share the news.

Cat2991 · 02/07/2017 19:14

Due 7th Feb! Very unexpected pregnancy, and at the worst time as just about to move into our first home and I'm looking to change jobs! But such is life!

Feeling sick as a dog most everyday but thankfully only one vomit in 4 weeks! Spent 5 hours being lightheaded on Friday to the point my partner had to walk me down the stairs! And the heartburn! Dear lord!! However I am a nervous mess and keep thinking we are not going to be successful:(

poppylou27 · 02/07/2017 20:48

@Anna2006 thank you.. I'm definitely feeling the same way, hopefully this time is our time!
Xxxx

cakesandphotos · 03/07/2017 08:51

Last morning of a hen do weekend and I'm feeling so so sick Sad I don't do vomiting so hopefully everything stays down and I can pack up and drive home. I'm kind of glsd because lack of symptoms was worrying me but this sucks!

MarmiteAndPB · 03/07/2017 10:26

@LeannieRVN good luck today!

Not sure what kind of stats you mean? I'm on my first pregnancy, due on 8th Feb. Haven't had any scans yet - I've been trying to get in contact with the local midwives but not much luck so far.

Still haven't told anyone except DH - but I don't think I'm doing a great job of hiding it at work because I've felt so "ill" for so long. People keep asking if I'm feeling better and I just say "Sort of." Blush Plus I used to be about on 5 large mugs of tea a day and I've basically stopped completely.

Mrstobe90 · 03/07/2017 18:58

Good luck Leannie

LeannieRVN · 04/07/2017 08:19

Hi everyone. Sadly it was bad news at the scan. Im 7 weeks yesterday but the gestational sac measures only 4 weeks and is empty. My dates are accurate as we haven't DTD since. This is my first, but my uterus is the size of someone who has had several previous pregnancies due to one large, or a cluster of fibroids. Have just booked a drs appt and have to requested hcg blood level monitoring, which I'm expecting to drop off until my body catches up and I miscarry. I'm devastated. I've been going to the Dr for years because periods make me so ill. I'm so heavy I become anaemic and have to take blood clotters to limit the blood loss. He's never suggested a simple scan. I could have had these operated on years ago.

I hope yoyr scan has given you goid news anna

LeannieRVN - so sorry to hear that. Miscarriage is always hard. Flowers

MarmiteAndPB - in my area, you contact the doctor first and then they refer to u to the midwives.

poppylou27 · 04/07/2017 08:47

I'm so sorry to hear that @LeannieRVN Sad..
From experience, nothing can prepare you for this sort of news. Make sure you take it easy, rest and have everyone do everything for you! My thoughts are with you xxxxxxx

boopdoop · 04/07/2017 09:24

LeannieRVN so so sorry to hear that. x

MarmiteAndPB · 04/07/2017 09:29

@LeannieRVN I'm so sorry. I hope that you have someone to look after you. Flowers

@Kpo58 Thanks. I did go to the GP first, who sent a referral form. But no-one ever got back to me so I started chasing up - ended up going around the houses and eventually someone today said that I have to go back to the GP to ask them to resend the form! It's been over three weeks now and I'm irritated at the delay because I don't want to be late for any scans, but hopefully it will be sorted now.

cakesandphotos · 04/07/2017 09:32

@LeannieRVN so sorry to hear that. I hope someone is with you to take care of you. Flowers hope everything with the Gp goes well
