I just got my BFP on the 9th June, and I'm calculated due 18th Feb 2018. Anyone else with similar dates out there who'd like to share the ride?
Current symptoms are tender, larger boobs and mild, intermittent 'cramps" In my left abdomen (more like a poke than a cramp!).

@LeannieRVN @LorelaiVictoriaGilmore thank you ladies. Nothing his morning so fingers crossed peanut sticks nicely. It wasn't red just light pink mixed with cm. I went into panic mode though 😳😳 xxxx

MummyGofboys · 19/06/2017 09:01

Good sign that nausea is getting worse. Only managed a protein bar this morning, little nibbles at a time. Smells are making me feel sick too 😷😷

poppylou27 · 19/06/2017 19:14

May I also join?

This is my second pregnancy although the first ended with a MMC so fingers are crossed for this time!
I had an early scan today & we saw a heartbeat & baby measure 9.8mm which is bang on measurements 😊

Also have a cyst on my ovary but not too worried as we were reassured this can happen!

Hope everyone is doing well!
Xxx

LorelaiVictoriaGilmore · 19/06/2017 20:14

Hi poppylou how far along are you? Just wondering as I'm hoping to have an early scan too. I had a cyst on my ovary at the start of my last pregnancy bit it disappeared as the pregnancy progressed!

poppylou27 · 19/06/2017 20:52

@LorelaiVictoriaGilmore ahh that's good to know about the cyst, hopefully mine will begin to disappear!
I am 7 weeks today.. I went for an earlier scan at 5 weeks and 2 days but they were only able to see a gestational sac and yolk sac and no baby as it was too early, which to be honest threw up more questions then answers so wasn't very reassuring but the one today was extremely reassuring!
Xxx

LorelaiVictoriaGilmore · 19/06/2017 21:26

Thanks! That's what I was worried about - panicking myself by going for an early scan too early! I had a scan at around 6 weeks during my last pregnancy (early scan was due to doctor thinking pregnancy might be ectopic... it wasn't!) and there was a heartbeat but I don't want to risk going too early this time as I'll just go nuts with worry.

Hopefully your cyst will vanish too! After almost 10 years of ovarian cysts, I haven't had even one since that cyst (I think about 5cms) disappeared during my first pregnancy... Really strange but I'm not complaining!

poppylou27 · 19/06/2017 21:49

Yeah I'd definitely wait until your past 6 weeks as it really did put me on edge a little, especially after previous experience of MC.

Yeah, mine is 6cm but from what I've read around they're quite common and can be helpful in pregnancy due to if 'feeding' the hormones... hopefully it'll start reducing in size and eventually shrink throughout - on the plus side I may get more scans to keep an eye on it which would be nice and reassuring throughout the pregnancy Smile

Welcome and congratulations cakes, Kpo, Sadie, Boop, Poppylou. Thank you for joint us. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy journey. I'm so excited at how many we have on here now! This will be a lovely thread to be part of.

So please to hear that you're ok Mummygof. Great news that you feel sick (lol), sounds positive!

I think kitten I might go for a 7-8weel scan then....it's all very nerve wracking!

Is anyone here over 35?

Last pregnancy I had a ridiculous number of scans... I found a whole box full of photographs when I was clearing out ds's room last week! I don't know what I was thinking... I just remember being sooooo anxious for various reasons and it was the only thing that calmed me down. I'm trying to keep a better hold on my sanity this time! Smile

sadie2017 · 19/06/2017 23:22

I feel super anxious too and my first appointment with the midwife isn't until next week. I'm desperate for a scan to know all is okay.

I worry because although I have a few symptoms (mainly acid reflux) but they come and go. I've not had morning sickness yet or anything too bad. I keep doing tests as I'm worried sick I'm not pregnant and it's just my body playing tricks. I'm 7wks +1 tomorrow.

This has got to be the scariest experience ever.

LorelaiVictoriaGilmore · 20/06/2017 10:48

I find it really scary. But I only want two kids so I'm hoping this is going to be my last pregnancy and I really want to enjoy it. I'm really struggling to concentrate at work though. I feel like life should stop because I'm pregnant!

I'm freaking out about symptoms/lack of symptoms too. I had terrible/really dramatic symptoms during my first pregnancy and so far this one isn't too bad at all. Makes me worry that it's not as strong a pregnancy or that something is going wrong. I'm just getting the odd wave of nausea that lasts for a couple of hours and then goes away again. Just keep having to remind myself that I'm only 4+3 so there's plenty of time to get really sick later! Really want a scan!!

user1497167248 · 20/06/2017 11:13

Hi :) ahhh I'm so glad I have come across this thread! I got my BFP on 10th Jun and calculated roughly that I am due around 16th feb!

Starting to get a bit anxious as my symptoms have all started going away! I don't want to complain as maybe I am one of the lucky ones but it's making me a bit worried - still have sore nipples but that's about it, I'm tired a lot but that's really nothing new for me Grin

I have considered going to buy another clear blue test to
See if the weeks indicator has progressed - husband has flat out banned me from doing this (he thinks I'm insane) but I just hate this waiting period and don't feel that different Confused

cakesandphotos · 20/06/2017 11:42

I ordered more pregnancy tests today so I can do one a week or so until I'm out of the danger zone. I don't think there's any harm in it. Surely it's better to know if there's a problem before you get too far down the line thinking everything is fine?

Nat199082 · 20/06/2017 12:54

That's what I thought Smile I think I will get some more I don't see the harm if it puts my mind at ease

boopdoop · 20/06/2017 13:03

It is just the most stressful time isn't it... I am going with trying to be cautiously optimistic... but I find myself bouncing from really excited to really scared. My mc last time was really early so these next few days feel really scary. Hoping to have a scan 6+ weeks to reassure myself. Whilst I hated being so sick last time, at least it felt reassuring that there was something there!! So just waiting for that to kick in, but only 4+2 so it's still a bit early for that compared to when I had DS1. I'm waiting for more pregnancy tests to arrive today so I can test again... expensive but just want to keep checking. (Though if anything bad had happened, not sure how long it might still show as positive??) arrrrggg!

boopdoop · 20/06/2017 13:07

Leannie - I'm 39, so definitely over 35!! 40 in Jan. Never wanted to have kids so late but DS1 is such a terrible sleeper that it's taken us quite a while to get round to the idea of #2 (he's now 3.5 yrs). and then had mc in sept, and been trying ever since, but DH works away a lot and often the crucial few days in a month so not had many opportunities to actually DTD!

BigTroubleinSmallBoots · 20/06/2017 14:36

Hello - can I de lurk and join in? Due 11th Feb with no.3.. hoping for a lovely smooth pregnancy. And no early arrivals like no.2 who was super premature. Under consultant care after booking in appointment. Trying very hard not to be anxious but it creeps in sometimes. Apart from that feel like shit all and every afternoon. I have suddenly massive boobs (thanks hormones) so I look faintly ridiculous and might be a bit cross for no reason sometimes. (My poor family!)

RS123 · 20/06/2017 16:39

Hi,

Can I join? Due sometime in Feb, but irregular cycles so could be 6+1 or 4+6 🙄😄 I don't mind, as long as baby is happy and healthy. First pregnancy so all new.

MarmiteAndPB · 20/06/2017 17:06

Hi all, can I join as well? 1st pregnancy and due around 8th Feb (different online calculators appear to give different results Hmm).

I seem to be having very mild symptoms. I had to buy a bra to sleep in because of sore boobs, but otherwise just very low level nausea/queasiness all day. Not sure if this is a precursor to morning sickness or just the heat!

DH doesn't want to tell anyone at all until 12 weeks, which I understand in theory but it does seem a very long time to wait - and means that I can't ask advice from DM or friends! We weren't properly "trying" so I haven't done any preparation or research and really don't know what to expect. Hiding the fact that I'm not drinking has been tricky as well Blush.

MummyGofboys · 20/06/2017 18:10

Anyone else suffering with the dreaded pregnancy bloat. This is my third and I look three months gone already 😱😱 I normally don't have a tummy at all xx

MarmiteAndPB · 20/06/2017 18:19

Ha! I'd like to blame it on pregnancy bloat Grin I'd been trying to lose weight, just started on a new HIIT regime and back on the weight watchers wagon then boom! pregnant and not allowed to diet.

MummyGofboys · 20/06/2017 18:42

Haha @MarmiteAndPB bloody typical isn't it 😂😂

cakesandphotos · 20/06/2017 19:15

I know the feeling @MarmiteAndPB! I have a hen do next weekend and while I'm not a big drinker, everyone who knows me knows how partial I am to prosecco! My best friend is in on it so she's going to help me smuggle some on alcoholic stuff into a glass so I can fake it! At least by the wedding I'll be 12 weeks so will probably tell the bride and bridesmaids anyway

poppylou27 · 20/06/2017 19:16

@MummyGofboys I'm definitely feeling the bloat! I'm practically flat stomached in the morning and by mid-afternoon I look 5months!! Hmm
