I just got my BFP on the 9th June, and I'm calculated due 18th Feb 2018. Anyone else with similar dates out there who'd like to share the ride?
Current symptoms are tender, larger boobs and mild, intermittent 'cramps" In my left abdomen (more like a poke than a cramp!).

@poppylou27 yeah it's awful 😱😱

FozBoz · 20/06/2017 20:24

Completely getting the bloat! 6wks today and with the warm weather, what to wear to conceal things is an extra consideration!

MummyGofboys · 20/06/2017 21:25

@FozBoz I'm the same. Struggling to hide it xxx

RS123 · 21/06/2017 00:49

Thank goodness it's not just me!! I was getting worried about the bloat especially when I see slideshows of bumps developing. My first and I look 4mths gone. Never heard of it before.

RS123 · 21/06/2017 00:51

Is anyone else struggling to remember of think straight, especially as the day progresses?

Had really bad nausea last night that kept me awake but calmer thankfully tonight.

Princessk29 · 21/06/2017 07:18

Can I join please?

Due 25.02.18

Very anxious as suffered MC march 2017!

First child though so also very excited ❤️

MummyGofboys · 21/06/2017 07:20

@RS123 it's to do with the Rose in progesterone. It should ease off within a few weeks. It's horrible though. My nausea is really bad today. Anything touching my belly makes me want to puke. All good signs though xx

cakesandphotos · 21/06/2017 09:36

Taking care of 20 month old twins today and I'm shattered! Fortunately as they're twins, they largely play together but unfortunately as they're twins, there's two of them!
Although one of them keeps sitting on my knee, lifting up my top and patting my tummy Smile
Not sure I could handle twins as my own children though!

TLH0307 · 21/06/2017 10:11

Pregnant with number 1! Scared about parenthood in general but over the moon. My due date on the NHS due date calculator is 14th Feb! So excited. Feeling soooo sleepy and hungry all the time - dreading the sicky feelings starting. Good luck everyone :)

sadie2017 · 21/06/2017 18:45

Feeling a bit upset and worried today. Most probably over-reacting... but I was sat at my desk earlier when one of the guys came up and pushed the leaver on my chair so the back sprung forward and forced my tummy in to the desk. A bit of a thud and doesn't hurt but I've felt sick all day - I think it's just worry and anger because I wanted to punch him in the face... but then everyone would know I'm pregnant 😞

I just need to get it off my chest. I've tried for this baby for over three years - I'm worried sick, I just want to get to 12 weeks xx

cakesandphotos · 21/06/2017 18:48

@sadie2017 I know what you mean. We only tried for 18 months but I'm scared of losing the baby and having to start all over again. Roll on week 12!

MummyGofboys · 21/06/2017 21:35

@sadie2017 try and not fret too much. Baby is well padded in there xx

LeannieRVN · 21/06/2017 22:08

Oh Sadie I feel for you. I'm sure many of us are feeling protective of our little beans, and very vulnerable too. I'm terrified of losing it and swing from excited to anxious very easily, and often.

Great to meet another over 35 mummies to be here Boop I'm glad of the connection. Hopefully it'll help us to have someone in the same shoes.

Welcome to the newbies! Thank you for joining us.

I have the bloat too and thought it was just me! I think my partner considers me slightly obsessed. I can't stop rubbing my 'bloaty-bump'. I'm not a bit upset about it though, I've waited to look like this for a very long time. I want to look preggers!

We've been TTC for so long that now I'm pregnant, I'm getting a bit of a kick out of taking tests (I know, someone hand me the grip I clearly need!!) I also find it reassuring that I'm still pregnant. This evening I tested and the test line is quite a bit darker than the control line? I know this isn't bad but I'm wondering does it mean Jelly Tot is super sticky? Or possibly that there's Jelly Tots in there?!

RS123 · 22/06/2017 00:00

Hi @cakesandphotos, not sure but one for the tests here too!

Thank you @MummyGofboys, I got lost today and then lost my keys 🙄 so if it wasn't for your reassurance I'd be thinking I was going loopy :) Brain just won't engage.

Booked my 'Booking in Appointment' today!! Two weeks to go and from there they book the first scan, though if it's not till 12 weeks tempted to have an early peek with a private scan for peace of mind and to see my little peanut.

Bought one of those maternity trouser extenders today because shorts need it 😂

EmilyK83 · 22/06/2017 07:41

Hey all, first baby here too, EDD Feb 14th (6+1 today). Early scan this morning to check it's not ectopic, and I'm terrified...

No real symptoms yet apart from sore boobs, digestive issues plus cramping and leg pain, which is why I'm being scanned today...I'm desperate for this one to stick :(

Marmite - saw your weight loss post, ever tried Slimming World? It's the only weight loss plan endorsed by the Royal College of Midwives...I lost loads with them last year, and still maintaining with them during my pregnancy...

MummyGofboys · 22/06/2017 07:48

Thatsgood. I haven't booking in appointment next Thursday, which I'm pretty excited about. Iv had pretty bad constipation last two days. Another symptom thanks to progesterone 😳😳 I too can't wait to look pregnant xx

LorelaiVictoriaGilmore · 22/06/2017 10:06

Can I ask when people booked their booking in appointments? I'm 5 weeks on Saturday but was going to leave it until I am about 6 weeks to call as I seem to remember that's about when I called last time.

poppylou27 · 22/06/2017 10:51

Good luck @EmilyK83

cakesandphotos · 22/06/2017 10:56

I booked mine this week for 3 weeks time. But I live very rurally and the midwife only comes to my surgery on a Monday afternoon

EmilyK83 · 22/06/2017 11:03

Thanks poppy - just waiting for scan room to become available...

MummyGofboys · 22/06/2017 11:14

I called straight away xx

LorelaiVictoriaGilmore · 22/06/2017 13:36

Maybe I will call this week, then. I think I'm putting it off because I'm worried that something's going to go wrong. I had to do all my early appointments in a rush last time as I think I was 6-7 weeks by the time I found out I was pregnant... it could actually have been even later than that! It made the wait until 12 weeks so much more manageable!

Good luck EmilyK83.

RockieValentine · 22/06/2017 14:32

Hi so glad I found this. I'm due Feb 22nd with my first.
This is my 2nd pregnancy this year, had a miscarriage in Feb so feel like it's too early to get excited. My HCG levels have been good though, getting them checked again today.
Feel like this is such a rollercoaster. Gonna read the entire thread and get to know everyone and be back in a bit. Smile

FozBoz · 22/06/2017 16:09

Sadie - I wouldn't worry too much about baby, I believe it's excessive force to tummy area that's a problem - like a bad car accident. I'd be massively pissed off though and hope you had stern words?

Cakes - I had that too. Super strong line -even more than test line. I did wonder twins (I'm a twin, dad is a twin, his twin had twins etc) I'm due an early scan tomorrow at 6+3. TBH this is my 5th pg (1 DS) so I'm just praying a strong line is a good sign and the twin thing will be incidental.

How's everyone feeling today? Sickness kicking in? Mine has started with a vengence and I'm struggling with work.
