Right baby - i'm ready for you!! Anyone else?

I'm 39+2 and eagerly awaiting the arrival of DC2.

Who else is analyzing ever little twinge and cramp??

DD was born 39+5. I was checked over yesterday due to a very tender, sore bump (everything fine) and baby wasn't yet engaged.

Are you all prepared??

Oh I'll be at the polling station - in labour or with a new baby if need be!!

Taking DD to soft play in an hour so hope o don't start labouring there 😂

Due date it 11/6 - so Sunday!! Went into labour at 39+4 with DD, although didn't get a show until after labour had begun last time so who knows!!

I had a nap! Feeling much better now. I have been having bits of show since last Thursday. We hot postal votes just in case and sent them off at the weekend.

40 weeks today. Feeling sick and exhausted but no twinges..... DD1 was a week early and Dd2 a week late. Off for another walk in a minute and then more nesting.

1cm but able to do the sweep. Everything going the right way! And no where near as uncomfortable as I was led to believe! Hope things keep moving for us all!

39 weeks today! Have got the midwife this afternoon. Been having lots of cramps I didn't have with DC1 but full blown labour started at 41+4 so I am not getting too excited yet as conscious I could have 3 weeks left!

Now I'm starting to panic and get anxious about everything. Not about labour, but having a newborn AND a toddler. Where is everything going to go? How will DD adapt? How am I going to survive on such little sleep? There's still things I need to get down from the loft, the house is a tip, and I feel so Ill prepared Sad

No progress u fortunately. Was up at MW this morning as I lost my vision temporarily and she checked me out - apparently baby's head more mobile now?! How's that even possible Shock. I walked about 3 miles with the dog yesterday and on my ball loads - thought that would have helped!!

I'm exactly 38 weeks pregnant today and every sharp pain or twinge I get I'm thinking 'is this it?' Haha.. I have a midwife appointment at 38+6 can anyone tell me what will happen at that appointment?

Yes I keep willing the pains to come on!! I'm getting loads of BH and cramps but nothing more than that. MW told me to try a night of passion with DH but just can't summon the energy!!

I think it will just be a normal check up? Feel how baby is lying, BP, heartbeat etc?

I've had my show too. Intermittent cramping and constant dull period pains! Baby is b2b though so this 'start-stop' could go on for a while I guess!

That's great Wizard! I'm getting dull pains occasionally and occasional tightenings but not sore. Could be days yet for me!! Off to soft play again....

I'm taking my 4yo for a run around at the park. I'm determined to have the baby this weekend!

And then I'll demolish the slab of pâté I have waiting in the fridge...

Hello everyone I'm new here. I am 37 + 5 and just started maternity leave. Was recommended mumsnet by a girl at work so hi everyone.

I have packed my hospital bag but not the babies, and this is my third. Just had a horrendous sickness bug so glad to be out of that!

Been getting lots of BH and lots of heartburn which I think I have a routine to keep it managed. I've been told the baby is still 'free' and not engaged but did miss my appt this week at the MW due to general baby brain. Had my whooping cough injection that made my whole arm hurt lol.
