Oops time for a new thread. Hope you all find it okay Grin

@lydiangel83 I'm nearly 26 weeks, it was probably 20ish weeks when it improved because I remember I first felt baby move at 18 weeks and I was sleeping in the spare room because I was so fidgety and frustrated that night so it was after 18 weeks!

Is paracetamol ok to take? Think I've got a draft in my thigh/hip and in agony!! Been up all night! 7w0d

ememem84 · 05/06/2017 07:07

Midwife said paracetamol is fine. Take it as instructed on packet.

No IBruorufen though.

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 05/06/2017 08:53

I fainted a few minutes ago! Partner helped me up off chair because I've got a poorly leg and I asked him to hold me because I went really dizzy and i just fainted :(

ew1990 · 05/06/2017 09:14

@Victoriaaaaaaaa I've fainted twice, midwife thinks it's blood sugar dropping, make sure you eat something every couple of hours even if it's just a biscuit or a slice of toast, if I go more than a few hours without eating I faint, I know it's scary xxx

TheLionQueen1 · 05/06/2017 09:15

When I told my mum I was pregnant she said she knew she was with both my sister and I as she used to regularly faint in early pregnancy, which she never normally did! I'm not saying you still shouldn't get checked up but I don't think it's particularly unusual if you google it.

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 05/06/2017 09:16

@ew1990 it really was scary!! I just went dizzy and thought I was sleeping when hubby asked if I'm ok!

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 05/06/2017 09:17

I'm at midwifes tomorrow so going to mention it

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 05/06/2017 13:38

I'm so hormonal today it's unreal! I'm just so clingy and just want to cry :(

MSH2010 · 05/06/2017 17:27

I suffered with dizzy spells so I called my midwife centre. They suggested I went in for blood tests which showed I was anemic and needed iron tablets

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 05/06/2017 18:45

I had some tuna for tea tonight havent had it for ages so thought I'd treat myself :)

ememem84 · 05/06/2017 19:13

vic proper tuna?? Like a tuna steak??? Mmmmm. I want one. Tuna is something I'm missing (not that I have it often) but I really like it practically raw.

I think I've got indigestion and/or heartburn. Never suffered from it before. So only think that's what it is.

Ps it's not cool.

QuestionARhino · 05/06/2017 19:21

@ememem84 it's the worst. I get heartburn at weird times. Usually in the afternoon. Gaviscon is the only thing that helps me!

So I bought some maternity short dungarees today, not my usual style but I saw them and fell in love. They look so cute with a bump!

ew1990 · 05/06/2017 19:27

@ememem84 my midwife said tuna is fine occasionally it's something to do with a vitamin in it or something so in moderation it's fine, I treated myself to a tuna sandwich the other day forgot how much I like tuna xxx

QuestionARhino · 05/06/2017 19:35

Tinned tuna is safer than fresh or so I was told. We can have 2 portions of oily fish a week but I was advised we can have upto 4 cans per week of tinned 🤔

OP posts:
ew1990 · 05/06/2017 19:36

Yeah I was told 4 tins a week but I thought that was a bit much when she said occasionally, it's all so confusing xxx

QuestionARhino · 05/06/2017 19:38

There must be something about the tinning process that reduces the mercury content! Very bizarre. But I'm glad because I've been all over tuna since I fell pregnant.

Tinned tuna :) never actually tried tuna steak!

ememem84 · 05/06/2017 19:46

Oh tinned tuna I've eaten it's the fresh stuff I miss. Mmmm.

With chilli and lime dressing on noodles. Mmmmmmmmm. Just wave a pan at it and it goes all yummmmmm.

I might have a tuna mayo sandwich tomorrow for lunch. Mmmmmm.

I was told two portions a week. And assumed that it was two Tins.

I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs yesterday for breakfast. Soooo goooooooodd

QuestionARhino · 05/06/2017 19:49

@ememem84 mmmm I ate dinner not long ago but I could eat all 3 of those dishes you've mentioned right now 🤤

lydiangel83 · 05/06/2017 19:58

I like to claim I had no cravings I first trimester apart from carbs and marmite on toast but now that I think about it I had a few wks of 3-4 tuna cheese toasties per week!

Jessiecat27 · 05/06/2017 20:14

Anyone else got a cold and feeling sorry for themselves? Don't think anything would quench my thirst right now! 🙈

Ooooh tuna melt. Maybe that's what I'll have for lunch tomorrow. Mmmm.

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 06/06/2017 08:00

Anyone been to the toilet wiped and noticed that it seemed more brown than yellow?

Brens13 · 06/06/2017 08:19

Victoria are you on a group yet for the month you expect to be due? The one I'm in has loads of talk of this sort of stuff as everyone's around the same stage. It's really useful for anxieties. For instance, I've had very little symptoms which makes me nervous but there's a couple of others due within a week of me who are the same so I haven't worried as much. I really really recommend it if you suffer from anxiety as these people will be right there with you and won't necessarily be first babies so have more experience too. It doesn't matter if you haven't had your dating scan, find the one you're in now and they'll welcome you.
