Oops time for a new thread. Hope you all find it okay Grin

@lydiangel83 I'm nearly 26 weeks, it was probably 20ish weeks when it improved because I remember I first felt baby move at 18 weeks and I was sleeping in the spare room because I was so fidgety and frustrated that night so it was after 18 weeks!

Oh wow @lydiangel83 I'll have to make sure I check that. I never read anything they give me as I always just thought if they say no problems they mean no problems!!!

mrsjkerry · 20/06/2017 17:00

@ew1990 could be carpal tunnel? Due to swelling...?

ew1990 · 20/06/2017 19:12

It could be, it comes and goes, more there if I'm sat doing nothing, feels like I've just had an injection in it xx

Beccaboo77 · 20/06/2017 20:25

Hi
First time pregnant and had some pains and went for a early scan . They said they can see a sac but it showing signs of breaking down and they don't see a fetel pole or yolk. From my last period doctor says I am 8 weeks but I thinking I am only about 5 weeks I have to go back for another scan next week ... had anybody experienced this and can advise me ? As i have glimmer of hope but also I'm devastated as they advised high chance of miscarriage
TIA

ew1990 · 20/06/2017 20:43

@Beccaboo77 I think you are best off starting a thread in pregnancy.

This is all our first time being pregnant so none of us have experienced what you are going through x so sorry to hear you are going through this but maybe other experienced people can help you if you start a new thread Flowers

Beccaboo77 · 20/06/2017 20:46

Sorry I'm new I don't how to start a new post and this is my first time of being pregnant also

ew1990 · 20/06/2017 21:01

Sorry, are you on your phone? If so which make?

Most of us have had our 12 week scans some even 20 so never been in your position xx

lydiangel83 · 21/06/2017 13:03

Hi all

Just to report back that all is well following private anomaly scan. Consultant talked through every single bit of body - was amazing. Worth every penny and never been so happy to be called completely normal in my life!

Turns out original 20 wk scan NHS measurements were probably inaccurate.

Good luck with yours @mrsjkerry

Bubbasmama2017 · 21/06/2017 13:16

that's wonderful news @lydiangel83

mrsjkerry · 21/06/2017 14:09

@lydiangel83 did you use a particular company?

lydiangel83 · 21/06/2017 14:40

I went to London Ultrasound Clinic - just found using google search but the consultant we saw was very experienced who also does NHS work, and the difference between him and the rushed sonographer we saw at NHS appt was astounding.

Teachervoice · 21/06/2017 16:12

@mrsjkerry was yours today? I recall us having the same due date and mine is tomorrow. So excited!

Congratulations @lydiangel83. Have been following your messages and glad you have the reassurance needed.

lydiangel83 · 21/06/2017 16:21

Thank you @Teachervoice :)

ew1990 · 21/06/2017 16:41

Does anyone get comments about the size of their bump? Like when people ask me how far along I am and then they say "god aren't you small I was massive when I was that far gone" it's making me really paranoid, I've never been big a size 8 so I never expected to be dead big but it's making me think my bumps too small.

I can't wait for my scan next week so hopefully i can get some reassurance x

mrsjkerry · 21/06/2017 16:53

Mine is on Friday @Teachervoice 😬

mrsjkerry · 21/06/2017 16:53

@ew1990 my friend said "hello fattie" to me today. I guess my bump is quite big haha

ew1990 · 21/06/2017 16:58

My nickname at work is tubs! Haha it's when strangers say it, like my little sisters teacher said it today xx

Teachervoice · 21/06/2017 17:06

How exciting @mrsjkerry! I'll let you know how mine goes tomorrow!

lydiangel83 · 21/06/2017 17:12

I keep getting called fatty by family and friends. Must admit I don't love it, would rather they commented on bump than my overall body lol! Can barely fit in to size 12 mat clothes that fitted fine a few weeks ago (and I was a size 10 pre-preggo!)

ew1990 · 21/06/2017 17:27

I have to buy a size 12 now and my bump seems massive to me,

People say with their first they didn't "pop" till like 25 weeks so I'm trying not to worry too much. People do say my bumps coming along nicely. I guess the negative things just stick in our heads? X

KeepingItReal2017 · 21/06/2017 17:44

Hey first time mummies!

Any advice on when it gets easier? What I mean it... 7 weeks in and I am all crampy, bloated, constipated, back-ache, exhausted and a little nausea. How did you all progress? XO

Bubbasmama2017 · 21/06/2017 18:19

Hi @keepingitreal2017 unfortunately I still have morning sickness at 19 weeks! Energy has picked up in the last couple of weeks but aches and pains seem to just moved to another area! I've always struggled with back ache though so might be a personal thing. Congratulations on your pregnancy hope you start to feel better soon x

lydiangel83 · 21/06/2017 18:30

I'd say my bump has popped in last 2-3 wks i.e. around weeks 19/20/21 and this is my first

ew1990 · 21/06/2017 18:43

I'm 20 week Saturday so trying not to worry, it has definitely popped to me this last week even dp's tshirts aren't baggy anymore xx

Missonhartbaby · 21/06/2017 19:20

Hey! My bump definitely popped out once I hit 20 weeks. People I don't know have been noticing it and generally say nice things like ahh your so small still, what a neat bump etc but then others mainly my friends are like your getting massive!! Haha. I don't think it's anything to worry about, people you don't know will always be more polite and friends will tell you how it is :) I'm loving my bump and I guess that's all that really matters!
