Something light hearted for a bit of fun!!!

Obviously everyone is looking forward to meeting their new baby etc.

But what else are you really looking forward to????

I'm looking forward to sleeping on my front and eating a delicious rare fillet steak. Nom!!

Red Wine and stinky ripe cheese! Althoughlike pp, after dc1, I got myself a nice glass of my fave wine and a couple of the meltiest brie and gorgonzolas I could find....and it tasted....meh...was so disappointed. It took me a couple of weeks to find my wine and cheese taste buds again!

Cagliostro it's heartening to hear someone say that, I've been dreading bf (obvs will still do it though). I want my body back! But maybe I'll be like you and find it lovely.

Homemade chicken liver pate with a great chunk of crusty bread, Parma ham, and a huge cheese board with a Camembert just for me. With a chilled glass of prosecco on the side.

I have also limited myself to one 'proper' cup of tea a day (earl grey) - the rest is de caff lark. Although midwife yesterday told me I could have 5 proper brews a day....

Hugely swollen elephant feet and ankles looking normal again.
No heartburn.
Being able to get out of bed/off the sofa without help/a crane.
Wine of all colours and rare steak.

Actually also really looking forward to being on maternity leave and spending more time with DC1 - helping her with her homework, being able to let her do after school activities she wants to do other than on set days, chilling with her a bit - that sort of thing. At the moment, four days a week, I take her to school and rarely see her again before 7pm. Also looking forward to having a baby obv, but can't quite picture that after 7 years.

An online shop from Ocado featuring

-every single Gin they sell.

  • vast quantities of fevertree Mediterranean tonic eater in dinky mixer bottles
-limes / grapefruit / orange and other garnishes.
  • Anadin extra

That'll do nicely.

Drinking a nice glass of prosecco
Eating brie
Losing the baby weight

CatRash · 20/04/2017 22:15

I'm looking forward to losing the baby weight too the click!!

The brie, wine, G&Ts and rare steak probably won't help with this though lol!!
