@Squigglefish sorry didn't properly read your post, this heat is getting to me 😂 xx

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 26/05/2017 21:52

Does anyone else find themselves straining when they go to the toilet because of constipation?

ew1990 · 26/05/2017 21:54

@Victoriaaaaaaaa yes, but don't strain can cause piles and they are painful, eat prunes or oranges that will help xx

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 26/05/2017 21:57

thanks @ew1990 first time I've strained tonight! When I get home tomorrow will be back on the fruit and fibre!

Squigglefish · 26/05/2017 22:50

Aww @ew1990 how come it all happens at once, when it's so inconvenient.
Haha I'm even surprised you managed to make sense of my message, it's garbled. I blame the heat too hahah xx

mrsjkerry · 26/05/2017 23:15

Does anyone know the rules regarding bringing the pregnacare into USA? Should I put in hold luggage or carry on board...?

Is anyone suffering with Hayfever? Is there anyway big we can take?x

QuestionARhino · 27/05/2017 01:08

@Squigglefish hay fever sufferer here 🙋🏻 pharmacy didn't want the responsibility of suggesting an OTC antihistamine so I emailed my GP explaining that and they left a prescription for Loratadine and a nose spray at reception for me. I've been prescribe loratadine a lot in the past so that's possibly why they were happy to prescribe without seeing me.

Often wondered if I can see a dark line. Sometimes I think it's just an imprint from my leggings or my eyes playing tricks but I can't tell 🤔

MSH2010 · 27/05/2017 07:35

Oh my god.... pulse in my right ear has gone to a new level today..... It's doing my head in and I've only been up for an hour Sad

THirdEeye · 27/05/2017 09:47

@squiggle have you tried allergy nose probes? They emit red light that reduces inflammation in the nasal passage.

I have used it since finding out I was pregnant (airdust allergy) and it really has helped, I haven't felt the need to use a antihistamine at all.

I'm glad I'm not the only who is feeling the rage. A colleague at work had cried (happy tears) and said it should have been me as I was pregnant. I told her that I haven't been tearful at all.....just moody!

@MHS what's the ringing in your ears? I hope it lessens soon.

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 27/05/2017 13:39

Girls how did you tell your bosses that you were pregnant? I'm really dreading it 🙈

Monkeypuzzle32 · 27/05/2017 13:51

me too Victoriaaaaa mainly because I don't like him and I dont really go in for big announcements!

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 27/05/2017 13:52

@Monkeypuzzle32 same! I'm gonna find it so awkward and off putting 😩

ew1990 · 27/05/2017 14:28

I told my boss when I found out, only because I've got a heavy job, and she's so lovely really looks after me, only thing is she's just been promoted to matron (which is great she deserved it) but she's not my boss anymore 😔 xxx

ValentineFizz · 27/05/2017 16:49

Hi ladies, hoping to join you here, I'm 16+2 and due on 9th November, assisted conception after ttc for 7 years, 40 years old and just can't believe this is happening at last! Smile

QuestionARhino · 27/05/2017 17:12

@ValentineFizz ah congratulations! That's incredibly exciting!! Grin how have you been feeling?

Monkeypuzzle32 · 27/05/2017 18:11

valentinefizz congrats-I had help too, and after such a long time and lots of £££ I'm 10w1, thought this would never happen!

ValentineFizz · 27/05/2017 18:13

Thank you @QuestionARhino! I've been really lucky as no real morning sickness to speak of just been incredibly tired but now on iron tablets so hoping that sorts me out. How far along are you?

ValentineFizz · 27/05/2017 18:14

Congratulations @Monkey, it's an overwhelming feeling to finally be here isn't it Grin

Squigglefish · 27/05/2017 20:42

Thank you for the replies. I'll speak to the doctor about what can be taken but I'm Defo going to check out those nose probes too, I'm intrigued. Allergies suck! xx

izzibee29 · 28/05/2017 07:32

@Victoriaaaaaaaa I told my boss a few weeks ago (currently 14+5). Literally grabbed him for 5 mins at the end of the day and just let him know. He looked a little surprised but happy for me, we've just had a new team member join and as I work in retail operations I've timed my due date great for me but badly for the team (Xmas in retail is mega busy with 30%of our business happening over 6 weeks). But it was good to get it out there as my boss has a very scatty entrepreneurial mind, so I needed to get him thinking and planning ahead early for the sake of me and the team.

JellyBean89 · 28/05/2017 09:51

Hello can I join? Got my bfp yesterday and still in a bit of a daze, according to ovia I am 3wks and 5days. We spent so long reading up on TTC we are now clueless and not sure if we should do anything. Waiting for the bank holiday to end so I can go to my GP for blood tests.

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 28/05/2017 10:06

@JellyBean89 they will offer you a blood test but they don't recommend it now as the pregnancy tests are that accurate they normally send you straight to midwife - that's what my gp said. I did do 4 tests though

ew1990 · 28/05/2017 13:28

Girls I have news x

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 28/05/2017 15:24
