I'm officially tired, fat and ready to pop. Anyone else want to check in together for the final count down? Shock

Hello! I'm 39 weeks tomorrow, section booked for Tuesday so nearly there. Going to be a looong weekend though as spd really kicked in now, need a wee every time I move ( and have a 4 and 2 year old so move a lot!), not sleeping and bloody knackered!

Went for my pre-op today so feels like it's all actually happening. My Dh is taking our two ds's to his parents for the night tomorrow, so looking forward to a break but hoping I don't go into labour!

Good morning! I also had a great sleep... and also still no baby!! I've managed to eat 4 slices of bread and a big Easter egg today so far. I may have a cheek complaining about heartburn Grin

Just been walking for two hours 😬 Not even a twinge! Hope we all get some signs soon!

Report
BakerBear · 15/04/2017 14:23

I really wish I could walk. Had spd with dd years ago but this time is just as bad, had it from 10 weeks pregnant with both and every movement is now agony.

I ve started sleeping during the day just feel exhausted!

I'm full of fluid, not had shoes on for 3 weeks, walking around in slippers!

39+1 here with DC3. Not sleeping and keep getting dizzy so daren't leave the house on my own. OH has been out fishing since 6.45am. I hope he has a plan to take me for dinner somewhere!

I hope he takes you out crumblequeen. OH has been foul today and yesterday. I'm putting it down to prenatal panic. 🙄

So, had a failed sweep yesterday. MW could only get a tip of a finger in my cervix. It did give me bad period pains all the rest of the day but they were gone when I woke up.
Got to go back for another attempt next week Confused

Gastons wife - I hope the walk helped.

BakerBear - I slept for four hours this afternoon even though I had a good night's sleep. I still feel shattered!

Hi topkitty Sorry to hear about the failed sweep, mine doesn't seem to have worked either if if it's any consolation. Only consistent symptom seems to be back ache but that could just be from being heavily pregnant!

Been for 2 walks today and quite achey now, pubic bone hurts!

Have also made bread and flapjacks. Yum!

Hope your OH is back soon crumble

40+1 today. Fed up of all the texts asking if anything happening yet Hmm

TopKittyKat · 15/04/2017 18:27

I'm with you with the pubic bone pain!

Oh bread and flapjacks sound delicious!

I think DH is getting most of the texts asking for news. I must be giving off hormonal pregnant lady 'stop pestering me' vibes Grin

TopKitty fingers crossed the sweep next week gets things moving. I am exhausted too these last few days. Had an nap today and know I'll be in bed for 9 or something tonight

Crumble any news on the dinner date? We are child free tomorrow so are going for Sunday lunch. Hurrah!

Let's hope we get a little Easter bunny between is tomorrow!!!

38+0 here and fed up. Exhausted all the time but sleeping is hard....whichever side I lie on my hip soon begins to ache badly and get sciatica-like shooting pains down the leg, so spend minutes trying to heave over onto my other side, which is when SPD pain bites. Plus nose constantly blocked and belly too massive to stand or walk for long. Does anyone else get this hip pain?

Also think yesterday was my last bath pre-baby! Bump and boobs too huge to be submerged so I got cold lol! And getting in and out is borderline dangerous. Cake for all the megapreggos out there Smile

Theknittinggorilla · 16/04/2017 07:51

Hi here - I get the hip pain - sleeping on top of a doubled up duvet helps a bit for some reason!

Report
marmitecheesetoast · 16/04/2017 13:57

I second sleeping on top of a folded up duvet... which is on top of a mattress topper!!! Still wake up every 1-2 hours to turn over though and have been since mid-December Sad

Had a bath with clary sage in it this morning... have discovered getting on to all 4s is much easier/safer way to get out the bath!!

Hope you enjoyed Nando's crumble even though it didn't do anything.

I think I will be pregnant forvever too herewegoagain!

I'm still drinking loads of RLT and have had quite a lot of sexy time with DH last few days - he thinks it's great ha ha. Going to make a curry for dinner tonight and I have a pineapple that needs eating!

Only 'symptoms' so far is that yesterday I was suddenly an emotional hormonal wreck crying over everything (including DH trimming his beard too short Hmm) and I've not really been up and down or teary in pregnancy at all. Plus looser poos (sorry if tmi!) and intermittent mild back ache. I think psychologically going past the due date has just made me go a bit nuts. Everything is so in limbo isn't it?!

is anyone else having any potential signs today?

40 weeks today & nothing seems to be happening. Awake all night nearly wondering if I'm going into labour or are my waters breaking! Getting bit anxious about labour but need to remember the end result!

Anyone's belly look smaller / narrower? Mine does and got a bit freaked out but baby is moving so think it's my belly has dropped!

Back in hospital on Tuesday

Happy Easter everyone

Report
GastonsWife · 16/04/2017 17:37

peanut my belly looked really traingular earlier. Like I had swollowed the worlds biggest toblerome whole! marmite I cried today because OH accused me of getting chocolate on the sofa (I hadn't, there was no chocolate on his precious sofa 😓). Back has felt a bit spasmy today but that's about it 😭. No easter bunny for us 😭

Report
marmitecheesetoast · 16/04/2017 18:04

Hi peanut I was thinking my bump looks smaller too, I think cos it's dropped even further now maybe?

Aw gaston!

I'm just so impatient to see if this baby is a boy or a girl now and what they look like, I'm getting so impatient!
