I'm officially tired, fat and ready to pop. Anyone else want to check in together for the final count down? Shock

@justanotheryoungmother does your tummy shelf try and sabotage your efforts to keep the house clean by kicking the crumbs off? If so then yes, we may be the same person 😂

justanotheryoungmother · 28/04/2017 21:17

@IDontLookMyAge76 Not only that, I have the same symptoms as you (all of them), although I'm exactly a week behind you; I'm so done with it by now that I can't imagine how you feel!Sad

IDontLookMyAge76 · 28/04/2017 21:38

@justanotheryoungmother currently feeling like a giant beetle stuck on its back ie just got into bed and struggling to turn over onto my side 😑 I've definitely felt more mobile before anyways 😁

DirtyDancing · 28/04/2017 21:57

Congrats coloured! So glad to hear of the safe arrival of baby Felix. See you on the post natal thread soon.. I hope! Come on baby! I'm now 41 + 1 and sweep did nothing Hmm

Coloured that is wonderful news!! Congratulations and I love the name!!!

Well nothing going on here Hmm. Walked for ages yesterday, up and down the stairs countless times, ball bouncing, dtd and had a spicy hot curry. Only thing I achieved was exhaustion, a sore back and a poo Blush(which I am actually really chuffed about since I haven't been in 7 days!!)

I'm pretty much out of options and 40+3 now. Going to try and forget about im this weekend and just relax with friends and DH. Baby says no then no it is I guess.

Fingers crossed for you all today's D overnight - hoping for some more good news in the morning!

DirtyDancing · 29/04/2017 15:22

Whogives I'm right there with you! Nothing happening Congrats on the poo tho! 😂 LOL

Second sweep today. Different MW who was definitely more rigorous this time. But again, not even a single cramp after. She said baby is low, all favourable tho so we shall see.

Ooh fingers crossed dirtydancing!!! Hopefully tonight then with any luck.

Yeah sorry for the tmi but I felt a real sense of achievement 😂😂😂 oh to be back to normal and regain some dignity 😳

peanutbutter310 · 30/04/2017 03:29

Time for me to move across to the post-natal thread as well. DD was born yesterday afternoon, narrowly escaping the induction that was booked for this morning!

DirtyDancing · 30/04/2017 09:35

Peanut! Congrats! Hope you and DD are doing really well xx

GastonsWife · 30/04/2017 11:11

Congratulations Peanut Flowers

peanutbutter310 · 30/04/2017 11:12

No name yet whogives. Have spent the night and morning recovering in hospital enjoying all the lovely newborn snuggles Smile

TopKittyKat · 30/04/2017 11:32

Congrats Peanut

Well done for avoiding the induction.

Enjoy your newborn snuggles.

IAmALionTamer · 30/04/2017 11:49

Huge congratulations to peanut! I hope to be joining you all on the post natal thread in the next week or so!
My due date was yesterday, I don't feel like anything is imminent, but baby is very low & feeling lots of pressure so hopefully not too much longer

TopKittyKat · 30/04/2017 11:51

Ohh good luck Lion I hope your baby doesn't keep you waiting much longer.

DirtyDancing · 30/04/2017 16:08

I'm 41 + 3, 2 sweeps and another tomorrow. I just accept now, I have overdue babies and this isn't going to happen naturally Sad

TopKittyKat · 30/04/2017 20:43

Oh no. Sorry to hear that Dirty Dancing.

Fingers crossed tomorrow's sweep will surprise you and work. Good luck!

marmitecheesetoast · 01/05/2017 01:02

Hi guys just hopping on quickly to say sorry for radio silence and the delay but we had our baby girl on evening of Wednesday 26th! I went into labour on the Tuesday morning in the end, the day before the planned induction!!! She kept us all waiting! It started with the nausea and diahhrea and mild contractions came on soon after. Labour was ok-ish using pool and g&a but ended up with emergency forceps delivery in theatre. It's all been a bit hectic since hence the delay in updating. We're still in hospital as have both been quite poorly but well on the mend now and hopefully home in next day or two.

Will need to have a read through and catch up but for now congrats to all the other new mummies and hope those in waiting aren't going too insane - just goes to show when you've completely given up hope you can suddenly go into labour with no warning signs right at the very last minute!!

TopKittyKat · 01/05/2017 03:10

Congratulations marmite. I had been wondering how you were getting on.

Sorry to hear you've been unwell and I hope you get home soon. Flowers

peanutbutter310 · 01/05/2017 04:37

Congrats marmite! Am sorry to hear that you have a bit more recovery to do, but hopefully you're both still well enough to enjoy these special first few days together!

Lion & Dirty, hope things start to move soon for you both!

IAmALionTamer · 01/05/2017 22:17

Congrats marmite!! I had a forceps delivery with my first & can clearly remember the discomfort afterwards. I hope you have a speedy recovery & that little ones head isn't too sore Flowers
No movement here, lots of little period cramps but nothing progressing. I've spent the long weekend dodging phonecalls, texts and hiding from my neighbours who like to comment on my pregnancy every time I walk out of the house Angry DH and I have been shagging every night in the hope to get things going but no luck!!!
It's our wedding anniversary on Thursday so part of me thinks that he or she may show up then.
Dirty I hope the 3rd sweep did the job for you X

DirtyDancing · 03/05/2017 10:13

Our little baby girl was born at 1.56am this morning. I had a rather intense, drug free birth; we are both doing okay, but very tired.

OP posts:
IAmALionTamer · 04/05/2017 17:43

Congrats dirty! Did you go into labour naturally or were you induced in the end?
I'll be joining you all on the post natal thread as I also welcomed a baby girl yesterday Star 7lbs 13oz of gorgeousness. Definitely worth the wait!
Hope all of those still waiting go into labour soon xx

whogivesaratzass · 04/05/2017 22:27

Huge congrats ladies!!!

Sweep tomorrow at 9 days overdue - come on baby!!!

IAmALionTamer · 05/05/2017 09:20

Good luck whogives I hope the sweep does the trick Wink
