I'm officially tired, fat and ready to pop. Anyone else want to check in together for the final count down? Shock

I reckon you will be the next one Marmite how far along are you? I can't believe I'm getting excited for someone else getting mucus on tissue paper! I just ordered 120 tea bags! Hopefully that will see us through!

DirtyDancing I hope you don't mind me sharing here but I was just on the baby names thread and saw what you are calling your baby! It's the most gorgeous name!

Georgejrobyn1992 · 18/04/2017 14:54

39 weeks and 4 days still no baby 😩

marmitecheesetoast · 18/04/2017 14:57

Haha Gaston! Trying not to get too excited. We shall see. 40+4 today and not really had many other signs.

Ooh what's the name Dirtydancing? Although understand if you don't want to share! We are sorted for a girls name but stuck for a boys name which makes me think we are having a boy!!

I'm sat in the garden with a jug of iced raspberry leaf tea... to think I used to make Pimms in this jug!!

crumblequeen · 18/04/2017 15:00

I am envious of the mucus, nothing at all here!

We have no name yet, we like a lot of girls names but haven't been able to to settle on one so will choose when she is born. We have three boys between us so the arrival of a girl in the families is much awaited!

GastonsWife · 18/04/2017 15:04

Marmite stop making me jealous! My baby addled brain can't figure out how to order my bloody tea on prime!
Boys names are really hard! I loved Jesse and Bailey but OH said they both sounded like girls names! Luckily we are having a girl, girls names are just easier I think!

TopKittyKat · 18/04/2017 16:52

Come on ladies, share some of your girls names options. DH and I are completely stuck. We can agree on a boys name but we're having a girl.

Just been for a second sweep. This one was successful at least but she said my cervix was very high and firm still so labour probably isn't imminent. It was less painful than Friday's attempted sweep which is good.

I'm booked in for induction on Friday morning. Fingers crossed she'll arrive before then as I really wanted to go to the midwife led birthing centre.

Marmite - I too am envious of your muccousy toilet paper!

GastonsWife · 18/04/2017 16:58

Girls names I loved but can't use are:
Georgia (been my dream name since I was a little girl but OH has a cousin with that name)
Sienna (She's having OH's surname so that would give her a name identical to the actress)
Thea (My friend's little girl is called this and I don't want her to have to "live up" so someone)
Time for Pilates maybe if I stretch enough this baby will pop out! Have a lovely evening ladies!

TopKittyKat · 18/04/2017 17:08

Oooh I like Georgia. I'll see what DH thinks when he's home.

Enjoy your Pilates.

crumblequeen · 18/04/2017 18:31

We like Lucy, Matilda, Sophie. We were set on Madeleine but OH can't get over the McCann link. I like Thea but he doesn't and I like Georgina.

DirtyDancing · 18/04/2017 20:40

Gastons not at all. I love the fact it's anonymous on here. In real life only my DH and I know we are having a girl.. it's been our little secret since we found out at the scan and it's been lots of fun trying to not say her and she! Lol

So we have chosen Suri. We actually have always loved this name, long since when we first got together we said if we had a girl we would call her Suri Grin we are still completely stuck on a middle name tho. It's funny, there are loads of girls names I have always liked, but now I need to choose one for my little girl I've gone off them all!!! Ha ha

DirtyDancing - that is a beautiful name!

Crumble - I like your shortlist but can't pinch them as I have close friends who have used those names. That's part of our problem, all of our friends have had girls and we're running out of names!

DirtyDancing · 18/04/2017 20:56

In case any of these hit the right note.. here are some other girls names I like and some which friends have used..

Erin
Maggie
Seren
Ava
Amalie
Sienna
Farryn
Isla

Hmmm lots of potentials there. Thanks DirtyDancing
Does anyone else find it a huge responsibility picking a name? It's so hard!

DirtyDancing · 18/04/2017 21:15

TopKitty I really do, and i find it really nerve wracking 'announcing' the name. What if people don't like it etc. Mostly worried about my Mum liking it!

OP posts:
GastonsWife · 18/04/2017 21:23

My mum cried when I told her the name we chose! The middle name is Neve, which was my mum's maiden name and obviously her parents name. Neither of them are with us anymore unfortunatly but they helped raise me so it felt important to include them :-)

TopKittyKat · 18/04/2017 21:49

Aww that's lovely Gaston

Theknittinggorilla · 18/04/2017 22:01

Hello everyone!
Section went very smoothly and much to our surprise we had a baby girl! Had been convinced we were having boy number 3 so a lovely surprise. Haven't quite agreed a name yet but most likely Francesca. Stuck on a middle name though so any ideas welcome.

Feeling very relieved and happy she is here. Fingers crossed for those in limbo that things get going tonight! And hope HL's section went well

DirtyDancing · 18/04/2017 22:04

Congratulations Gorilla! Beautiful name and so wonderful to have a girl for you!

That is really beautiful Gaston and it's such a lovely name

crumblequeen · 18/04/2017 22:28

Congratulations gorilla lovely name!

HLBug · 18/04/2017 22:51

Miss Polly was born at 4.22 weighing 7lb 5oz. All ok although she's struggling to take to the boob so I can see us switching to bottle soon enough. Glad you're ok too gorilla.

DirtyDancing · 18/04/2017 23:02

HL great news!!! Congrats and good luck with feeding x

marmitecheesetoast · 19/04/2017 07:27

Ahh congratulations gorilla and HL! Hope Peanut is doing ok and has a lovely baby in her arms now too!

Nothing more happening here. Other than a crap night's sleep and think I'm hatching DH's lurgy so feeling fairly hacked off and (probably unfairly!) annoyed with him.

40+5 today and just feel the weight of the induction which is booked a week today hanging over me Sad would be so gutted not to go into labour naturally and try for a pool birth

throughgrittedteeth · 19/04/2017 08:03

Morning, congratulations gorilla!
Slept really well last night, for the first time in aaaages.
Feeling really sensitive today though and just had a cry because I didn't feel like DP really meant that he'd miss me whilst at work and was only saying it to please me... He didn't see me cry thank god. So fed up now 😑

GastonsWife · 19/04/2017 08:20

Congratulations on all the new babies 👶🏻👶🏻
grittedteeth I am positive DP will miss you when he is at work! I cried yesterday because OH was going to be half an hour late from work meaning I wouldn't see him till I got back from the gym 😂
