@Teabagtits good luck today! And try not to worry about the lack of sleep- I had two nights of shit sleep on an antenatal ward before mine and it was still no doubt better than an exhausting labour! Grin

ja73 · 15/06/2017 08:03

Smile Good luck @teabagtits. Thinking of you today

DonnaLynne · 15/06/2017 08:04

Lots of luck today @Teabagtits 💖

Teabagtits · 15/06/2017 09:01

Thank you ladies. Am now lying in bed and am next to go down. I think I have a cold brewing though. Runny nose and sore throat. All I need.

Gizmojo · 15/06/2017 10:25

Good luck, teabag! Hope the cold comes to nothing. Will be thinking of you x

Hope it went well teabag and you and mini tea are doing okay?

PingusMistress · 15/06/2017 14:32

Hi all, just catching up with the thread as I'm on hols in Menorca with patchy internet! Having a lovely time but will need to make DH destroy the bikini photos, my hips and thighs seem to have swollen up as much as my belly Blush

Congratulations cake on your beautiful baby boy, he is adorable!

Hope the section has gone smoothly teabag and you are having lots of cuddles with your little one.

Welcome to all the new joiners, lovely to see you here.

Thanks everyone for the reassurance about talipes. Most stories I read on forums like these are very positive, it is just Dr Google that is full of doom and gloom. Time to turn him off and continue enjoying my pregnancy I think!

DonnaLynne · 15/06/2017 16:20

Hi @Ginlinessisnexttogodliness isn't it a beautiful feeling, when I was having my other three I'd lie in the bath for hours because it always seemed to wake them up, and I'd watch them wriggling around and sometimes try and make out a little foot 🤗

Teabagtits · 15/06/2017 21:47

Thabks for the wishes everyone.

Baby Caleb Joseph was born weighing a teeny 7lb 2oz (not 95%+ as scan said) and is just awesome.

He doesn't move at all when he sleeps and sleeps a lot which a counts for his reduced foetal movements all the time when he was in my tummy.

Im still in a state of shock that a real human being appeared.

Teabagtits · 15/06/2017 21:51

Does anyone have a link to the TTC over 40 thread? I can't find it on search

Aww, lovely news, congratulations mummy @Teabagtits !

SleepFreeZone · 18/06/2017 10:05

This pregnancy really is the weirdest one I've had yet I think. I can't believe there is anything in there at all as I feel completely normal. Not even bloated now. I decided to order a couple of those weeks indicator tests as I'm assuming it's a non viable pregnancy but my body hasn't realised yet. I know they're not fool proof but at least they might give me a hint as to what's going on in there.

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/06/2017 16:55

Congrats @teabagtits

My dd was 7.3 after being told was having a big 9/10 lb baby

weasledee · 19/06/2017 11:00

Hello ladies, I'm booked in for an early scan this evening, both excited and nervous.....
Never bothered in the past but the age factor makes me more worried this time, fingers crossed..... Smile

ja73 · 19/06/2017 13:12

Good luck @weasledee! I remember being very nervous at my first scan too. I couldn't look at the screen until i saw the smile on my partner's face as he saw the heartbeat. Let us know how you get on :)

PingusMistress · 19/06/2017 15:51

Good luck with the scan @weasledee . Let us know how it goes.

It's getting increasingly difficult for me to get up off the floor now (I spend a lot of time down there with my toddler)! At least without going "oof" at the same time. 21+2 today. The second trimester is really flying by.

AsereT123 · 19/06/2017 16:03

Hey, I'm new to this thread but defo belong here (at a geriatric 44!).
Im 21+1 today with my first - after 6 years ttc.
@PingusMistress we must have the same EDD.
Glad I'm not alone as the only over 40!!!!! :)

weasledee · 19/06/2017 20:31

Just back from my early scan and all is fine. Saw a little heartbeat and confirmed there's only one in there!!!
Suddenly feels more real....! :)

ja73 · 19/06/2017 20:43
