Hi everyone, I'm 45, 3 DS aged 21, 18 and 16, found out on Friday that I'm 5 weeks pregnant, I'm absolutely over the moon, my bOH doesn't have any children and he cried like a baby with joy when we found out Smile I'm so panicky today after a weekend of absolute happiness, I've had some mucous loss and cramping, can't remember if I did in my other pregnancies (so so long ago) anybody else have anything similar? It's been so lovely reading all your stories Smile sending everyone lots of love Flowers

weasledee · 12/06/2017 10:41

Hi Donna, congratulations and such a nice story :)
I'm only a couple of weeks ahead of you but yes I had cramps at around 5 weeks that made me think it was all ending.... still get the odd moment now.

DonnaLynne · 12/06/2017 11:10

I'm rooting for you @SleepFreeZone I'm in a similar position, I'm constantly checking my pants (sorry if that's tmi) that I'm not spotting and my boobs, took another test this morning to check again, fingers crossed Flowers

DonnaLynne · 12/06/2017 12:15

Thank you weasledee, lets keep hoping, I wish I felt "more pregnant" congratulations to you tooSmile

ja73 · 12/06/2017 12:42

Hi @donnalynne. I also had those symptoms at around week 5. They were the precursor to all the other "delightful" symptoms that followed! When they subsided at week 12 i was then worried about them having gone! And yes, I was, and still do, constantly checking my knickers, and bedsheets! If you're worried perhaps consider a private reassurance scan after 6 weeks. Good luck and welcome aboard the rollercoaster!! :)

DonnaLynne · 12/06/2017 12:46

Hi @ja73 thank you for your lovely message, the checking knickers comment made me smile Smilecongratulations on your pregnancy, how many weeks are you now? Definitely a roller coaster, didn't think I'd be going through this at 45 and can't believe how much I want it now that it's in my grasp, will definitely have an early scan, actually can't wait to feel sick Grin

Ginlinessisnexttogodliness · 12/06/2017 13:41

@Iusuallylovecake whoop whoop!!! Congratulations, he's a little cracker
So pleased for you. Enjoy the snuggles xxx 💐👶🏻❤️

SleepFreeZone · 12/06/2017 13:55

The thing that's really concerning me is the lack of white creamy discharge. I have had some dark mucus which has gone tan/yellow. I put that down to implantation and decided to not freak out. But other than that I am totally dry.

My understanding is the white discharge shows a good amount of progesterone. So of course if I'm not getting any then my progesterone might be low which means the pregnancy might fail 😬

DonnaLynne · 12/06/2017 14:16

@SleepFreeZone I can't remember having any discharge at all when I had my previous pregnancies which went very well xx

ja73 · 12/06/2017 14:54

Hi @donnalynne. I'm 14 weeks today and so far, so good! I braved the swimming pool this morning and was congratulated on my pregnancy by a stranger - so baby bump is clearly louder and prouder than I thought it was! I'm 43 and this is my first so had no idea what to expect. Apparently it was sore boobs and nausea! ;)

DonnaLynne · 12/06/2017 15:31

@ja73 Thats great news, always good to see the bump, it's a definite bonus! Good luck on your pregnancy and high five to you for having enough energy to swim this morning! Grin

Gizmojo · 12/06/2017 16:15

Welcome new ladies! DonnaLynne I didn't have much discharge either in the early days, just some orange (!) cm on a couple of days, which one of the ladies here told me might be implantation.

Teabags, not long for you now!! :) I'll keep my fingers crossed re the OC though. I'm ok thanks, feeling a bit waddly now but in surprisingly good form. Just can't wait for him to come now (although not quite finished sorting house, doing the washing etc, so I guess I shouldn't really say that. Lol)

Hi
I'm 44 and 16 weeks. I have a 6 year old Dd and 19 month DS. I'm feeling exhausted most of the time and can't remember when it lifted last time but I'm looking forward to feeling more energized soon. Also, I feel digestively challenged, feeling sick and bloated after eating and constipated. Apart from that, happy days!!

Cineraria · 13/06/2017 14:40

What a lovely baby photo, cake. He's beautiful. What a tease though, staying the wrong way up right until the morning of delivery! I hope you're well and having lots of fun with him.

Congratulations to all the new people. Good luck!

I've finished work now, annual leave until mid July (accrued during my last maternity leave) and then maternity leave, so looking forward to having the summer with DS before I have two to look after.

Teabagtits · 14/06/2017 20:11

Well bile acids raised so dx'd likely OC and having section tomorrow morning. Proper shitting myself now. Thought I had another week

Iusuallylovecake · 14/06/2017 20:56

Good luck teabag you'll be fine. Even if you did have another week you probably wouldnt feel any more ready!! See you with a little one very soon!!!
Thank you for kind thoughts from everyone, he's an amazing little lump!!! Totally worth the rollercoaster of emotions, fear and stress. Hang in there ladies, rooting for each one of you. May pop in from time to time to see how you're doing xx

weasledee · 14/06/2017 21:04

Exciting teabag!! Good luck and looking forward to baby updates :)

KellyMarieTunstall2 · 14/06/2017 21:34

Good luck teabag!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/06/2017 21:51

Hope cs goes ok tomorrow @tea

Ginlinessisnexttogodliness · 14/06/2017 22:06

Best of luck for tomorrow teabag.
It will all be fine. Hope you get some sleep tonight, big day tomorrow!

Ginlinessisnexttogodliness · 14/06/2017 22:07

Am getting lots of tiny kicks and definite rolls now. Just like their brother and sister this baby is having a party in there already.

Never ceases to amaze me. Such a special feeling

Teabagtits · 14/06/2017 23:30

Thanks for the well wishes. Despite being exhausted I see no sleep on the horizon. And I could really use it tonight in case I don't sleep for five years😳

Teabagtits · 15/06/2017 04:33

Yup got no sleep so just got up. Not happy as oh moaned at me for keeping him awake, despite his bloody snoring. He's not the one having gone thro 9months of physical hell and insomnia and about to have his abdomen cut wide open then be expected to look after a baby right away....

Raging is not the word.
