Would the 30th be any better?

Might be best if we run with thursday or friday and see which date suits the majority?

trixymalixy · 13/08/2007 16:56

I'm off on holiday early on the morning of the 31st, so the 28th or 29th would probably be best for me as we are flying from Manchester so will set off on the thursday night.

geordiemacminx · 13/08/2007 17:02

Ok, 29th 30th or 31st anyone?

Where you off to trixy?

trixymalixy · 13/08/2007 17:39

geordiemacminx · 13/08/2007 17:40

bumble75 · 13/08/2007 18:35

Hi GMM,

Can probably make any of those days, happy to do Edinburgh or Glasgow, although if Glasgow I will need directions!

midnightexpress · 13/08/2007 18:49

Any of those dates good for me GMM.

So of your trip to Dordogne Trixy. We're off up north on Weds though, which is next best thing. Rain, puddles, rain, rain - at least ds1 will be in heaven.

midnightexpress · 13/08/2007 18:50

hi Luna btw!

Twins? Yikes!

geordiemacminx · 13/08/2007 19:21

Bumble - I could meet you somewhere and we could travel in convoy.
Loulee/WO - what exactly is the tramway - is there a website?

weeonion · 13/08/2007 22:39

i will be travelling trough teh city centre so could also meet up with folks. the 38 bus goes past it and it is a wee walk from bridge street station on the underground. it is off eglinton street in the southside.

GMM - The Tramway on Albert Drive and is also one stop on the train from Central Station (Pollokshields East station - trains about every 15 mins) and the station is right next door to the theatre. You go in the front door and just walk straight through to the cafe and the garden is out behind that. Very easy to find. Parking a bit rubbish but you can usually find somewhere nearby.

Here's a link to the website

myweegirl · 14/08/2007 11:27

hello - thought i'd post when i get the chance!

i had a wee girl called Heather on 7th aug weighing in at 9lb 5oz!! we just made it to hospital in time - she arrived exactly 8 min after we arrived!

she's settling in well and her big sister really taken to her.

Loulee · 14/08/2007 12:08

hey all, and congratulations myweegirl - wow, a big baby! hope it's all going well. my ds was born on 23rd july - hope youur sleeping is going better than mine!!

think any of those dates are good for me apart from 29th which is dd1's birthday.
hidden gardens has a website too www.thehiddengardens.org.uk which gives you a few pics of garden.

and hi luna - don't forget to add yourself to the stats

geordiemacminx · 14/08/2007 13:53

congrats myweegirl, what a beautiful name.... although I am a bit bias as thats my name

TALLULAHBELLE · 14/08/2007 15:01

Can do 29th & Tramway. 30th & 31st could be trickier but will try if that's maj vote.

Congrats to myweegirl & welcome Luna. Hope work went well today.

I am working tomorrow, just an inserv day, bit of a one off but will give me a taste of what will be like to go back for good

DD had her first jags today. Boy they seemed to really hurt.Felt so sorry for the poor wee mite. She is now sleeping - virtually unheard of around here. Have had lunch in peace , caught up on mumsnet & now about to get the house in some sort of order. Find myself looking forward to next batch of jags - am officially a BAD MOTHER .

midnightexpress · 14/08/2007 15:59

Congratulations myweegirl - hope it's all going well for you.

DS1 was like that when he had his jags tallulah - slept like a top for ages afterwards. DS2 made of sterner stuff though - yowls for a couple of minutes and then proceeds as if nothing had happened. Can't believe your dd is that big already!

liath · 15/08/2007 08:35

I can do any of the dates I think & would probably get the train through to Glasgow, could maybe meet some folk at Central Station & go in convoy?

Congratulations myweegirl, hope everything's going well .

my2weegirls · 16/08/2007 15:57

thank you very much - baby is settling in well, so far is very content and only screaches when she's hungry (long may it last).

weeonion · 16/08/2007 17:53

congrats my2wee - glad it has all gone so well. xo

LWandLottie · 17/08/2007 00:03

Can do 29th, 30th or 31st. Can't do the 28th as I'm in Bristol doing an exam There are trains into Glasgow every 30 minutes for me so shouldn't be a problem getting to Central station, from there on I'm lost. Will have to do my research

Anjo1 · 17/08/2007 13:25

hey everyone ! how are you all doing , hope everyone is okay , welcome to the newbies and congrats to My2weegirls!
I'm okay for any of those dates for the meet up , what ever suits everybody.
was looking back at the post about co-sleeping /night feeds .I feel a bit normal now ,was starting to worry that DS was the worst sleeper ever!! we've been trying the get Dad to do the night settling thing for the past couple of weeks , first week worked really well , second week not so good -not sure why ???
Like you loulee were Loulee , I have been practically kicked out my bed by a 6month old !!!
Trixy -have you had any more luck with formula feeding your DS ?
xxx

geordiemacminx · 17/08/2007 14:22

Rightyo lets go with 29th August at around 1.00pm

although obviously people can turn up when it suits them?

How about those that are getting the train to meet at central station?

trixymalixy · 17/08/2007 15:06

1pm is a bit early for me. I could get there for about 2.30-3ish if everybody will stil be there by then?
