user1483558208 · 10/01/2017 18:33

Need help working out who my unborn baby's dad is? My lmp was 23/11/16. I had sex with guy #1 on the 3/12/16 & 9/12/16, he didn't ejaculate inside of me. I had sex with guy #2 on 4/12/16 and the next few days, he ejaculated in me every time we had sex. I probably ovulated on the 7th/8th. who could be my child's father?

There's absolutely no way to tell. You'll have to have a DNA test when the baby is born.

Does your partner know about the other man?

BrieAndChilli · 10/01/2017 19:32

I think if you hold a picture up of the potential father to your tummy the baby will kick if it's the picture of the daddy!!! Hmm

HelenDenver · 10/01/2017 19:33

BBJ

Yes, agreed, caused by the op unless either instance was non consensual.

She knows that, though; judging her won't change it.

JustSpeakSense · 10/01/2017 19:35

It could be either, as you were ovulating and fertile when you were with both.

There would have been sperm present even if #1 didn't ejaculate.

Obviously a lot more sperm present with #2 though because he ejaculated multiple times inside you.

If both men have healthy 'swimmers' it's probably #2, however if #1 is a lot more fertile for some reason it may well be his. How long have you and #2 been trying to conceive?

flumpybear · 10/01/2017 19:37

Honestly, if you didn't use a condom for either it could be either, as pp have said sperm can survive 5 days possibly longer (if my dates are anything to go by then as my husband was out of the country the sperm must have survived around a week, or longer as my dates if ovulation were considered wrong compared to the size of the baby at 6 weeks) .... if the men are of different races then it would likely be easy to tell, failing that DNA test.

Lumberries · 10/01/2017 19:38

Could be either, most likely 2.

Underthemoonlight · 10/01/2017 19:39

I would say there's a higher percentage that it guy 2 although you need to be completely honest with both of them about the situation. I would also maybe get a STI check with having unprotected sex with both men aswell you don't know who they've been with either. I would book a DNA once baby is born.

hoddtastic · 10/01/2017 19:41

jesus. poor bastard. "lucky" kid.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 10/01/2017 19:44

It was just the two guys and yes I know when I ovulated I know my body very well and keep track as me and my partner were trying for a baby.

Then I hope your partner knows you have had unprotected sex with someone else.

flumpybear · 10/01/2017 19:46

Hodd- bit harsh, we all make mistakes from time to time - bad choices about many things - OPs trying to rationalise and sort it

Grim.

hoddtastic · 10/01/2017 19:53

not really- you can see how this plays out though, time and again.

I couldn't give a fuck if she was shagging entire regiments daily, but to do so when TTC (which might imply that there is some attempt at an honest, lasting relationship in which to raise the kid) it's a shitshow.

again, poor kid, poor cuckold. No sympathy at all for the OP

Nicnak2223 · 10/01/2017 19:53

No way to know that 1 of the guys isn't Ops partner.

Op you need a dna test -

DeepestBlues · 10/01/2017 19:54

Maybe the OP is in a same-sex relationship?

Patriciathestripper1 · 10/01/2017 19:56

Ask Jeramy Kyle ?

UnicornButtplug · 10/01/2017 19:57

I would say more likely #2 but get a dna test after the birth.

No one know the ops circumstances so giving her a hard time right now won't help anyone.

Lunar1 · 10/01/2017 19:57

Absolutely no way to tell from your dates. Are you ok good terms with both men, did you consent to sex with them both?

Could be either, my 11yo DS is proof the withdrawal method does not work!

Solasum · 10/01/2017 19:59

Prenatal DNA test will be about £1000, plus you will need to tell at least one of the men as they will need to provide DNA. They do the same procedure as for genetic testing, e.g. Stick a needle through your abdomen into the placenta. 1 in 100 chance of miscarriage.

Have you considered termination?

hoddtastic · 10/01/2017 20:12

right, her and her partner were trying for a baby, talk me through how that happens Deepest without looking like you are trying to find offence for the sake of it?

;)

kellyhayes84 · 10/01/2017 20:22

Just wow........

user1481490957 · 10/01/2017 20:29

Have you seen bridgit Jones's baby?

pinkyredrose · 10/01/2017 20:32

Did you deliberately have unprotected sex in the hope of getting pregnant? Have you not heard of STIs?
