Just woke up and Ive had a clean round made myself a cuppa and I've laid myself back on the bed in the dark lol
I can feel little tiny kicks now and then and I'm just so happy that he's in there.
All the misery I've been through now seems like some sort of fate as it's this little fatty that's the one I was supposed to have and worship his little bones ❤️

To everyone struggling, as hopeless and dark as some of your moments may feel, the only answer is to keep on moving forward, it may very well be hard to see through the pain and take those steps but you have to, just think of it as every movement you make, its towards the baby your supposed to be holding xxxx

That's so great Bec!!

I've had an eventful night!.... OH was on his work xmas do, he's a pe teacher so they basically go out and pretend they are at university all over again and get wasted one night a year... he comes home at 1 with someone from his department who is sleeping on our sofa (I did know!) they obviously wake me up talking so loudly and then engaging me in a conversation while I'm in bed about subway... and how they don't toast them after midnight (like I care!)
Then after my OH climbs into be and passes out I just lie there wide awake... he snores so loud I kick, turn him etc and nothing works. So I then take the duvet and sleep ON THE FLOOR of what will be the baby room. I obviously don't sleep. I come back to our room at 4 and he is still drunk talking shit. Finally I manage to sleep from about half 4-6. Now I'm shattered!

Hope everyone else had a better nights sleep!!

m33r · 10/12/2016 08:44

Hi ladies. Can I join? I have one DS but have had two MCs (both 7weeks ish) in the last year and one cp. I'm now 5 weeks and have an early scan on 29th Dec. I have no idea how I feel but when ttc my son (took 20 months) MN saved my sanity!

So sorry for those who have blood at the moment. I know for a fact I cpulndn't relax but really hope the reassurances of others' who have been ok with bleeding and early scans can offer some reassurance xx

Catlady100 · 10/12/2016 08:56

Hi all - hope you are all okay. It's my harmony test today and I'll get a scan too. Had a scan exactly two weeks ago and I'm terrified something has happened in between. 😣 x

doleritedinosaur · 10/12/2016 09:40

I really need to do a big catch up. Sorry for those with troubles & struggling.

Welcome m33r, were you on the ttc board? Thought I recognised your name.

Good luck today Catlady, the anxiety before the scans can be ruthless, hope it goes okay for you.

Jpeg that sounds awful, OH came back from work at 1pm & woke me up after me asking him to relax downstairs. So when DS woke up coughing at 5am I practically threw him on him. I slept on the sofa from 6am but with only ten good weeks of sleep left, I'm practically sobbing.

I've got an awful cold & oh the sneezing is awful with all the pressure on my bladder. I'm third trimester now & my bump moves with such force. I feel like I look huge but all the movements I get are really good. Been reading news articles & DS story times are over the bump.
Less than a week until my Anti D & 28 week bloods then 4 weeks until the scan to find out how new baby is coming out. It's coming around fast.

Hope everyone has a good day & prioritise sleep!

jpeg28 · 10/12/2016 10:35

Good luck catlady... everything crossed for you.

Welcome Mrs33 really hope this pg works out for you.

dolerite its really close to the end for you now! How exciting!! That sounds like you had an awful night too! I think by the time I'm 30 weeks my OH will be on the sofa permanently!! I have a cold too and sneezing and coughing hurts so much! Every time I sneeze it's like I've broken a rib!!

Managed to escape the house early, got the car cleaned and treated myself to a lovely decaffe coffee before pilates... I'm dreading returning to my hungover boyfriend who keeps messaging me saying he is "ill"... yeah right!

XxBecxX · 10/12/2016 10:45

Welcome mrs33, I'm wishing you the best in this oh xx

I'm rofling at you jpeg, I hate it when the hubby gets drunk, the smell and the absolute crap they talk lol
I just had a realisation that the baby's movements have picked up at the exact time I've started to eat more sugary stuff, I've had a fancy for chocolate dessert and chocolate, wonder if it's related?
On the scan advice I had for the gender they advise eating a chocolate bar 30mins before the scan, hmmm interesting lol

Good luck today cat xxx

XxBecxX · 10/12/2016 10:47

Oh and Dino I'm laffin at you to thinking that you've half a hope of 10 good weeks of sleep left lol lol
As if, i think you've forgotten the woes of being too pregnant to even get comfortable let alone sleep lol
the joys! Lol xx

doleritedinosaur · 10/12/2016 13:01

That's why I figured ten weeks Bec haha! That takes me up to 37, I've got my long pillow which does help.

Also forgot to say new baby has dance parties when I have chocolate.

Hope Pilates goes well Jpeg, my ribs don't seem as sore despite a baby butt or head there. I think the breathing exercises & DS's big butt stretched it there before. Colds are just awful when pregnant.

I'm back in bed now with Gilmore Girls & oranges. New baby is enjoying all the lying down.

MrsAlanPartridge · 10/12/2016 13:50

Hello Smile Joining as am 8 weeks pregnant.. I've had several MC, the last 2 were MMC- so trying not to think the worst this time around. My symptoms appear to have reduced the last couple of days and I am struggling to keep positive.
I am older this time around- 42- which adds to the mix Confused
Argghh

XxBecxX · 10/12/2016 14:12

Lol dino I'm sending you the best snoozy thoughts possible lol

Welcome AlanP, congratulations on this new pg, so many of us gals have had disappearing symptoms only for them to return 2 days later, honestly you can't trust them, just like a bleed isn't definitively bad news as so many have hasn't that also.
Good luck with tho and one and I'm hear for you xxx

Catlady100 · 10/12/2016 14:36

Thanks for your support Smile just back from harmony and scan was all fine. Get the result of blood test in 3-5 days. She did the unchallenged measurement though and said it was fine so that's something. She gave me the pics and I put them straight in my bag - when I got home and looked at them I had the shock of my life - the top one was a 3D scan of a baby that looked full term. Then I realised it wasn't my name on the top and she had given me someone else's! The rest were mine though. Phew Grin cat x

Catlady100 · 10/12/2016 14:37

Unchallenged = nuchal sigh

Catlady100 · 10/12/2016 14:39

Hi Alanp my symptoms died down at around that point too. I don't think too much can be read into it but it's hard not to worry about it 😢 cat x

INeedNewShoes · 10/12/2016 14:48

Great news Cat Smile That must have been quite a surprise to see the wrong scan pic!

Catlady100 · 10/12/2016 15:08

It was a bit! Hoping the next lady doesn't get one of mine! 😂 x

XxBecxX · 10/12/2016 18:05

Well done cat xx

mikesh909 · 10/12/2016 22:44

Hi everyone,

Most of you won't remember me as it's been a while since I posted but this thread (earlier versions of) got me through the anxiety-ridden days of early pregnancy when I couldn't talk about it at all in real life.

Our girl was born on Tuesday morning, healthy and beautiful. I just wanted to tell you all, but most especially anyone who is waiting for their first, how absolutely worth it everything is. Anyone who's seen my posts will know I whined my way through most of pregnancy and failed at staying positive for most of the time. Get through it however you can, it is so so worth it at the end.

fuzzywuzzy · 10/12/2016 23:07

Mike congratulations, hope you're enjoying your babymoon. Really love hearing success stories.

Catlady so glad your scan went well and you have that reassurance.

Hope everyone's having a restful weekend. Our crazy kittens wake us up at 7am (& that's a lie in), so much craziness all wrapped up in furry cuteness.

m33r · 11/12/2016 08:09

Great news all is well cat! How weird with the other woman's scan!

alanp so hard not to worry. I woke up this morning and didn't feel as queasy so did another CB and got 2-3 weeks so am pleased to see the weeks going up and have started to feel a bit more queasy now. Hoping to feel sick is such a strange thing to want so am really trying to enjoy not feeling ill ... am only 5+1 too so know how ridiculous I am. Have you had or got any early scans booked? X

XxBecxX · 11/12/2016 08:45

That's amazing news congrats mike xxx

Whatsername17 · 11/12/2016 09:04

Congrats, Mike! Enjoy every second x

doleritedinosaur · 11/12/2016 09:43

Congratulations Mike & enjoy this time.

That's great news on scan Cat aside from added scan photo.

Alan in those weeks symptoms are so up & down which is really hard especially as in a way they're reassurance.

Still full of cold & so is DS & now OH is saying he's ill & he's worse than DS when he's ill. I actually can't cope with him as he does such a Victorian lady in bed kind of thing. Can't wait for this cold to go.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday.

NetflixandBill · 11/12/2016 09:45

Congrats mike!

Feeling so desperate for my 8w scan on Wednesday now. Symptoms are on and off at the minute. I'm getting starving, then full really fast; sore boobs; occasional mild nausea; vivid dreams and period pains. Thankfully no bleeding this time but that in itself isn't too reassuring, as i had lots of spotting throughout with pg2 and it actually progressed further than pg1 where i had no spotting at all until 9w.

I also feel very fat!! Had a few comments from people who know saying that i shouldn't be exercising (spinning and bodycombat twice a week) but i'm not listening to them. I did zero exercise with both other pgs and it made not a jot of difference to the outcome, apart from me gaining almost half a stone during this year! I'm proud of myself for sticking to this exercise routine since October, and who knows- it might actually be doing some good.

Thanks for reading that ramble if you got that far Blush

jpeg28 · 11/12/2016 12:01

Congrats mike! It's so lovely hearing success stories!

m33r my symptoms were so up and down in the first 12 weeks. Some days I felt awful, my boobs were painful etc, other days I was fine and I worried so much!! And you are not ridiculous at all!

I got myself up early today and went to the gym at 8.30... first time in a long time! Saw a photo of my from a xmas do I had yesterday with my friends and my face was so fat! It's all I could think of all night!! Off shopping now with my sister who is the most selfish self centred person in the universe... will be a fun afternoon!!

Hope everyone's having relaxing Sundays!
