I don't know why it's not letting me add pics so here's another try now I'm on the website page instead... 1 of baby today and 1 of bump today at 20+2.

Congratulations on a boy moonlight & such a little neat bump as well.

ginger it is perfectly natural to keep checking my, obsession can turn you though but like Whatser has said before "Today I am pregnant" is a really mantra.
Hope your anxiety eases up for you, it is hard & don't worry about self centred.

Gingerbreadmam · 13/01/2017 20:17

Thanks dino

Lovely bump moon very cute scan too.

XxBecxX · 13/01/2017 20:50

Omg moon that's got to be one of the best scan pics ever!!
And another boy yeyyyy!!!
Have you any names in the mix yet?

Rofling at you ginge and the knicker drying 😂 Isn't it mad how we lose our sanity so quickly during pregnancy lol

Watser I was convinced you where in labour, hurry up lol the excitement is too much for me lol

That bag I put up for Lynsey earlier was an absolute bargain and it was a wheelie case too, I ordered myself one from Amazon for £23 then found that brown one a bit too late.
It's supposedly arriving tomoz, I bought some nice towels for me in the sainso's sale and matching flannels so I've thrown them on a wash this evening ready to start packing, got toiletries and pads etc today so it's just the clothing and slippers to buy for me next.
I will feel somewhat organised to have a packed bag 🙃
I put my pram up yesterday when it arrived and I love it, wasn't happy with my crib tho as an integral piece was missing so I've got to wait for that to come tomoz.
All the baby's bits are in the front bedroom which I'm going to decorate for our 4yr old and the baby, obviously unlikely for the new baby to be in there for a few years but it's handy having the space empty at the mo for all the baby's bits lol
The girls are screaming blue murder that they now have to share but they are both so filthy I'm not bothered lol they say boys are dirty but my girls are awful!
My eldest daughter is 13 and she would (if allowed) have bath and put on 3 day old pyjamas again 😷 I really don't know where she gets that from, I'm pretty clean and very tidy, I wash all the beds every 3 days and as we have frank still in with us I change our sheet each day also, went into the girls room yesterday and our 8yr old had no cover on her duvet and I said watever happened there? She was like it fell off, I said when, she said the other day, I just couldn't believe she had slept like that for days like a squatter lol
Oh the joys lol

ImGonnaSingTheDoomSongNow · 13/01/2017 21:10

Lovely pics moonlight
My "bump" looks as big as yours already as I'm so horribly bloated but I'm only 10+5 !

fuzzywuzzy · 13/01/2017 21:31

Moonlight that's such a lovely picture and I love your bump it's so neat.

I'm currently heading towards whale proportions I swear this baby is making my aree grow!

Hope everyone is well Ive been utterly exhausted and busy over the past few days. Thank god it's the weekend tomorrow!

Sah1987 · 13/01/2017 22:40

Took me ages to find the group - but have now requested to join.

I had brown discharge from week 6-8 for no reason baby is now happy at 21+1, bouncy around on my bladder keeping me awake.

As all the ladies have said this group is great for reassurance and just positivity. Really has gotten me through.

I've relented and joined may due date group now, just because I want a bit of feeling normal, it still feels like I'm different even though I know that's all in my head and think it might help, but don't wanna lose you ladies and your reassuring words

amiuptheduff · 13/01/2017 22:44

hey lovely ladies, just been reading all your good news and positivity...but also reassuring to know other people are or have been anxious. i had a miscarriage at 8 weeks in November of last year and MVA to finally clear everything early December. I've not had a period yet and took a pregnancy test this morning and it came up as 1-2 weeks. i only did one because oh said my boobs felt "full" (sorry tmi)
im struggling to feel at all positive as dont want to get my hopes up again. my other concern now though is im due to move to switzerland at the beginning of February for 2 months so i do not know how the booking in and scan thing will work. if CB says 1-2 weeks then that is 3-4 in doctor speak? so what is the earliest i can get a scan? is there a way to get one before i go, or will it still be too early to know uf things are progressing amyway? any advice gratefully received.

LynseyH · 13/01/2017 23:18

ami the earliest a scan is in any way worth having is (at the very earliest) 6 weeks, but most of us have held off until 8 weeks as everything is much clearer. Most likely that you'd have to go private though :-/ some early pregnancy units will scan you but most won't unless they feel good cause, our anxiety doesn't count to them.
Your in the right place for some help and advice though so jump in and let the other ladies help :-)

Fab news Moonlight Smile I've found everything feels more positive after the 20-week scan. It's a nicer place to be generally!

Baby stayed quiet last night and I'd resolved to phone my midwife this morning but then when I woke up I had a few good kicks - enough to reassure me that everything's ok Smile I've had a really bad cold/chesty virus this week and I think all my coughing might have made baby go into hiding!

amiuptheduff · 14/01/2017 00:02

Thanks Lynsey. As I don't know what my real dates are (just going on the CB digital) maybe I should wait and do it abroad. Otherwise it will be just waiting for the 12 week when I get back. Not sure I can face waiting that long without knowing. Last time it took about 15 tests and had private blood tests and all sorts, butbthen it still went wrong. So I'm trying to be less obsessive this time round and take it as it comes, but it all seems a lot harder this time. Anyway positive mantras eh?!?

user1484384663 · 14/01/2017 09:22

TMI but I'm really worried that straining to go to the loo is going to affect my pregnancy. I'm only 4-5 weeks and have had the worst bloating and constipation.

Last MC was at 9 weeks and had the same bowel chaos throughout but with bleeding. No bleeding this time but I'm worried it's too late and damage has been done.

jpeg28 · 14/01/2017 10:41

Just catching up from yesterday....

Lynsey I'm so pleased your growth scan went well!! Not long until she will be here!!

Oliversmummy sorry you have had such a scare... I had sooooo much bleeding in this pregnancy and we all know how you feel... it doesn't make it any easier I know! I'm sure brown blood is old blood and is completely ok. I had it because of a cyst that had burst apparently but it was also a bit of implantation left over!

moonlight congrats!! So happy for you and a little boy too! Snap!! And gorgeous pictures too!

Welcome ami and user.... everything crossed for you both for a happy healthy 9 months!

whatser I'm so excited for you!!! Hope the curry worked!!

I'm 26+4 today and feeling massive! At The in laws for the weekend and so far I'm coping!! Baby is moving so much more which makes me happy! Sugar definitely helps... not a problem to eat more sugar!

Sorry if I have missed anyone! I'll also find the Facebook group!

Whatsername17 · 14/01/2017 13:45

No baby yet! I think I'm going to end up going over like with dd. Sigh. I keep telling myself at least I'm one day closer!

doleritedinosaur · 14/01/2017 15:44

Aw whatser how far did you go over with DD?

I feel bad as 2 hours ago I had an epic meltdown even though I'm only 32 weeks, I'm much bigger than when I gave birth to DS. I'm hot, I hate clothes & nothing fits on the bottom! I stupidly wore jeans out & they were so awkward. My leggings are dying after a lot of use & I just got so upset at how many weeks let alone days are left to full term let alone when baby comes out.

Decided to use the rage hormones to clean the kitchen though & 2 loads of laundry/one clean oven/washed up & all the surfaces, plus cleaned all bins/sink area later I'm feeling a bit better.

user really shouldn't strain as that causes piles & makes it worse. Are you staying hydrated? If you're really bad I'd go to the doctors or pharmacy to see what they can give you to help things along. Don't eat more fibre as that makes it worse.
Or I found out accidentally that 2 packets of chewits will help things too.
Really hope it passes for you soon. It is awful.

Whatsername17 · 14/01/2017 16:39

I went into to labour at 40+5 with dd after a sweep. She arrived at 41 weeks. I've felt bigger with this one too. Dd was back to back so I think she was tucked up inside. If it helps, around 32 weeks I felt massive and was repeatedly told I was massive by a very unhelpful woman at work. It all slowed down though and on my last day she decided I looked 'sickeningly good'. Really don't see why people feel the need to tell me these things but hey ho. Could you get yourself a couple more pairs of leggings? It's not worth feeling upset about. I'm only wearing my lovely comfy £16 skinny trousers from Asda at the minute because they are all I feel comfy in. Well them and my pj's!

LynseyH · 14/01/2017 16:51

Oh whatser I've been keeping my eye out for news! It could happen any minute but the attitude of one day closer is good to have!
dino let yourself feel how you need to, you'll hopefully feel better afterwards for releasing it all. I suppose as Christmas hit quite close to the end for me it's made it easier to get to this point.
I'd happy to have baby now, apparently average weight for this stage of pregnancy is 6lb which is tiny but nice!
In the news today a lady gave birth to a baby that was over 14lb!!!

OP posts:
Naschkatze · 14/01/2017 17:03

Whatser at least you know it will be soon! Someone at work recommended dried apricots and prunes.. apparently the laxative effect helped bring on labour BlushWink
I'm already getting impatient and more anxious about things going wrong at the end. 6 more weeks!

Lynsey We don't need to hear about 14lb babies! I'm a bit worried mine is going to be large... no family history but the scan I had 2 weeks ago estimated baby was 4 1/2lb already!

jpeg28 · 14/01/2017 17:56

I can recommend a pack of polos if you are struggling user!!

dolerite I hope you're feeling better... let it all out!! I feel like that now sometimes and I'm only 26+4!! Yesterday MIL said to me "ooo you have definitely increased in size"... cheers!! Felt like crying!

INeedNewShoes · 14/01/2017 18:03

Keeping well hydrated and eating plenty of fruit (veg doesn't seem as effective for me) are the only things I've found ease constipation in pregnancy for me.

After a constipation near-crisis Blush before Christmas I've taken a lot more care to make sure I drink plenty throughout the day!

doleritedinosaur · 14/01/2017 19:04

Thanks whatser lynsey & jpeg

I'm feeling a lot better now I've been proactive. It was such a mixture of fed up & guilt. I think I really did need to just let it out.

Bec helpfully told me about cheap leggings on Amazon so I'll pick up another pair or two just to see me through.

I've got 3 pairs of leggings but 2 now with crotch holes (so ladylike) & giant, stretchy pj bottoms which I wear around the house. I just never got to this size with DS & was on bedrest from 31 weeks so it used to this.

I think there is a hormone surge around now as well which probably explains it haha.

Hope everyone had a good day.

Gingerbreadmam · 14/01/2017 19:36

Oh heck will another pair of leggings be worth it to see you through till the end?

Im in a right stress today. My wee is slightly pink. Only when i press when im wiping, not just after a normal wipe. No pains or anything. Do i just carry on as normal and maybe stop pressing and hope it settles down?

XxBecxX · 14/01/2017 19:45

What is it with leggings and crutch holes lmao I'm always having to throw them away coz I find holey leggings!
Husband jokes and says I've got a septic crutch 😂😂 that's love for ya! Just burns its way through the fabric he reckons 🙈 Personally I think it's because always pulling them up as i by them a little big for comfort!

Just ordered myself 2 new pairs from Amazon for under £10 can't beat that really, my bag also arrived and it's really nice and much larger than I had hoped, it's got a side compartment and a secret zipped bit that houses the handle to make it a wheelie case, it was £23 but I thought it's nice enough to keep future use.

Bless you Dino having a bad day, you sound like your doing really well though, energy wise, I can't do hardly anything, especially bending over lol I managed to do a few washes of bedding and a dust and clean our bedroom and bathroom and then I collapsed and have been sat on me bum ever since lol

I'm counting down the days with you watser, why don't you go and get another sweep?
My MW is a little on the odd side as you only have to mention the word 'sweep' and she's literally whipping your draws down for you 😂😂

Staying posifrickentive- Thread 13 for ladies pg after mc
Whatsername17 · 14/01/2017 19:49

They won't do a sweep until I'm 40 weeks which is Friday. Very annoying. Ginger stop pressing!

Gingerbreadmam · 14/01/2017 20:06

bec ur great at spotting a bargain.

whats thank you for the order. Obeyed.

40 wks is quite late for a sweep isnt it?
