That sounds so exciting dino making the house ready and getting the biscuits stocked up lol
Wonder if your back ache is slow labour?
My MW classes 36 weeks as term, maybe you should get a pad and pen to hand and start taking notes of each days ailments, it is possible, especially if the baby is back to back, can result in a lot of back labour!!!

Oooh imagine 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

XxBecxX · 13/01/2017 16:39

When I had my early MC it started and stopped with bright red blood, that was about 6 weeks.
When I had a much later one it started as brown and stringy, I think that was because it was much older blood?
It sounds like it could be a bit of blood from last week that perhaps came away with your implantation and possibly remained in the cervix, maybe your body is having a nice clean up, try to rest up and don't go poking around looking for more xx

oliversmummy26 · 13/01/2017 16:47

Thanks Bec will take it as easy as I can over the weekend and see what happens.

With my MC at 10 weeks it started with pink and two days later lots of fresh red blood and I think I passed the sac, so nothing like that...if it continues over the weekend I'll call the GP on Monday, otherwise, I think I'll just carry on if no more..it was exactly the same as last week, so am hopeful it's nothing to worry about.

Badgerbird · 13/01/2017 16:48

lynsey lovely news on the growth scan being so positive :)

The ante natal group threads can be a little tricky for the emotions sometimes Confused I wouldn't put my stats down to go on the due date list till my anomaly scan was ok. This thread had helped me a lot and hopefully all you lovely ladies who have had bfps recently will find comfort here too :) And as others have said, even though it's hard, being positive happy or excited won't change the outcome! It is a bit scary though Flowers

oliver I know many women spot and bleed and still have healthy pregnancies Hun so probably fine but it's really not my area of expertise (had MMC's) so maybe call midwife? I'm sure lots of ladies will be on here soon who can help xx

LynseyH · 13/01/2017 17:10

Thank you ladies! Very pleased with the overall outcome. The kidney fluid is near enough classed as normal levels now so hopefully her little scan after she arrives will be a formality.
Forgot to say thank you for the heads up on the bag earlier *xxbec. I've ordered one on wheels now! Theory is, if I end up at hospital, partner would carry baby in her car seat and I don't want to be lumbered with a heavy bag, this way I can just wheel it out :-)
Wow dino only 1lb between our babies?! Does that mean I'm having a small one or you a big one?! There is a few weeks between us isn't there? Or am I getting mixed up?
whatser...where are you today?!?! If your having baby, check in soon as possible pleeeeeaseeeee!
I often wonder about abutterflylightsbesideus too...anyone heard from her at all?

Just joined the group lynsey
I think there's 4 weeks between us so I'm carrying a big, fat fatty. Just really hope they don't put on more than a lb a week!
I've got a wheely case too, midwives loved it last time with DS as they had to help me move up to delivery & meant everything could go in it without carrying a big bag.

oliver I hope the bleed comes to nothing & sounds like old blood. If you feel worried, 111 were useful when I had a chemical & was worried about clots & that was at the weekend.

Yes whatser does quiet mean baby?

bex I hope not! Still only 32 weeks & even though baby is a good weight would mean hospital birth/stay & even though I've got colustrum, latch wouldn't be great. Plus OH is running is work at the moment while bosses are away so really not good timing. 4 more weeks they can stay in there!

XxBecxX · 13/01/2017 18:12

Found it and sent a request!

XxBecxX · 13/01/2017 18:14

lol Dino, we'll keep fingers crossed that little squished stays out at for 4 more weeks lol

XxBecxX · 13/01/2017 18:16

lol little squidge*

XxBecxX · 13/01/2017 18:18

Omg lol stays put*

LynseyH · 13/01/2017 18:19

Yes 4 weeks, I'm 36 weeks today! I'm happy for her to come in 2 weeks which is classed as full term here :-)

Haha no, no baby yet! Exactly 39 weeks and making a curry with extra chilli....

doleritedinosaur · 13/01/2017 19:23

Thanks bec

I had DS at 37 weeks & he was a good weight plus missed out all the uncomfortableness I've got now it seems!

Aw whatser have you also tried a leg massage? Your lower calf has trigger points for labour, walking & squats are good as well. & the good ol'nipple stimulation haha.

Hope the curry works!

LynseyH · 13/01/2017 19:23

Oh dam it! Thought you'd been a bit quiet and today was finally the day! I only had a microwave curry the night before my eldest was born and it did the trick, yours will end up shooting out with extra chilli Grin

Come on ladies, we have a couple of you on the new page, we want all of you on there!

Oliver I panicked at 6 weeks as literally the day after I got my BFP I had some light spotting, mine was pinkish/brownish and a bit stringy and I had on and off for a couple of days. I called the dr and she arranged an early scan for me the following Monday when i was 7 weeks. All was well and saw the little heart fluttering away. I cried I was so relieved as both my MCs started with similar spotting for a couple of days before turning bright red at 6+5 (both to the day).

So if you are concerned then an early scan may help. I wanted to know so that if it wasn't going to happen naturally I could get it dealt with as quickly as possible.

I am now impatiently waiting for my 12wk scan, half convinced I will have had an mmc and crossing my fingers furiously.

I am also jn a weird limbo state where I get a little excited and start thinking about baby stuff then check myself as it was part of what was so hard with my mc's in that my mind ran away with itself and then the rug was pulled from under me. So whilst I'm trying not to think it will go wrong I'm also trying not to get too excited either!

Mostly I try not to think about being pregnant.

MoonlightMojitos · 13/01/2017 19:33

Had my 20 week scan today 😍... it's a boy! All perfect with baby thankfully but my placenta is low so have another scan booked for 36 weeks to see if it's moved. Fx it does as it's a bit gutting to think my birth ideas may all have to go out the window but just so relieved baby is well.

lyns fantastic news on the scan, glad all is well now! I definately would like to carry on with you all in a post natal thread, thanks for sorting that!

I also think we need another bump pics round! Especially as a few of you are so close now it might be your last one before the babs arrive!

Good thinking with the wheels bag, be easier to be able to pull it along!

olivers fx it's old blood if Brown like becs said your body getting rid of the old stuff. Hopefully all be OK x

Good luck with the curry whatser!!!!

MoonlightMojitos · 13/01/2017 19:40

I've just realised I've missed 2 pages and there are bump pics haha oops!!! I'll have another look now!

LynseyH · 13/01/2017 19:47

Yay congratulations moonlight!! A lovely little fella for you, great news :-)
I have purposely made the thread a closed group so if you join, yes we might all see abit more of each other than we do now (eg: profile pics etc) BUT it won't let anyone not in the group see our discussions and won't show up on your friends timelines that you've posted or commented etc. I've done posts to be approved on the advice of a friend who has group of her own. Apparently some nasty spam can be added otherwise! Only on my phone otherwise I'd have added a link.

purple sorry don't have any advice but hope all is ok.

becs OMG, such a spoiled boy look at all those clothes! Amazing! I'd love to get a little wardrobe for the nursery once we start thinking about that but not sure one will fit in the tiny room!

Congrats netflix on the scan, so glad all was well.

Loving these bump pics!

jpeg glad baby is moving about again after that, must be worrying. I swear it sounds like they do this to worry us and then start kicking again just as we panic! I definately think sugar helps though, I had a bottle of coke before my early scan (was about 10 weeks) in an effort to get baby moving for it and it was doing flips!

How are you getting on now newshoes hope baby is back to moving again too?

Gingerbreadmam · 13/01/2017 19:57

You know what, last pregnancy i decided i wouldnt do the antenatal groups and stupidly joined straight away.

After all your kind experiences i am staying away and sticking to here. Tmi but i have literally just dried and inspected the knickers i had on as again i could see some colur n yes im 96% sure its pee. Even if it wasnt the amount it is wouldnt mean anything anyway. Its certainly not brown or pink but maybe a dark yellow. Omg this is what my life has become!!! Keep me sane!!!!

Gingerbreadmam · 13/01/2017 19:59

And to stop being so self centred congrats on all the good news today ladies.

Good luck with the curry haha!
