Yeah basically I'm a FTM, over being pregnant and just wanted to hear some statistics off people who already have given birth and which week it was?

Also howwww did you go into labour, were you relaxed that day or active?

I'm quite worried that I'm not doing enough, I took early maternity leave because of SPD hip & back agony so am probably too relaxed!

34 weeks, due on New Year's Eve & really would love her to be here before Christmas lol :( x

41 + 1
I'd walked a bit over a mile the previous day as I'd heard that exercise can help when overdue. I don't know if it really made a difference though.

40+7 - Mild contractions started one morning, Active labour 24 hours later, baby born 24 hours after that at 7.07am

40+6 - Woke up at 3am with mild contractions, stayed mild for a few hours then active labour began and baby born 4 hours later at 3.12pm

40+5 - Woke up at 5am and must of just had a mild contraction as I just knew, very mild throughout the day, baby born 3 hours after active labour started at 8.54pm

Earlier and faster each time for me (and bigger Shock)

Oh and the day before number 2 and 3 I just knew, could barely walk yet really wanted to keep active and get things done instead of snooze for once

First was born at 38+4, I started very, very slowly leaking waters in the afternoon when I was 38+3, went and did my shopping (priorities BlushGrin ) and called dh to let him know. The waters where so slow I wasn't even 100% it was them. Phones midwife and she said if still happening by 11pm yo get checked. Went in at 11pm and it was indeed my waters. Just leaking a tiny bit, I had no other signs. Went home and got told if no contractions by 11am to go back in anyway. Soon as I got home contractions started, so about 12am. I went back in at 9am and was 4cm so they kept me in. Only had her at 11.59pm though! I was active through labour.

Second baby born at 40+5. Contractions started at around 5am, went in hospital at 10am and was 5cm, stayed on the big bouncy ball through most of it until o got in the pool around 1pm, then had a lovely waterbirth and she was born at 2.26pm.

I'm now 29+4 and would like an experience similar to the second time! As of we can choose though eh

38+4 evening my hind waters went, 38+5 afternoon contractions started after DH dragged me for a walk, 4.30am at 38+6 she was born. I'd also eaten a shit ton of pineapple but no unusual activity per say. Though did have sex the night before my waters went?
