I've just booked a gender scan 🙄 one week from tomorrow we will know what our little one is and also breaks up the wait until my 20 wk scan! So excited.

Day started with my crying over the card my mum sent me. Verses about how I'm a ray of sunshine in her life and how I deserve everything good etc.... but she doesn't treat me like that. I know I sound like a real ungrateful cow, just can't help think why buy a card that has no meaning other than the birthday part. As for my sister, still haven't had a word from her since I told her we're having a girl let alone a birthday card. Don't want to cry again so will leave it there x

You're not ungrateful, it is hard when the people you love are not kind back to you, especially your immediate family. It is hard but try not to give your sister any time of your day as she's not giving you that. It's very selfish what they're both doing to you.
Try & focus on your day & eat as much cake as you want.

I had the first 5am morning pee wake up call this morning. Hope that's not the start of it & felt a few rolling overs.
Trying to look at names & it's utterly hard. Not helping OH is taking ages too. Getting a short list though.

Typically the day after I join this threat I have started spotting I am now shitting myself only a tiny bit but symptoms have disappeared to starting to freak out

I've been having adrenaline rushes all day along with weak legs thinking about my scan tomorrow, I'm so very nervous, apart from slightly sore boobs and a few aversions to smells I feel ok, which is al just making me worry.

Thank you all the day has improved since my wobble this morning!
Sat in the restaurant and the waiter had overheard it was my birthday so he blasted out 'Happy Birthday' on the sound system and bought me a lovely ice cream and jelly pudding with sauce and marshmallow topping with candles! I went very red and almost cried but was the loveliest thing for a stranger to do.

Hope everyone else is ok. Good luck for those with scans this week. Stay strong loz and xxbec.

Tell me about your morning sickness. I feel sick and keep gagging at smells! Trying not to be sick with 2 little ones and 3 builders in the house. I have had it for over a week and I'm only 4+2! But it's why i tested early.

I had it when pregnant with the two girls first time I was sick 1-2 times a day from 3-12 weeks second time it was up to 4 times a day. But with my mc earlier this year I wasn't sick once and barely felt pregnant. I said to so many people that something was wrong as I didn't feel sick!

So I am taking feeling sick as a very positive thing today!

I've never had morning sickness, I think If I had suffered like some of you gals I wouldn't have had as many children.
I just get the icky feeling and want to punch everybody's face in then cry my eyes out. I've had more boys than girls but still never noticed any real differences between pregnancy's. This time I have noticed a lack of desire to eat which has lead me to lose 7lb or so, apart from that and the anxiety I'm ok really.
One thing tho I really start to go off my hubby whilst in pg, I usually don't like him again until after I've given birth, I've had the exact same reaction everytime to him, I have the baby then a day or so afterwards i lay my head on his chest and sniff him and realise how much I've missed him 😂😂😂 Poor sod eh lol

Becqui I get the no appetite thing to and have lost 3lb in the last week!

The calm before the storm, our bodies will probably store an extra 4 stone because of the beginning starvation lol
That's my type of luck 😂😂

With dd1 I put in 5.5 stone and with dd2 I put on 3!

Lol so we get the bundles of joy and also the rolls of fat McB!
I tend to not put much on during but I've put a good stone on afterwards with each one, must be contentment eating

First day back at school today, survived not vomiting in our hour long mass this morning! Felt pretty rough all day but not as bad as it has been! Had my first booking appointment too!

Thanks jpeg, that's good about the not being ill in school, don't you find yourself heaving with the smell of all the kids lol
I took my son to college and all the Lynx and perfume from the teenagers made me gag lol
I got my booking through for 20th and I'm terrified, do you feel the same x

Luckily no kids just yet! I'm lucky as only teach the year 10/11/12 and they aren't back until Thursday!
This mornings app made me scared but then the mw said if you have seen a heartbeat at 8 weeks your risk of MC is down to 2%... That made me more positive!!

Do you know I have seen tho stats but, didn't read them that way around, but that's definetly a fantastic way of looking at things.

I'm 7+4 so not quite 8! Trying to be as positive as I can... Can't wait to be 12 weeks tho so I can tell people. Today at work was so hard, people asked why I left during the day, I'm sure people must know!

It's always the way if a woman of child bearing age is odd or Ill in anyway, people always ask if your pg lol

I have to admit I was a little upset that I had literally nothing to unwrap and even my 4 yr old made comment to mummy having no presents but all in all its been a nice day. Said 4 yr old gave me his duplo flowers instead!

I never did get a card through from my sister which feels incredibly mean and still not even a tx.
The most important thing to me is that I spent the day with my gorgeous boys, my partner and bump so I'm not sad right now.

Ready for bed now! How has everyone else got on today? I know there are a few teachers on here so have thought of you today.

Awful of your family though it is, your sister I mean.

I'm currently hanging out in the bathroom, can't keep anything down. Nausea has slammed back into me. Second trimester is definitely not easier yet but in a way I'm glad as I'm pregnant & id rather be "making out" with the toilet than not.

Bed soon with MIC but not with my homemade crumble sadly.

First day back and I then came home cooked dinner and two days of lunches and just been swimming and done 50 lengths! Most productive day in weeks!!
