What time is your scan JPEG?

jpeg28 · 04/09/2016 10:25

Oh sorry lynsey!!

Scan is at 1

purpleviolet1 · 04/09/2016 10:32

All the best JPEG. Will be checking in.

Naschkatze · 04/09/2016 10:52

Thinking of you both Jpeg and Mcbaby.

I've got something new to worry about today because my cat seems to have injured his tail. I burst into tears when I saw he was holding it limply last night Blush feel so guilty because I don't know when it happened and think it was the last straw for my emotions at the moment! Luckily after speaking to the vet I don't have to take him in today; I wasn't looking forward to the stress of getting him in the carrier and listening to his miaows all the way there.

Hope everyone else is having a better Sunday! I'm about to buy some maternity clothes online to cheer myself up.

LynseyH · 04/09/2016 11:41

nasch where are you looking at maternity clothes? I've been looking the past hour and can't find anything I like!

OP posts:
Macauley · 04/09/2016 11:57

I got some nice clothes from asos and new look. Next has a nice line of maternity clothes too Smile

doleritedinosaur · 04/09/2016 12:00

Hope the scan goes well JPEG.

Aw Nasch hope your cat will be okay. These hormones are something else so I wouldn't worry about it. I nearly broke down sobbing over not having cheese pizza in the house last night.

I've washed all my maternity things from DS that I have left, I was two sizes bigger when I had him so most of it was massive.
H&M maternity is really good, their leggings & tights were the best I found.

I definitely need some maternity dresses though & I can't see myself fitting in the dress I want to wear to my friend's wedding in 2 weeks.

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday.

Naschkatze · 04/09/2016 12:33

Lynsey I'm actually struggling too! The things I like are expensive and I'm reluctant to spend too much. I've already got some black skinny jeans from H&M and I will get another pair because they're so comfy and I can use them for work. I've seen some long cardigans I like from Asda, non maternity but because they're waterfall style I think they'll work. Also bought some non maternity tshirts from H&M because they are nice and long. Just ordered a size bigger. Disappointed with maternity blouses/tops in general though!

Macauley Will have a look at Asos and Next.

Thanks Dino He's curled up asleep so it's not bothering him that much. Vet thinks more likely to be a bite/wound/abscess rather than a break but he won't let me touch it to move his thick fur and have a look! Just see how he is tomorrow and then it will be DH's job to take him to the vet because I'll be at work. You're right about the hormones. I hurt myself earlier (just hit my hand on the kitchen work surface, it really wasn't bad) and that reduced me to tears too!

LynseyH · 04/09/2016 12:41

Same here, I don't really want to spend too much. I know I won't need them again. I'll look on those recommended sites though so thank you dino macauley and nasch. I've looked at a few sites but mostly it's stuff I wouldn't wear normally so definitely not when I'm feeling more conscious of how I look. Considering doing the same nasch and just getting my normal style but in a bigger size. Usually I have no trouble clothes shopping!

Just found a site called Purpless.co.uk. It's got quite standard stuff but at a decent price. Only thing I noticed is, the more you add to your cart, the higher the postage is....

Great news JPEG! So wonderful.

eBay is quite good for maternity clothes with tags on as well if people don't want to fork out for much. I just had a quick look for a swimming costume & a few have come up.

jpeg28 · 04/09/2016 15:05

Thanks so much everyone!!

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday... Back to school tomorrow! Ahhhhhhh Confused

Congrats jpeg! I didn't take dd shopping with us as she was staying with my mum so that I could go with DH to get his parents from the airport. She is getting very excited though! The 3am late night has really wiped me out but I'm just so glad we got MIL there. Sadly, there is no change which is awful because DH's nan is stuck in limbo. Completely paralysed, drifting in and out of consciousness and still aware of everything around her. Its so sad.
Im stuggling with maternity clothes too. Ive got a couple of casual pairs of jeans and tops which are great for the weekend. However, I need smarty clothes for work and I just cant find anything I like. I don't like tight fitting dresses - even when pregnant my waist to hip ratio makes fitting into this type of dress impossible. My waist is 10 inches smaller than my bum so I need the type of floaty dress that pulls in under your boobs and floats out. I cant find anything that isnt made from clingy material though. Im just getting ready to post some things back to Asos. Last time, NewLook was my saviour but they havent really got much. Very frustrating. I will check out ebay though.

Hi can I join u lovely ladies, I am 6wks today and in a bit of a flap.

I had a mmc in Aug last year it was discovered at my 12 week scan and baby measured about 10 weeks with no heartbeat, I decided to let nature take its course but ended up having emergency surgery and just avoiding a blood transfusion.

We decided not to risk it again as we already have a ds, but it looks like we were not careful enoughWink.

I am already feeling massive and terrified as I was sedated at the start of this month for some investigations to check I only had ibs (had no idea I could be pg at the time).

I am sorry to hear about some of the recent losses and problems and happy some of you are doing well. Xxx

Naschkatze · 04/09/2016 19:31

Welcome Loz. Congratulations! Pregnancy after miscarriage is a scary thing but this thread offers incredible support.

LynseyH · 04/09/2016 19:47
