We've got through a whole thread! Hope it's ok that I took the liberty of starting a new one.

Newbies, if you've had fertility treatment and found that it actually worked, this is the thread for you! We're a supportive group of women battling everything from scanxiety to unexplained bleeding, and we generally can't believe this is really happening for us!

First thread is here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/2584015-Pregnancy-after-infertility

Grumpel I don't think I got the greatest pics but I will attach the best one.

Grumpel it's a massive step going for the booking in scan. You finally join all the normal pregnant people.

Sammy I'm due a smear test too but they said it will have to be when I'm not pregnant. So I would have thought the same for you.

loopylou1984 · 21/07/2016 17:36

Got a prescription but boots don't have it in stock so they've ordered it and promised it'll be in tomorrow Confused

Dr said wait until 12 weeks after birth. She said you can have it while pregnant as no linked risks, but that if I had a m/c after it would I be happy that it was just bad luck? So I'm going to wait.

Vixx - hooray!!! Congrats Smile

MrsChrisPratt · 21/07/2016 17:45

Borisisback · 21/07/2016 17:52

Grumpelstiltskin · 21/07/2016 17:56

Super-cool pic, Vixx! They're such defined little human-shapes by then aren't they!

Vixxfacee · 21/07/2016 18:01

Thank you.

Yes it is such a huge change from the last scan as well. Can't believe how quickly they change.

Hi everyone, great to hear your updates, I wish with all my heart that I could still be on here with you. Hopefully I'll be back one day.

Today was incredibly difficult as I was reliving events of this time last week. I have been writing down my thoughts and feelings everyday so I have turned it into a blog, with some pictures, and I hope to update it regularly.

My blog is here: blueroses99.wordpress.com

Zenzie · 22/07/2016 01:51

Just heartbreaking. No other way to describe it. I hope writing it all down and sharing it helps you to grieve for your darling boy.

HP07 · 22/07/2016 05:06

I have no words Blueroses, only tears. He was beautiful. I'm so sorry. Xx

HopefulKate1980 · 22/07/2016 07:41

blueroses I'm so so so sorry for my insensitive post yesterday. I was posting on the run and didn't think. I'm very sorry.

Your son is beautiful. Heartbroken for you. I hope you have all the love and support in the world over next few weeks, months.

I'm so sorry again. Xxx

Vixxfacee · 22/07/2016 08:16

Blue Roses I am so sorry. Jovan was beautiful. I have just read your blog. You did nothing wrong, please do not blame yourself. Life can be terribly cruel Flowers

Blueroses99 · 22/07/2016 08:18

Kate no need for apologies, I realise now how much this thread has helped me over the past four months in times of stress or confusion, and I know how lovely it is to have people to celebrate milestones with. Long may it continue.

HP, Zenzie and others, thanks for reading. I'll be lurking on here for a little while longer.

Love to everyone xx

Borisisback · 22/07/2016 08:58

Oh blue - your boy looks lovely. I'm heartbroken for you. I'm sure you'll be back properly on these threads soon but in the mean time be good to yourself. Have you accessed any support from a therapist / counsellor? You've been through so much. Big hugs. Xx

TabbyToes · 22/07/2016 17:14

I hope you have lots of kind people around you to look after you blueroses and please take up whatever offers of help and support come your way. I have been thinking of you and Jovan often. I hope you will be back here or another pregnancy thread one day soon but don't rush into another round of treatment before you feel ready - it's draining enough under normal circumstances. Ah I don't know what to say, I'm just so sorry that you have had this awful thing happen. Flowers

Smurfy1981 · 22/07/2016 18:51

HopefulKate1980 · 22/07/2016 19:22
