We've got through a whole thread! Hope it's ok that I took the liberty of starting a new one.

Newbies, if you've had fertility treatment and found that it actually worked, this is the thread for you! We're a supportive group of women battling everything from scanxiety to unexplained bleeding, and we generally can't believe this is really happening for us!

First thread is here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/2584015-Pregnancy-after-infertility

Yes I'm already on leave. Went quite early really as the logistics of my job meant it was easier that way. Good luck for your scan! :)

Smurfy1981 · 31/08/2016 21:25

Zenzie- how was ur scan x

Zenzie · 01/09/2016 03:43

Oh, all fine thanks Smurfy! A very wriggly bean with everything where it should be. I had to do quite a bit of dancing about plus scoffing cold water and a sweet biscuit to get bean into the right position to measure the nuchal fold but we got there in the end. Everything in the expected range, thankfully!

A real relief!

HopefulKate1980 · 01/09/2016 07:18

Brilliant news zenzie!! Congrats! What was your measurement? I'm in the nervous wait for my results.

Sorry haven't posted much. I've been away. But I'll catch up tonight. Hope everyone is ok xxx

Borisisback · 01/09/2016 07:22

Zenzie - that's great news!

HP - you are so close now :) very exciting!

I have my week 28 midwife appointment today, with the appointments becoming more frequent and I can feel the baby more clearly, this finally seems to be more real! It's amazing really that I'm more than 6 months in and it only just feels real....!

HopefulKate1980 · 01/09/2016 07:40

Ooh how exciting boris. Hope it goes well xx

kiwiblue · 01/09/2016 07:49

Great news on the scans Sammy and zenzie.

So exciting HP- hope you're managing to relax a bit!

Got first scan (7+4) today and am scared. Was last in EPU when they confirmed my miscarriage so it only has bad memories for me. Trying to think positively though!

Smurfy1981 · 01/09/2016 08:46

Aw thats fab zenzie and good luck boris, and good luck kiwi xx

Borisisback · 01/09/2016 09:32

Kiwi - good luck. Scans are terrifying at the best of times but just be way worse for you. Thinking of you.

kiwiblue · 01/09/2016 14:27

Thanks smurfy and Boris, it was fine. Everything looks OK. I cried!

Now I just have to make it to the 12 week scan Smile

Smurfy1981 · 01/09/2016 15:13

Aw crying is allowed- i cried on my transfer, then at 7wk scan the. At 12 AND when i heard the heart beat at 16 wk midwife apt lol!!

kiwiblue · 01/09/2016 15:51

Haha good to know smurfy Smile

Grumpelstiltskin · 01/09/2016 18:53

Lovely news on all the positive scans and happy crying! So pleased you had a good one kiwi.

Congrats on full term as well, HP! How exciting. Hope the little one doesn't keep you waiting too long though.

MPP81 · 01/09/2016 23:44

Brilliant news on the scans, Zenzie and Kiwi!

Wow, Boris, 28 weeks! That seems to have flown by! Hope you're feeling ok! :-)

loopylou1984 · 02/09/2016 17:27

I finally saw the midwife on Wednesday... Then come home today to a letter for my scan appointment which is on Thursday 8th! They're not hanging around now I'm in the system. I think it probably because it's twins. Identicals seem to be cause concern! We actually had a private scan on Tuesday (not sure if I updated here?) and there were still two wrigglers!

Wizziwoo · 04/09/2016 21:17

Sorry been off the radar for a few weeks, all hectic work wise. Great news kate zenzie and kiwi on the scans and a couple of new arrivals too...fab news!!!

Scan tomorrow (almost 14 weeks) so fingers crossed. Massive bump already....not sure if it's still the OHSS or the bubs... Christ what will I look like at 30 weeks?!!!! Just about fit into my fat day jeans but think I'll have to go with maternity clothes once I've announced at work (if they haven't already guessed) 😀

Blueroses99 · 04/09/2016 22:52

Good luck tomorrow Wizzi. I was convinced that everyone at work had guessed before I announced cos I felt huge, but apparently colleagues aren't all that observant.

Great news on the scans Kate, Zenzie and Kiwi, and hi to everyone else.

I'm going back to work tomorrow after 7 weeks, part time to begin with. I've been getting anxious about it. It's harder in my mind because the last time I was there I left to rush to hospital. My manager is still on paternity leave (he's taking 6 months) so I don't need to face him. I'm such a private person normally but now I just want to tell everyone about Jovan, it's so important to keep his memory alive. My life has been on hold all this time but I feel it's time to face the real world, just hoping that everyone will be nice and it'll be ok.

HP07 · 05/09/2016 07:26

Good luck today Blueroses. Take each day as it comes. Thinking of you. Xx

HopefulKate1980 · 05/09/2016 08:12

Thinking of you blueroses. Xx

kiwiblue · 05/09/2016 14:59

Hope it's going OK blueroses. I'm sure everyone will be nice. Take care of yourself, don't overdo things Smile

Itsme247 · 05/09/2016 18:28

I have been following your posts blueroses, hope all went well today.

I can't remember if I posted or not from my scan last week but measured 9weeks on the dot with a lovely heartbeat and wriggly little legs/arms and a big head.

I'm 10w2d and daring to dream...

loopylou1984 · 05/09/2016 18:43

Itsme! So glad to hear that. I've been wondering about you. Xx

loopylou1984 · 05/09/2016 18:44

Blueroses, I can only imagine how hard today was. Thinking of you.

stealthbanana · 05/09/2016 19:30

Good luck blueroses - I really hope today was manageable. Flowers

to everyone else. Sorry I've been absent, just lots going on. All going well with the baby, am starting to feel proper kicks now including some from the outside the other day. Bump is growing too finally!

Such good news about all the positive scans, long may it continue

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 06/09/2016 01:02

I hope your first day back went okay Blueroses? It must have been hard. x

Congratulations on all the scan news! Wizzi how did you get on yesterday?

Wow, full term HP! That's great news. Not long to go now.

Boris how did your appointment go? Can't believe you're already so far along. It must be lovely feeling the baby move.

I'm 11 weeks today and starting to feel ill for shorter periods - hooray! I did, however, manage to faint in a shop yesterday so hopefully that won't continue. Less than a week until my next scan, gulp.

Hope everyone else is well!
