Christmas. So nice to see the heart and hear it and in my case be relieved wasn't identical twins. Was so sick early on I thought might be twins and egg split .....

Russ. If bad nausea /sickness then see gp and get some tablets - may be possible hg

Have rescan tomorrow. Hopefully rest of organs can be measured and hopefully find out sex is bubs will open their legs !!!!

Womble75 · 16/11/2016 23:13

Christmas that's great news Smile
Blondes fingers crossed baby isn't so shy tomorrow lol. Take some fresh orange juice and drink before you go in. Sonographer recommended it to me and baby was very obliging! Was wriggling everywhere.
Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/11/2016 09:50

Problem being if I drink anything apart from water or occasional black tea as have hg it will make a reaappearence so avoid anything else

I have the odd Starbucks and hour or so later I will see it again 😢

Will jiggle bubs so moves (hopefully)

ChristmasSeacow · 17/11/2016 18:46

How was it Blondes?

Russ I am impressed at the knitting. I am a knitter and have a few Xmas-related projects on the go but am not making any progress as I am simply too tired to do anything in the evenings, even knit! I just sit on the sofa and look blank Hmm

I hope I get some energy back soon. Must also stop eating so much crap. I just don't feel like cooking at all (bone tired, as above) so am living on toast, bananas and chocolate. Need to get a grip.

Bloopbleep · 17/11/2016 18:59

Hello all. Congrats on a good scan christmas

I love knitting russ but I'm awful at it.

I can't get a song out of my head today. I've changed the lyrics and now I'm constantly humming "wooaaaaah my breasts are on fire" to sex on fire - I think I've managed to keep it in my head and not out loud.

Bloopbleep · 17/11/2016 18:59

How did you get on today blondes?

ChristmasSeacow · 17/11/2016 19:13

Bloop now I am singing that! Er, thanks Grin

How is the polystyrene pelvis?

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/11/2016 22:19

Bubs still stubborn. Laying happily on their stomach and refused to budge. waIted half an hour and then rescanned and still refused to move

Back again in 11days to do measurements they couldn't do and hopefully gender

ChristmasSeacow · 17/11/2016 22:36

Oh no, that's very unlucky. Are you feeling rather fed up?

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/11/2016 23:16

kinda, we would like to know bubs gender so can start to buy odd clothing in pink/blue if we saw something we liked, plus start on decorating bedroom

tho

its more important to us to want to make sure all organs are ok, and unless bubs flips and lays on back they cant check the valves to heart and face, tho ob heart is beating well, so not that worried iyswim

obv have a very stubborn/chilled bubs who likes to stay in one position

ChristmasSeacow · 19/11/2016 13:02

Totally agree about the structural checks - still a bit of a pain to have to go back a third time but it won't be the last time you are inconvenienced by your non-compliant child!

Bloopbleep · 21/11/2016 12:53

So I'd promised myself if I got to 8 weeks I'd make an appointment for an early scan by 9 weeks but for some reason I'm terrified. I've already had a scan at 6weeks in epu but my symptoms are so much milder now. I no longer have cramps and my boobs aren't as sore and I'm not as sick. I know I have no influence over what's going on in there but I'm terrified to find out it's not good.

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/11/2016 12:55

Bloop. It's so hard and sadly the only way to know for sure is to pay for a private scan

Sure all is fine - go and get one booked to put you out of your misery 💐

ChristmasSeacow · 21/11/2016 21:19

Yes, go Bloop! Symptoms waning definitely doesn't mean things have gone wrong - it is normal for symptoms to change over time. Go and find out, most likely it will be a huge relief x

Bloopbleep · 22/11/2016 01:35

Thanks Christmas & Blondes

I've even fewer symptoms now and it's freaking me out. Will call epu in morning and if no luck with them will try private place. I'm really freaking out right now :(

ChristmasSeacow · 22/11/2016 21:00

Sorry Bloop, just seen this. I hope you managed to get a scan and all is well. are you okay?

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/11/2016 21:28

Bless you bloop. Sure all is fine. But get a scan tomorrow to reassure you

Really worth all the money for relief

Bloopbleep · 23/11/2016 07:31

Epu won't do another scan unless noteable problems. Can't get private until next week. Boooo!
Have felt sick yesterday tho and thinking today's going to be the same :-/

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/11/2016 08:06

My private scanning clinic is good at squeezing people in

Can you ring again and explain how worried you are and you need to be reassured by heart beat

Play the geriatric card as well 😇

Helbelle75 · 23/11/2016 13:11

Can understand nerves about a scan Bloop, was petrified before ours at 10 weeks. It was absolutely the best moment of my life when I saw our little one moving around and very much put my mind at rest.
My symptoms have been very up and down, but now 20 weeks and midwife listened to the heartbeat last week so all is well so far.

Bloopbleep · 25/11/2016 20:59

So cramping went away about week and a half ago but the pain (if it's even that) returned past couple of days but different. It's quite localised and jaggy feeling more uterus than general pelvic area. Mostly on left side but sometimes felt through to back.

Can someone reassure me this is normal. I'm 8+4/5

ChristmasSeacow · 25/11/2016 22:56

Hi Bloop. No idea really I'm afraid. I think you've had a previous scan though which presumably showed the embryo was in the right place (so not ectopic)?

I would call your midwife and ask. But in the meantime, all sorts of twinges are normal. I am getting stabbing pains in my pelvis occasionally when I stand up quickly or turn awkwardly, and also just randomly from time to time but I think it is ligaments. I am not losing sleep over it at the moment anyway, given my history of Spd. Try not to fret (impossible, I know!) as it will drive you mad. Have you spoken to a midwife about any of this? If the EPU won't scan you can they reassure you? after all they previously said they wouldn't scan you, presumably because they were not worried about your symptoms. Can someone talk you through that to put your mind at rest?

I am surprised you can't even get a private scan quickly where you are. I know that would help you. Did you book one for 9ish weeks as you were thinking of doing anyway?

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/11/2016 23:32

Sorry I can't say if normal. I didn't get cramps

I really think you need to go and get privately scanner. Ring them again and beg for an app tomorrow.

ChristmasSeacow · 28/11/2016 18:14

Hi, just wondering whether everyone's okay.

How are you doing Bloop?

Helbelle75 · 28/11/2016 19:05

Anomaly scan for us tomorrow. Very, very nervous about it. No indication of any problems, but think i'll always be anxious.
Hope everyone else is OK xx
