Ridiculous things that have made you cry when pregnant..

I just started reading the lyrics to Cat Stevens' 'Father and Son' and nearly started crying. I had the same experience in early pregnancy while telling someone about how we used to sing 'Streets of London' at school. Oh, and buskers are making me well up at the minute too!

The funniest one has been the end to the Lil Wayne video 'How to Love' () A pregnant woman goes to the doctor for a pregnancy test and when she gets a positive result she says to her mum 'Thanks for teaching me how to love' - so cheesy but it set me off!

What has got your eyes watering?

The film 'Goal'. The music set me off.

When I was in tesco I couldn't find the drinking straws. This made me cry. Then I couldn't keep up with the tesco employee I asked, as he was walking at normal pace and I just couldn't. This made me cry.

I was only about 8 weeks so didn't look pregnant - just odd.

I cried at Peter rabbit the other day. He found some old video footage of his dead dad. Then as they watched it his mum said 'you're growing up to be so like him'. Sob.

I was idly watching a Beyoncé live performance on the telly. Wasn't even a fan really. DH walked in to find me in floods of tears.

"She's just....SO AMAZING"

He was very amused Grin

More than once I cried because I was trying to change the sheets on our king size bed and it was just too overwhelming! After the second time DH said that maybe he had better change the sheets from now on...

My DH once rubbed my foot after I'd been in work all day and was exhausted. I burst into tears because I thought it was lovely thing to do. Especially as he wasn't prompted. I'm not normally a crier.

I cried at Emma's diary an hour ago Blush I'm so ashamed.

I cried at this month's slimming world magazine's stories of weight loss.

I have never been this emotional in pregnancy before. It's bonkers.

When they delivered two prawn madrasses instead of one KING PRAWN madras. I cried all over the friends we'd invited round for a takeaway. Huge snotty tears.

I had a genius idea to put anti-freeze in water in a bird bath so the birds could have a drink in the winter. I was waiting for DH to answer his mobile so I could ask him if we had any anti-freeze when I realised why it wouldn't be a good idea. I cried because I could've killed the poor ickle birdies & they might die anyway from dehydration because they wouldn't have anything to drink... It wasnt even that cold - any ice that formed overnight had melted by midday. We don't even own a bird bath!

I cried at a film (think it was Just Like Heaven) when a man was sitting eating dinner alone. Not too bad you think - except what really made me cry was his glass of water sitting on the table!!?!

Haha these are amazing! SouthDownsSunshine I am intrigued as to which bit of Emma's Diary made you cry? Was it her husband being an incompetent twerp?

Joinourclub Peter Rabbit has a VCR?!

I'd better watch out Atrociouscircumstances - I'm seeing her live at 8 months!

Where do I start?
Peanut the monkey had to gnaw off his hand cos he got caught in a trap (documentary I watched)
I didn't turn on the oven properly so dinner was late
My brother phoned to ask which Lego toy to buy my nephew for his birthday (not so much crying than furious rage)
MiL bought us a pram
DH said something nice
My word document wouldn't save properly

There are many many more. And I'm usually such a balanced person....

I was pregnant with my son and I cried when I saw a carpet with blue squares. There was a big blue square with a little blue square attached to it and I just started crying cos it reminded me of a loving father hugging his little boy...

Haha love this irrational stories Grin

I cried in the supermarket and I mean sobbed because they'd put beans up by 20p and I felt bad for all the old people who couldn't afford to buy beans anymore Blush

I don't know why or how I came to the conclusion that it was specifically old people that were affected by the 20p bean crisis but I just did Grin

I also cried when I went to a routine appointment and onve the nurse had dipped my wee she washed the out and gave it back to me to use next time and I didn't want to put it back in my handbag.
After she finally figured out why I was crying she gave me a new pot
