turi sympathy to you struggling with the sickness. I was sick when pregnant with dd, but this time was a whole different board game; wasn't even head down the toilet it was head in a sick bowl. By week 7 I ended up begging the gp for meds; I was given a drug usually used to treat nad hayfever which took away the worst of the sickness. Have been sicky throughout, but was at a managable level to stop taking it when I got to 13 weeks.
Don't worry about what you're eatting, just do what you need to get you through. With dd I was stuffing my face with cherrios constantly, going through a big pack in a couple of days. This time mini babybels seem to take the edge of most sick feelings now I'm in the later stages.
I found sea bands really helpful both times, ended up wearing them constantly and having dents in my wrists when I eventually braved taking them off!. If you're finding them helpful it's well worth looking at the different makes as some do different sizes. I got a slightly larger size in lloyds pharmacy with the actual seaband brand, but have seen sized ones on amazon when I looked up pregnancy pops. I think lots of the generic ones you can get are aimed more at children with travel sickness so tend to be on the tighter side.
Congratulations to all those with positive scans.
And congratulations on you little girl paws, I know it's impossable not to worry but really hope the potential heart problem turns out to be nothing. A lady in the us on the march thread was told her baby had calcuim deposities on the heart at 17ish week mark. She was scaned again at 22 weeks and the problem had resloved itself.
Bump has started to engage now. Bh have steped up a gear and getting lower back ache on and off. Me and midwife are both hoping it might mean his thinking of making an apperance sooner rather than later.
