Im having a scan to see if we can see a heartbeat or if there has been no growth

I have about a 50/50 chance I SO hope that its good news.

DH much better yes. think he got an almighty shock when the consultant was talking about what the possible risks of the surgery are (all worst case scenario stuff but a good dose of reality for DH)

Have you had time to check the ectopic.org site, they are really good in this situation for info and support.
I presume they will do a diagnostic laproscopy and go from there?

Thinking of you today Pecka honey, I hope it all goes as bets it can and you are home and resting asap.
Try to comfort yourself that they have found it before it has ruptured and that means int he future (when you're ready) your fertility is not affected
Hope DH is being thoroughly supportive today and understands how much this has thrown you out of kilter.
it is always tough one, balancing being grateful for having a life threatening medical issue sorted and losing a baby as wel.
this for me was the hardest part, everyone expected me to be thankful I was alive while I was just gutted about the loss of my baby
