maybe they can tell you exactky what is happening but can fully understand why you want to stay put

ermentrude · 13/05/2004 20:07

good luck Bunny - thinking of you and your family

emmatmg · 13/05/2004 20:11

I've got everything crossed for you tomorrow Bunny, or tonight of you go.

sorry I haven't any advice but just wanted to add my best wishes to you.

bunny2 · 13/05/2004 20:11

thanks karen and ermentrude.

baldrick, the lady on the phone (woman's health ward) said at 12 wks it could be implantation bleeding, cant see how but she seemed quite certain.

bunny2, I think you're right that there is essentially nothing that can be done to stop a m/c. If you decide not to go to hospital, make sure you rest. Sending you lots of positive vibes ((()))

motherinferior · 13/05/2004 20:13

vibes from me too, honey

GRMUM · 13/05/2004 20:34

Thinking of you and hoping all will be well.

Happy Birthday to your son

suedonim · 13/05/2004 20:39

Oh, Bunny, what a cr*p time you're having. I don't know what I'd do in your position, but if thoughts were wishes, then all the vibes from MN are willing you a safe and healthy pg. Take care.

Jimjams · 13/05/2004 20:51

bunny I was thinking that if you go to hospital you are likely to get good news! Thats my main reaosn for encouraging you to go as soon as possible- no need to prolong the agony. Please don't assume you are having a m/c yet. If you are it is better to be under the care of the hospital- especially if Rh-ve as you may need anti D. I had a miscarriage and they wanted to keep me in- but I begged them not to- so they let me go home- just had to go in for some checks as an outpatient.

As I said (and believe) chances are you are not having a m/c- so go to hospital and find out asap. Take care of yourself xxxx

bunny2 · 13/05/2004 21:22

thankyou for all your vibes and hugs, it makes me feel better, it really does.

Jimjams, it is good to read you still believe I might have good news. I am feeling a bit more hopeful too.

I have been to the toilet a dozen times but the bleeding does seem to have stopped, I am still having pain thoug but it is the blood that frightens me. I know from previous episodes of bleeding in pregnancy that the hospital cant do much until a sonographer comes in. I'm going to go first think in the morning and in the meantime I will curl up with dh and have a glass of wine (only 1 of course) and watch some tv. I

Hi Bunny.

I lost a long message I was trying to leave much earlier. And haven't read all of this, so hope I don't repeat...

I have heard it is common to bleed and/or have cramps when af is due at 4, 8, and 12 weeks. There also seem to be plenty of Mn's who have been in this situation and have had positve results.

I will keep my fingers, toes and everything else crossed for you...

xxxxx

gothicmama · 13/05/2004 21:27

Bunny 2 it may be a reaction to the scan just try and lie down as much as poss big hugs

smellymelly · 13/05/2004 21:29

Any chance you can remember what the heartbeat was yesterday on your scan. I have seen a website this week while researching hcg levels, which gives a good indication of a viable foetus' heartbeat...

I will look again now

jellycat · 13/05/2004 21:37

Dear bunny, I've only just seen this. So sorry you're having another scare . I don't have any practical advice to add, but I shall be thinking of you tomorrow xxx

smellymelly · 13/05/2004 21:52

Bugger I can't find it and I need to go to bed.
If you are still worried maybe you could do a search to find foetal heart rates etc.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

pepsi · 13/05/2004 22:00

Bunny2, Im new to Mumsnet but have just read your thread and my heart goes out to you.....I so very much hope all is ok for you, it all so emotional esp on your sons birthday, try to sleep and go to the hospital first thing, its pointless saying dont worry because there is no way you wont.

beansprout · 13/05/2004 22:11

Bunny, I'm so, so sorry that this is happening. I hope everything is ok tomorrow, will be thinking of you and looking out to see how you got on. Hope you can sleep tonight, take care xx

bunny2 · 13/05/2004 22:28

hi, thanks again. the bleeding has not started again and I am feeling ok. Dreading tomorrow of course, I cant believe I might be having a third miscarriage, what have I done to deserve that? Hopefully I'll post good news tomorrow.

Thanks again to you all Bxxx
