Im 12.3, scan yesterday was fine, today I have been cramping mildly, got worse but not agony. Now I am blleding, more than spotting and very bright. This pregnancy has been sheer hell because of various problems and I think it is now coming to an end. HAs anyone had this?

oh bunny, poor you. I had a tiny amount of bleeding v pale at about 13 wks, just after we'd told everyone. I went into A&E and saw a registrar fairly quickly. given your history I'd go & get checked out, they should scan you imo.

bunny2 · 13/05/2004 18:42

bundle, this is quite alot of blood. I have spotted b4 but this is worse. Also the cramps are very low down in my pelvis and I never had this with the spotting. It's my little boys birthday and I am up here crying.

hugs(((())))) to you, can you get to the hospital to have a scan, sounds like a good idea(have read your other threads too...I really hope it isn't this..am thinking about you..love Baldrickxxx

hewlettsdaughter · 13/05/2004 18:46

Bunny, please go and get it checked it out - don't suffer on your own. I have everything crossed for you.

Nutcracker · 13/05/2004 18:47

TBH Bunny i'd go straight to hospital and get it checked out. I'm guessing you won't want to though if it's your sons birthday.

Can you call a midwife to ask for advice ??

cab · 13/05/2004 18:47

Oh Bunny - phone the doc or epu to get some advice. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Fact that the scan was ok yesterday is very positive. Have read some people bleed around time of period but pg ok. Sounds daft but try to relax.

Nutcracker · 13/05/2004 18:49

Bunny have you got anyone with you right now, hate to think of you being on your own right now.

bunny2 · 13/05/2004 18:51

dh is busy downstairs playing scalectrix with ds. I am glad, I dont wasnt ds to see me upset. I rang the EPU but it was closed and I was advised to go to A&E where they will probably admit me and scan me in the morning. There is NO way I am spending tonight in hospital away from ds and dh.

bunny2, could you get dh to drive you all in and see what they say? if it means you staying over night, then maybe you could tell them that you really don't want to but want to get checked out (could dh drive you again in the morning for a scan?)...hope you're alright

Grommit · 13/05/2004 19:12

Bunny - this happened to me at 12 weeks - I went straight to casualty and was seen pretty quickly. I was fine - it was errosion of the cervix. thinking of you

bunny2 · 13/05/2004 19:13

hi baldrick,I know what will happen, I'll wait in A&E for hours, they wont be able to do anything as they have no ultrasound, then I'll have to stay on my own till morning. I cant bear that. I'd rather stay at home till tomorrow. My Mum is coming over at 8.00 am and I'll go to the hospital then with dh.

bunny2 · 13/05/2004 19:13

Grommit, tell me more, did you have pain? where? how heavy did you bleed? How did they diagnose cervical erosion? what causes it?

sorry about all the questions

Oh bunny...
Hugs and hoping so much for you....

fisil · 13/05/2004 19:16

bunny2, you poor darling. Huge hugs ((((()))))

Hope you sleep tonight, you must be feeling so miserable. I will be thinking of you tomorrow morning. xxx

bunny2 · 13/05/2004 19:19

hello Wallace and fisil, thanks. Yes I feel wretched. I am so scared, I saw a hb yesterday, what could go wrong between then and now?

katierocket · 13/05/2004 19:24

bunny - my SIL had this too, I can't remember what the problem was but it was something to do with a tear in her uterus. Sorry, not much help but she was just told to have total bed rest for 3 weeks and now is fine.

{{}} hugs to you, if you can get to the hospital it might be worth it for peace of mind.

bunny2 · 13/05/2004 19:26

katierocket, has she had the baby?

Jimjams · 13/05/2004 19:30

oh poor you bunny.

I agre with the others- go to A and E - if they want to admit you ask to come home and go again in the morning.

There are lots of things that can cause bleeding- as all was well yesterday I think its likely to be fine.

katierocket · 13/05/2004 19:33

bunny - she's 30 weeks and is fine now. she has one ds and has also had a m/c (after she had DS)

Soapbox · 13/05/2004 19:36

Bunny - I too think you should go to A&E. They should see you quite quickly given your history and can scan you if needs be with a portable scanner. I really think you should go now!

cab · 13/05/2004 19:39

Bunny - think you're doing the right thing staying put - especially if you know they won't scan you until tomorrow. At least when you're at home you can come onto mumsnet!
Don't know why - but have this feeling all will be ok with you. Hope I'm right.

shrub · 13/05/2004 19:41

bunny2 -please go the hospital, i don't understand why you aren't going to a & e - is it because of your ds's birthday? if that is the one reason that is stopping you i think in this situation you have to be terribly grown up and just take a deep breath, go downstairs and say mummy isn't feeling well- do you know a neighbour that can look after ds? is the hospital far away? please go - they are there to help you and baby

bunny2 · 13/05/2004 19:58

well, the bleeding has eased up but I'm still cramping a bit. My Mum and Dad can be here in 20 mins if I want to go to hospital. I will go if the bleeding starts again. Dh is keen for me to go but I want to be here not alone on some ward. From what I have read there is nothing they can do to stop a miscarriage so dont see the point in hospital.
