I hope everyone suffering from the Horrors of Hyperemesis will find this thread useful as a source of support and information.

There's no TMI on here - can't be by definition - and nobody should feel ashamed of moaning as much as they feel the need to.

MOH's wonderful website is full of useful information on this illness:
sites.google.com/site/pregnancysicknesssos/
Another invaluable website is:
www.pregnancysicknesssupport.org.uk/
If you need help in obtaining medication, this phone number is
brilliant:
024 7638 2020

Lastly, the NICE guidelines on treatment are useful:
cks.nice.org.uk/nauseavomiting-in-pregnancy

I would like to thank Everyone who has given such invaluable support and advice on this and on previous threads.

Remember when you are at your worst, 'This Too Shall Pass'. It really will.
So many women on this thread have thought they couldn't get through this, but they did.

Sorry I havnt been on.
I can't cope anymore with this, the constant nausea and back to vomiting everything up. Fed up fed up fed up. I can't do this anymore.
Will try to get on pc and reply properly later, really down today.

Ginger I m with you hun . Don't wanna be pregnant don't wanna be sick don't wanna be brave don't want any of it today :(
Lucinda you weren't tactless to me lol
I agree about time on leaden wings
I keep looking for when I can go to bed as only time relief is when I am sleeping :(
When in hospital the gynea doc said
Lol
You must eat and drink
Have you tried ginger biscuits
At which point my OH had to change subject or I'd be behind bars
What a stupid comment !!!
She was crap after I had a bag of fluids and kept a biscuit down she was.like bye bug nurse said she's not well enough to go home and I was admitted .
Defo feel.bettr for fluids . Just wish could have iv at home :(
Hugs to all on the HG misery trail
Xxx

Gingerlady123 · 10/10/2015 15:14

Spandau- we can and will get through this and at the end of it we will have a beautiful baby to show for it. I hate the comments about ginger. I've seen some people have iv fluids at home I wish we all could.
Started back on phenergan which I had left over and feeling less sicky now managed some fluid as well. I had some left over and as they made some difference last time thought I would try again.
I dragged my self at the house for my private gender scan as the scanning place is only a ten minute walk from and we are having a girl!. Seeing that has given me a boost as to why I'm doing this.
Will look over rest of thread later.

Reebok · 10/10/2015 15:21

Haha Spandau...lucky your oh stepped in. Congrats Ginger that's great news.

I had a nap which has helped a little. Afraid to get up though. Being a horrible mummy to dd...keep snapping at her and getting annoyed when she does anything. I feel awful! At least if she understood why mummy is being such a cow but she doesn't.

Gingerlady123 · 10/10/2015 15:24

I normally find a nap helps. It's like relief when your sleeping isn't it.
Sorry your having a tough time.
I have to keep reminding my self it's all worth it but when it's really bad you forget don't you especially when you no bump and no movements being felt it doesn't feel like I'm pregnant (unless I'm being scanned) it just feels like I have a constant stomach bug.

spandau1980 · 10/10/2015 15:55

A girl! That ll explain the sickness cont.
With dd I was sick til.20 weeks :(
But let's not think about that hey :p
Thinking this.may e a girl as so so sick but can't bare another 10 weeks off it !
I'm feeling fluttering all the time in belly ?! Is this to do with meds or to do with baby
?? I'm 10 w 2 d now!!!!!!!

LucindaE · 10/10/2015 16:18

OK, thread getting perilously close to being full, so I've created a new
one. Watch this link fail to come out, as it so often does, as IT and I do not get on.

I invite everyone to stagger over. taking meds, beds and bowls...
