Arrived at 11 am yesterday. Pessary in by noon. They won't even look at my under carriage until 24hrs after pessary going in, but have to stay overnight on 4 hour obs. Best case scenario they can break my waters in the morning, otherwise a 6 HR wait then another pessary then another 6hr wait to see if that works which takes me to 11 PM.
Poor girl in the next bay has been chucking up all night. I really feel for her she is so young and frightened (obvs no sleep for me tho).
I have watched waaaaay too much telly. What happened to splat waters break ... three pushes.... baby's here! It is not slow mo in the movies!

Woop woop. As a woman who took 4 days to be induced with DD3 i am with you all the way.

Fourarmsv2 · 27/06/2015 23:04

DS2 - waters broke Sunday PM. Intermittent contractions all night every night Sunday-Thu. Stopped each day.

Thu - swab diagnosed GP B strep. Went in for induction. Due to previous c:s went straight to drip.

DS2 was born as they were prepping me for a c/s on Sat night at 10pm!

He was worth the wait and your LO will be too :) Good luck :)

Belleende · 28/06/2015 14:02

Hello all! Still in labour. ONLY JOKING. Had the most beautiful little girl this morning after a labour that we threw everything and the kitchen sink at. She is just about 8lbs and has a full head of black curly hair. The birth was about as far removed from what we had planned as it is possible to get and i shall be leaving my dignity in the hospital but i could not care less. She is perfect. And she is here, and after three years of heart ache, our last roll of the dice is swaddled in a cot beside me snuffling away. I could not be more happy, or more tired.
