cloud I had really bad constipation with DS (wa like carrying another baby back there Confused) and I found a fibre powder supplement from holland&barrett worked (sorry can't remember the name). You just sprinkle it on normal food/cereal. I'd tried lots of fruit/prunes that didn't work but after a couple of days using the powder there was movement!
Massive good luck for your scan tomorrow, I have a feeling it will be positive! Smile

bythesea82 · 17/07/2015 11:30

bumble [waves]

cloud this is random but worked for me - grapenuts! Apparently full of folic acid and fibre. That and a decaf coffee each morning worked wonders!
Good luck for tomorrow.

happy, broody hope things get going for you soon. Exciting times!

I have weird painful skin between my bra and top of my bump, kind of numb and burning at the same time. I guess just things stretching and squashing but really hoping not to have it for another 12 weeks!

Marchgirl · 17/07/2015 14:30

Good luck for scans cloud and bumble. It's such a worrying time with waning symptoms and danger points. Keeping everything crossed for you both x

Littlelady33 · 17/07/2015 16:50

Good luck for all with scans just catching up on posts as seem to be permanently napping. 39wk appointment all fine, mw responded to my pleas of 'but will this end soon!?' With some very encouraging talk of head mostly engaged baby in good position etc. And my LO did his usual 'kicking like crazy at the doppler' tricks which they approved of. Come on and be born now please!

mrsdiddlydoo · 17/07/2015 23:34

Good luck tomorrow cloud will be thinking of you.

cavamonster · 18/07/2015 05:27

Welcome bumble and good luck for the scan cloud

little bless you - not much longer left to go, great that baby seems to be getting ready!

Ew sounds annoying by the sea, could a wire free bra help? (Normal name for without wire bra has escaped my pregnant brain Grin

33 weeks and I'm finished for mat leave!!! I could cry at the drop of a hat I'm so happy, it's just a milestone I have so feared over the years I would never reach!

Off on holiday to the cotswolds for a week tomorrow, we have a lodge, a pile of books, monopoly and chocolate - I can't flipping wait!!!

MyNameIsSuz · 18/07/2015 06:26

Hi everyone, can I tentatively join your thread? I got a very strong bfp yesterday.
Stats: 31, 1 ds (2.9), mmc in March with erpc. Not sure of due date yet but think it'll be 10th March.

I'm feeling less worried than I thought I would, though it's only been a day, probably because the lines on the tests were so strong - with the one I lost they were always faint.

Confusingly, I had three days of spotting about 3 weeks ago, right when my period was due, but it never developed into anything proper. I took a test at the time but it was negative. I still think it's from last month though, as it'd be a bit soon for a strong bfp this month. But it does mean I'm not sure at all - I could be 3 weeks or I could be 6. If anyone has seen this before...

Littlelady33 · 18/07/2015 08:33

Hurrah for mat leave and holiday cava that sounds like such a lovely way to spend a week. We kept filling up weekends and missed that last pre-baby holiday and I do wish we'd made time for one. Mynameis welcome and congrats on BFP. I'm afraid I'm not sure what the dates and spotting might mean but great that you have strong clear lines

Littlelady33 · 18/07/2015 08:34

Sorry bythesea meant to say I swear by M&S non underwired bra then just a sports bra at night? I was having the same problems

Nousername2015 · 18/07/2015 09:07

Welcome

Nousername2015 · 18/07/2015 09:11

Bloody phone! Anyway, welcome Suz. I'm not expert but they dont call the cycles after a mc the wtf cycles for nothing so there may not be any explanation. Sorry, that probably doesn't help you much.
I can't remember who posted the bra q but I'm another fan of the m&s total support non-wired bras. Be warned, they look granny tastic! I have an asda comfort bra for sleeping in, only got it a couple of days ago though so jury still out at the moment.

Hello to any other new ladies I've missed.

Tftpoo · 18/07/2015 09:22

Hello. May I join you please? I've been on the ttc after mc thread for a month or so after mmc at the beginning of June but I got a bfp last week. I'm trying not to get too excited but it's definitely a bfp (I have taken quite a few tests to be sure)!

suz, you sound exactly like me. I had about 24 hours of spotting around 12dpo but a negative pg test then last week I did a test at 16dpo and it was positive, a very strong line on a FRER. This was my wtf cycle too so I'm putting it down to that, I have done a lot of tests and they are all +ve so I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant (that and the sore boobs) but there is a little niggle at the back of my mind which won't go away until I have a scan. I think I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow so it's not long until I can have a scan at the EPU.

Tftpoo · 18/07/2015 09:27

Oh sorry, forgot my stats.

Name - Tftpoo
Age - 32
DC - 2 DS (twins aged 18 months)
MMC beginning of June, ERPC 8th June
Due date - sometime around mid-March

Marchgirl · 18/07/2015 14:17

Welcome suz and tft, may your stay here be long and uneventful Smile
Def sounds like it it could be from the earlier date suz. I had that with my 3rd pg and same as you it was a few weeks before i realised that i was pg. Oh to be so carefree as that again and not realise till later on, rather than the bag of nerves i am!

MyNameIsSuz · 18/07/2015 14:24

That's encouraging March! I was definitely symptom spotting like crazy and tested twice but obviously too early. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about.

Treaclepie19 · 18/07/2015 15:30

Hiya and welcome suz and Tft :)

Yay to mat leave and holiday cava :)

I'm having one if those days where everything worries me.
Recent worry - while pinning some curtains, one of the pins stuck in bump.

How is that even rational to worry about?
Crazy images about baby being poked with the pin or fluid leaking.
I think I'm goin cuckoo.

Thanks march - long and uneventful, that's exactly what I hope this pregnancy will be! I have a reassurance scan booked for a week on Tuesday when I think I'll be 7+2 although it's a bit difficult to tell as this was the wtf cycle. I'm already panicking because I didn't wake up at 3am last night for a wee which i always do when I'm pregnant.

cloudjumper · 18/07/2015 17:40

All good with my scan! Still No concerns, all looking well, good heartbeat and measuring right. Relieve doesn't come close Smile

Marchgirl · 18/07/2015 18:08

Great news cloud!

tft, if you know when you ov'd then dating should be easy, just count ov as 2 weeks. So 14dpo is 4 weeks. Safer to err on the side of under rather than overestimating dates as measuring smaller than you expect at scans is hugely stressful!

BumbleBee0 · 18/07/2015 18:24

Fantastic news cloud!!! Grin

northdownmummy · 18/07/2015 18:28

Just catching up on all the news after 10days camping.

Congratulations purple I had a wee tear in my eye reading your post and knowing you're having lively newborn snuggles

cavamonster · 18/07/2015 19:14

Great news cloud!!

Boysclothes · 18/07/2015 19:23

Hi guys, can I join in?

Boysclothes
1 x DS (2011)
1x ectopic 2014
1 x 5 week mc Mar 2015

Got a BFP a week ago, think I'm due 19th March and am 5 weeks today. Felt incredibly bleak at first, literally just doom filled. I had no idea how I was going to cope with another loss. But the lines got strong quite quickly (as with other posters, they were always quite faint with the last two pregnancies) and I'm feeling hopeful and even quite happy now! I have a scan in the 28th July (my birthday!) and I'll be devastated if an?thing is wrong. I just keep trying to remind myself that this pregnancy feels different, everything seems to be fine, my last two losses were not connected so there is no evidence of an underlying problem that means I should lose again.

However I Veeted my undercarriage this morning, and as I wiped the cream off the tissue was full of blood. My first thought wasn't "oh shit, another mc", it was "OK, you've had no cramps, this might still be fine" which was interesting. As it turned out I'd Veeted an ingrown hair and it was bleeding! relief! But obviously I am feeling hopeful. Just will feel like a total dick if this doesn't work out though. It's like I've got to be cynical the whole time otherwise I might get fooled. Weird.

Sorry for the long post, a lot of stuff going on in my brain right now. I can't believe how slowly every hour is going at the moment....

Thepurplegiraffe · 18/07/2015 20:25

Hi all

Just wanted to pop in and say thank you for all the lovely messages and well wishes. Jess is doing well so far, quite the little feeder which is intense, especially with a toddler but it's ok while DH is still off work. It might be another matter when he goes back.

So pleased to hear all the positive scan news and congratulations to the new bfps. Thinking of those who are next in the list, hope you are enjoying mat leave and things kick off soon, especially for Broody.

Tftpoo · 18/07/2015 20:32

Hi boys. I am new here too and have a scan on the same day as you. So incredibly nervous which is silly really as there's nothing I can do to influence the outcome. Fx for you, I hope everything carries on fine for you over the next week or so before the scan.
